It had happened so fast she still wasn't completely sure what had happened. Ranee hardly thought the simple patrol General Rish had given her would turn out so badly leaving her stranded in the hospital in critical condition for what seemed like forever, she was surprised she'd even survived, how had she, had there been another zoid there seeing her fall a quick one enough to get her to the hospital on time.
Why was she even alive? Did something protect her? Did she want to know what if it had?
For a Long time she couldn't move, hell she'd been in a coma for two weeks, it had taken her at least another week coming out of it, she was dazed and still confused, her body refused to move much during that time her muscles were sore and weak. Toward the end of that final month she'd started coming too and recognizing where she was, though she still wasn't allowed visitors till she could properly sit up other than her father, personal maid and pet. The one thing however that didn't heal was the scar she'd received the mission 'prior.'
However, when she could finally sit up... All hell broke loose, something worse than the judge itself came calling.. Cole her fiancee and this time she couldn't do anything to avoid him. She had no idea what had happened to the rest of the empire, she vaguely recalled more missiles being shot toward the capital unknowing how dire the consequences had truly been... She wasn't sure she wanted to know what happened, but something told her she needed to know.
However that doting fool of a Fiancee of hers constantly seemed to dodge her whenever she asked. Even her father seemed more ragged than usual, dealing with the politics.
Ranee could only stare out the window and wonder what had happened her memory was still so hazy, she didn't think it would ever really clear. What had happened to Striker? That salamander that was with him? Ciel her peacock nuzzled her gently on the side of the cheek causing her to wince a little pain, she was still so sore every part of her still ached. Training to get back in shape would be even more painful.
Unfortunately her thoughts were interrupted by her flamboyant Fiancee entering the room for the fifth time that day as he had continued fulling her Room full of flowers... and he came every day since he'd been allowed to.
"Oh! Ranee! you're doing better I see even more so than when I saw you last!" the sandy brown haired man said as he brought through another huge bouquet of flowers and chocolates, and jewelry among other things. "I wrote another Poem for you!" He said placing the extravagant gifts in the small space left(He'd managed to fill the entire bloody room).
"Radiant as ever my little flower blossom!" he spoke as he fiddled with the large display of gifts and flowers...
This was going to be another lengthy visit. She couldn't get out of.

Rish moved down the halls of the hospital quietly, going entirely unnoticed by the staff. Or at least, perhaps she had that statuesque face on so well that no one desired to acknowledge her. It was all the same, Rish held her gaze forward and quite appreciated being able to get to her destination without trouble.
As she rounded the corner she could hear the obnoxious call of another being in the room. Oh, she knew that one. The poor guy had been there countless times making sure his fiance was alright. Admirable, but not what she wanted to walk into. Unfortunately the man would have to go.
She drew a soft breath as she turned the corner to the hospital chambers. As expected, there he was at her side with the entire room over done with gifts. That was a bit much... too much. Thankfully Ranee's prayers were answered.
"Get out." Rish commanded in her well known tone of ice to Cole. The look in the general's eye suggested death would be the result of the inability to follow that order.
She entered the room, not waiting for Cole to leave. If the boy was smart he would listen and be gone within the next second...

As cole was going on he didn't hear the general come in until she spoke, sending a shiver down his spine, and he was terrified. Cole instantly silenced himself unable to say anything, that was the woman Ranee worked for in the military? She was terrifying how could Ranee deal with her? and what possessed her to stay, things like they were Ranee could probably return home.
He'd nearly jumped out of his skin when Rish spoke, all he managed was a "Yes M'am" and he'd squeaked it surprised stiffly run-walking out of the room. Cole Closed the door behind him.
The Military sure was scary, he sat on the other side of the wall. If Ranee Needed him he'd be here he decided despite how terrifying Rish was. Not that he was intending on Eaves dropping.
Ranee had seen Rish enter the room, painfully she saluted or tried to. She guessed it would pass the effort was there. But it was amusing to see Cole silenced so quickly, she'd have to learn how to do that, it was quite effective. If she hadn't been wounded or trying to keep a formal face she would have laughed. She might still laugh when this was over. It was the funniest thing she'd seen since being cooped up in this hospital bed.
"Good Day General," Ranee greeted once Cole was out of the room. He probably wasn't that far away, heaven forbid he actually go home and help with whatever is going on.
Right she had no idea what was going on yet, she supposed she'd be getting debriefed now with the General's appearance though the visit surprised her most wouldn't bother to visit the sick in the hospital but she guessed Rish would explain why she was here too soon.

Rish didn't even watch as Cole vacated the premises, her focus remained forward and posture statuesque. Though, after the door had closed he gave a quick glance over her shoulder. That young lad had a lot of personal issues to sort out... His closeness to the door would not be tolerated. Thankfully for him Rish wouldn't handle the nuisance herself.
"You should not be moving so much private." Rish spoke flatly as she turned attention back to Ranee. "Your family would not appreciate further injury."
Slowly she approached the bedside, ignoring the chair and settling for standing by the rail. BY GOD she was about ready to burn some of the flowers that obnoxiously pelted the room. The smell was borderline too bothersome. Thankfully her thoughts on the state of the room were completely hidden by her emotionless face.
After a moment of pause Rish shifted her deep-blue gaze to study the condition of her soldier.
"...how is your shoulder?" She inquired after her eye returned its full gaze to Ranee's own eyes.

