Often shortened as simply The Imperial State, this nation controls Aetes' largest continent. The Imperial State is an empire that threatens to conquer the rest of the world. Ruled by a powerful Emperor, the State is a brutal autonomy with the largest military in the world. Though it lags behind in Super Science, it has more people than any other nation. There is a sharp difference between the upper class and the rest of the country in the State. The Upper class nobles live in decadence and the rest of the nation is in completely poverty. Yet, the Upper Class is not to be underestimated. All members, male or female of the noble class, are required to receive military training as early as 13 years of age. For the upper class, military service is mandatory, while the lower class is usually kept out of all wars. The Imperial State respects one thing: power. If a member of the lower class joins the military and proves to be a superior fighter, they will often be risen up to the upper echelon of society. Likewise, nobles who show weakness on the battlefield have all of their wealth and power taken away from them. In the Imperial State, only the strong survive, and the weak wither.
