Eye Color:Brown Personality: Military minded. And has a tendency to overreact to the point that it has noticeable effects on her health. Very self conscious about her body under her armor. Tends to be a brutal teacher as that is the way she was taught. Doesn't respond well to threats. Has been warned by anbu numerous times about hostile actions and violence. She is a good shinobi but has a bit of a temper. She doesn't make a very good spy however as her normal attire stands out quite a bit. She is more suited to close guard of a high value target. In combat she is not beyond dirty tricks to put her opponent out of action and is incredibly aggressive. This however seems to go against everything people see of her during the actual combat. She can be trying to bash your own weapon through your head and still have a coherent plan of action should the person respond Nindo:"Everything has its purpose"
Ashlan moved along with the group she was escorting from Konoha to Taki. She was moving in the front of the group, her byakugan flickering on and off at certain intervals to conserve her chakra, simply for watching their perimeter.

They've traveled quiet the distance since their departure. Raiden turned back, there was no sign of Konohagakure in sight. Everyone continued to pace forward, following Ashlan's lead. Raiden hasn't seen Takigakure in his entire life, and he was quite anxious to see what it looked like compared to Konohagakure. In fact, Raiden hadn't been outside the village at all in his entire life. The missions he took as a Genin were just errands, a few fights here and there with the occasional thief and such, but he couldn't complain, they were all worth doing.. Looking over to Take who was trotting proudly, had his nose high in the air, inhaling the scents surrounding them. Raiden decided to make small talk with the girl they were escorting, although it wasn't him to be much of a talker, it was rather boring walking in silence. And, this was surely not a stealth mission, so silence was not required. So, Hikari-san, how was your experience in Konohagakure? I'm surprised I didn't see you at all, I'm highly active within the village."

Hikari watched the two, nervous to make a sound as it seemed they were concentrating, although she felt like she could breath easy once Sir Raiden has spoken, "Sorry, I wasn't outside much. The Daimyo didn't like the sun so we well, avoided it." Hikari smiled as she thought about it, although it bothered her, she didn't want to look too bothered by it since the Daimyo would be someone the ideally respected and loved. At least that's what she thought. She never really thought about the relation of the Ninja to their Daimyo since they mainly talked to the Kage.
************* Far in the distance a strong chakra presence would be able to be sensed now by someone with superior senses and or a way of seeing chakra in the distance. The presence was moving towards them at incredible speeds, almost as though it would run right past them in a matter of minutes if it didn't slow down soon.

Ashlan had been strobing her Byakugan for just such an occurance, as they continued on. She would stop in the middle of the road and slowly draw her blue blade from its sheathe. Without turning her head she would speak as she started forward at a slow walk. "Raiden. Please hide Lady Hikari. We are going to have company momentarily and id like them to not know exactly where she was." She told the two as her byakugan pushed to full force, the forest lighting exploding into detail around her.

Raiden nodded in response, that surely sounded like the Daimyo. He wished she could have actually taken a trip around the village, there was so much to see, so many interesting sites. The barren road they once walked on, slowly turned into lush green grass. The entire area was slightly shaded by a vast area of large, rocky structures and patches of forest in the area. The wind blew violently for a brief moment, as the sun would slowly set, hiding behind the mountainous structures. Suddenly the group stopped all at once. Take's ears were perked up, hair raised upon his back and his tail erect. Something was not right, and when he was ordered to hide Hikari, he knew something was up. "Let's go, Raiden. Whoever this person is, they are very powerful indeed, we must protect the client at all cost." Take spoke for the first time after his mother's death, his voice deep but carried a mellow, calm tone. "Right. Hikari-san, please, come with me." Without even giving her a chance to respond, he walked up to her, gently taking he hand and leading her off the path into the mountains. He moved with rather a quick pace, with Take following close behind. Spotting a cave a small distance away from them, deeper into the rocky mountains, he quickly entered. The cave itself was not very steep, from where the light ends, total darkness only traveled about 5 yards into the cave until you met with a rocky wall. Holding her hand the entire way, once he felt the wall with his other hand, he stopped. "We will be safe here, Hikari-san. If anyone finds you, it is my duty to make sure you are not harmed. You have nothing to worry about." He turned to the entrance of the cave, where the dim light from the outside could be seen, Take patrolling the area from within the cave.

Hikari could sense the atmosphere change as she heard Lady Ashlan state that she needed to be hid. "I-Is everything alright?" Hikari was tugged away, scaring her slightly as the mood in the air changed. She followed the animal to the cave, slightly startled that it could actually speak, although many other things were far worse than that. "A-Alright, I'll stay here..."
********************* The presence approaching the two shinobi stopped almost immediately when it noticed Hikari being moved to another location. It was almost as if it was debating whether or not to follow Hikari or confront the shinobi waiting for it. The presence slowly moved towards the two shinobi, soon to confront them.

Ashlan watched the shinobi stop and look in the direction that they had moved the lady. She wasnt going to give her the opportunity to Decide which of the groups to go after. She moved toward the shinobi drifting in the direction that they had taken her, to put herself inbetween the girl and this intruder. She stood waiting, her longsword keeping that light blue sheen from the light flooding the area. She shut her eyes and watched the person with her doujutsu, hoping the veins around her eyes would be slightly obscured by her hair and not as noticeable.