*Ahem*
Cole was met with the sharp azure gaze of another man. A curled calloused hand shifted from his mouth to reveal the rugged dark stubble of The General's Executive officer. His chin adorned what looked to have been the makings of a beard, that had gone unshaved. Perhaps purposefully in a attempt to make a beard or unlikily just lazy behavior. Though as tight as the collar was on the male before Cole, it was a quick assumption the XO was trying to make a chin mane, and had a case of a uneven growth hairline. His chest was broad and lined with rank, as it seemed to challenge the stereotypical body type of someone that stood in his ranking, as second command to the General. Her personal assistant, did not take kindly to such signs of eavesdropping no matter how 'valiant' the ideals behind it, it was still a security risk. He would not let the General fall 'fool' to such a thing. Or rather it was a show of mercy to the the unsuspecting male, less he had to deal with The General himself, as she no doubt knew of his actions.
"If you could wait down the hall, Civilian." Left Zyon's lips, in a even unamused tone. His strong brow was strict and unmoving as his strong tall stance of 6'2''. No amusement or kindness seem to line the expression of the ebony short haired man.
His hand had joined it's fold with his other strong hand behind his back, that only made the man in uniform seem all the more tight-laced then his uncreased and above protocol filled garb. His eyes didn't change from his tight and focused gaze as time passed they seemed board more deeply into the man before him.

Cole turned with surprise again nearly leaping out of his skin, what was it with all these scary military people and sneaking up on him. "You sir need to learn not to walk so lightly on your feet..." only dawning on him how large the man before him actually was after a time. He suddenly felt quite small. but Grouping him with Common people hurt his pride.
But he was in no position to protest. "But what if she needs me?" he asked hopefully as he kept glancing at the door. "For Emotional Support?" he added knowing he really didn't have any thing to work with despite trying to think of something...
"I'll just go wait down the hall" he said after a silence.
----
Gave Rish a nod before laying back down didn't have to tell her twice, it was just she didn't think the general would have liked to be disrespected.
Yeah the flowers were a little insane, she'd been giving the over obnoxious amount of flowers to the other patients via one of the nurses, She'd have opened a window if she had even half of her range of movement. it was probably the only thing right now Rish and Ranee would agree on, the burning of flowers. Get Rid of them...
"Slow healing, like the rest of me, but better" she said her attention held on the general. "I still don't know what happened... at least not completely." the lack of memory visibly frustrating and being left out of the loop wasn't any better. She didn't suppose the General just came to see how she was, there must be something "To what do I owe the visit General?"

Rish stood perfectly still as Ranee explained her situation. There was no indication on her features whether she was concerned or not. Based on rumor, likely not. When Ranee got down to the real question Rish took another scan at the soldier's condition.
"I came to investigate your condition." She spoke flatly once her eyes settled back on Ranee's. "I already have Shun on a special mission, and you will be joining him soon."
She drew a deep breath before her stone-faced appearance was broken by a small grin. Perhaps a joke that had been in her mind finally surface. Or perhaps the thought of burning all those flowers was still fresh in her mind.
"Perhaps in a few days... Your family will be glad of your full recovery."

XO Deadthorn was unmoved by the sudden surprise Cole met with, nor did the comment gain any changed emotion. The man just merrily stared at the civilian, knowing the gained baring would come with regret for such a statement.
"Sir, I suggest you move down the hall, before I am force to answer such a statement...." Sighed Zyon matter-a-factually as he closed his eyes for a moment. Though stone solid expression remained as the silence occupied their space for a moment. His fixed azure gaze only tightened further at the man, should he dare stay Zyon would be force remove the man as well as speak unwanted truth to the male.
Taking in a slow breath, Deadthorn waited for the male to excuse himself before his place was taken at the door. Turning his back to the door, his arms remained behind his back. Feet apart he stood at attention and guard at the door.

Rish had come to check her condition. She was likelyto be sent to be sent on another misson soon. Wonderful she wondered briefly how much longer till she was clinically insane the way the missions went probably not much longer. Shd could kiss any career in politics good bye as she'd end up a vegetable the way things went.
This whole checking on her so she could be sent out again... wasn't entirely unfamiliar nobles did it all the time. Whatever mission rish had in store Ranee expected she might end up in worse condition than she wss in now. Though she should probably figure out what went down after she crashed.
"If I may m'am what's going on? its still chaotic out there." Ranee glanced out her window before returning her attention to Rish. "I've been pretty much kept in the dark here."
Best keep things formal even in her poor condition. "You also have a new misson don't you m'am." Ranee cut straight to the point.

It was strange how 'to the point' this one had gotten so quickly. It caused Rish's eyebrow to raise. She would have expected such a thing from Shun, though not in such a manner. Ranee's repetitiveness did not amuse the stone faced general. That grin had formed was already completely gone.
"Is that not what I had just said child? Perhaps I have misjudged your thinking capabilities." Rish spoke coolly before shifting her gaze to the window. "You will be joining Shun and Talon when you are ready. Clearly, you still need time to recover."
Cold eyes looked down to the patient . Her arms folded securely behind her back.
"You have yet to be able to move from that bed... and do not dare to even try to, I can see it from here you lack the strength to."