Surrounded by complete darkness, it had been several long minutes of silence within the cave. Take continue to observe the outside of the cave, his figure shrouded by the darkness of the cave. Raiden was itching to help fight, but he knew his duty was here, in this cave, to protect their client. He knew Ashlan would be capable of taking down this foe, but something in the back of his mind often brought up the case where this enemy was stronger than any of them could have expected. Crouching beside Hikari, he sighed, tapping his finger against the knuckles of his other hand as he brought them together. Just as he was thinking about joining Ashlan, Take turned to him. "Raiden. Listen up. I know your duty is to protect the client, but I feel you are needed more in the midst of battle. You would be of great assistance to the Hyuga. I can protect the client myself." Raiden wanted to protest, opening his mouth, but Take quickly cut him off. "Go. Now." His voice seemed to deepen in tone, the sounding of demand and seriousness lingered in his voice. With a nod, he stood, leaving the cave. His figure illuminated dimly by the light of the sun, he turned back towards the cave, looking at both Hikari and Take, before dashing off to Ashlan's side. The distance from the cave to her wasn't far, and took a short amount of time to reach her. Walking from behind he, he halted his advancement as he now stood next to her, side by side, looking forward and waiting for the encounter.

Yuffie silently body-flickered ten feet in front of the woman with a sword, silent for a moment before ultimately detecting that she was in relation to the princess. She was most likely a body guard. It was a shame, Yuffie was hoping to do this silently as those had been the instructions issued to her by Hikari's brother, to dispose of Hikari as quickly and efficiently as possible and sloppy wasn't something Yuffie wanted on her record. A thin violet mist exhaled with each breath from Yuffie's poison mask, her chakra most obviously. "Hand over Hikari and you'll be able to avoid bloodshed." She grew silent again, keeping her business sort and sweet. She didn't have time for negotiations.

"Mmm...thought so. Well if you insist on your path, you could try asking nicely... " She said to her, her weapon held loosely by her right leg and her eyes slowly opening, byakugan blazing, almost peering into her soul. She would never let this girl past but in all honesty if she tried to simply walk by she would simply get cut down. Her sword was almost bleeding chakra from it as she waited there in front of the girl, other hand going into her pouch and fingering the edges of a bit of paper.

Raiden would simply take a step back. He didn't want to get in Ashlan's way, but if the time called for it, he would help her. He was worried about Hikari's safety, but leaving to check now would only cause the foe to follow, and he couldn't risk that. Watching intently, he was ready to assist whenever he needed to. He remained silent, studying the foes features. She wore a gas-mask, quite odd for the average- no wait, nothing about this ninja was average, a gas-mask was a clear sign of... "Poison." He thought to himself, his half-slit eyes staring the opponent down.

Yuffie performed several hand signs before wings emerged on her back. They were violet in color and and she immediately began flapping them, floating into the air as she did so. "I do not apologize." While in the air, she performed several hand signs and exhaled a poisonous mist from her mask that sprinkled downwards as though it were a mist beginning to coat the area in which the shinobi were standing. While she sprayed her toxic mist downwards, she watched the shinobi, hoping that her ally Melanie was taking care of the princess while Yuffie stayed her and kept the two occupied. While it burned, a mirror appeared on the wall across the cave to which a young woman stepped out. She looked at Hikari with a glee in her eyes, "Yay! To think that seal would actually come in use! Alright Hikari, I'm going to have to kill you. It's nothing personal, it's just well- I'm about to get that promotion and I don't want to mess things up." The woman giggled as she spoke. "You understand right?"

As Raiden predicted, she did use poison and it was now flowing towards them in a misty fashion. Raiden was well aware of what poison could do if one succumbed to it, and the effects were nasty. Quickly leaping back onto his hands, he propelled himself off of his hands back to his feet, a fair distance away from the mist, behind a large rock structure. Suddenly a scream came from inside the cave and a mirror appeared directly near the location of Take and Hikari, another ninja who seemed to be working with the poisonous kunoichi appeared. Raiden's heart began to race, although his facial expression remained calm. Hikari was in serious danger, and so was his companion. Quickly forming a single hand seal, his figure faded into the air around him instantly, and suddenly he appeared in front of Hikari, a single tanto withdrawn in his hand, in the defensive position. "Are you alright? I apologize for leaving your presence, Hikari-san. I will not let it happen again." He stood firmly in front of Hikari, Take eventually at his side, growling at the foe before them. She is a good shinobi but has a bit of a temper. She doesn't make a very good spy however as her normal attire stands out quite a bit. She is more suited to close guard of a high value target. The girl was in serious danger and she had to deal with this poison user before she became dangerous. She sighed and took a tight grip on her longsword, the blade clacking when it straightened up. A dim light shone from her body as she set into her combat stance, the light forming a small aura around her. She spun slightly and the blade of her sword just barely touched the grass below her. She said loud enough to carry through the valley as the light from her blade intensified and pillar of light would erupt from the ground, shooting into the sky and moving at a rapid pace through the area. She didnt need to worry too much about the mist but she moved back and slightly away from the cave in case she missed the kunoichi. She didnt want to bring the team too close together. .

The pillars are quick and can track but have a limited turning radius and dont last very long after leaving the users sword.
Oversoul Simple :: Rank C ((must master stage three to acquire)) Through time the user begins to develop a aura of light when they shift into certain stances. This aura increases their defense through a thin layer of chakra which can be used to repel light ninjutsu such as sprinkles of rain or dust. This also improves their reaction time sharply.