A sigh released from Rish's assistant as he wordlessly reached into his uniform lining pocket. So, it had come to this...
His white dress gloved hand pulled out a hand-sized hard case. Turning to the door, Zyon opened it with the easy toggle of the handle. In a quite movement, the XO entered Ranee's room....
Closing the door, a dexterous hand, moved from the handle as the door was shut and turned the deadbolt lock. He knew how the General demanded and enjoyed her privacy.
Stepping from the secured door, and with the easy shift of his thumb on the metal latch, the case in hand was opened. The dark haired man, didn't look up from his soundless work as he shifted his free hand to retrieve two small items from the case. The contents of the small pocket size case was obscured from view, be it intentional or not-it wasn't easy to tell what it was. That was until, the case closed with a soft snap and was replaced in the officer's jacket; If one had been paying attention to the male. His finger tips swiftly put together what looked to be some kind of needle and syringe.
The only sound made from him was the soft tap of worn leather boots as he approached his General's side, where he rested just a little behind. A respectful place that told of his rank and own standing....
Icy azure eyes patiently closed, as he waited at Rish's side.

Ranee snapped to attention, "I'm sorry general, I do," Ranee would have tried to right her head but a lot of things were still rather cluttered. She still had a lot of trouble with obviously a lot of things. Nor was she in the mood to play any sort of little game.
Ranee wasn't going anywhere yet for a while. "I will try and recover, quickly," ranee had to pause a moment, the general mentioned Talon, Had she been able to contact him? That was the best news she'd gotten lately, he was still alive, after god knows what. "Talon, you heard from him how is he?" though before she could ask anything more her attention shifted to the man behind who opened the door silently slipping in Carrying a small case and latching the door.
He had the same demeanor as The general, what a pair they would make. What a silly thought to have now that she thought about it especially in her predicament.
The syringe Ranee's gaze darted to as it was removed from the case, having a noble's eye detail was usually something she'd catch as rusty as that skill was for her right now. Suddenly the door latching made her worry "What's that for..." she eyed the man trying to keep the syringe out of sight. Ranee shifting away slightly, as much as she could the movement still causing her pain. If only she could move, properly... if she hadn't been hit by that.. That missile. She had a really bad feeling seeing that..
Medicine?

Rish didn't give her XO a second glance as he entered the room and prepared the lovely sharp device for use. All attention remained cemented upon Ranee. She really was a fun character. 'try to recover as fast as possible'. There were a few ways that that could be possible, one of which was positive thinking and Rish was sure that was not going on about now in her soldier's head.
"I know you will." She spoke coolly.
Her hand gestured toward Ranee with the palm flat up before she stepped to the side to allow her XO to pass by and complete his task. A subtle grin formed on her lips.
"He is as well as can be. In the wonderful care of two wonderful ZOIDs who respect him deeply." She lowered her hand than allowed them to fold behind her back in another bold authoritative stance. "He should have his little companion by now. I took care to be sure it arrived undamaged, so I hope that has improved his morale."
Before the next question was answered she gave a side glance to Zion before returning the full force of her chilled gaze to rest upon Ranee again.
"If I told you that would take away the surprise..." Her grin broadened. "Though, do be warned, it might pinch your neck a little."

As Rish stepped aside, Zyon moved forward and took no care it hiding the syringe as he raised it. Approaching Ranee, he only let his sharp Azure eyes glance at the General as her own gaze glanced at him.
Only a grimace smile sparked in his gaze as a emotionless face remained as his eyes returned on the woman in the bed.
"You are going to want to sit up..." The officer's voice was strong but surprisingly youthful and steadfast. He warned as he approached the bed side, but -moved- to inject the syringe in the back of the private's neck in the middle and along the spine.
If needed, he would wordlessly cox her head if met with retaliation.
(This is a action, not a forced response if you want her to retaliate... ^-^.)

"Well That's good then, he's alive at least.." Hopefully no worse for ware mentally or physically. Maybe he got lucky and nothing happened on the rogue lands.
Though Ranne's mind wanted to wander back to her skin. The scaring couldn't be that bad, she hoped anyway she'd been healing pretty well from what the doctors had said though right now that was one of the farthest thoughts from her mind, the optimism seemed to have taken a back seat to worry.
Ok so her general was actually slightly evil Ranee was sensing, probably for a reason bit still. Maybe she should have just laid low instead of her father getting her this slightly crazy post.
"It's not the pinching..." she said still trying painfully to shift away. She was beginning to think what ever that serum was was going to cause her excruciating pain. Please don't let it turn her into some sort of monster. This pain she could deal with right now, because she was healing, but..
No more unknowns... please.
Ranee did sit up eventually with some effort. The General was no doubt amused at watching her squirm. This was insane. But there wasn't much she could do to avoid this situation all her limbs were screaming. Still she tried to shift away it was all she could really do, she didn't have very much movement.
"It's not going to turn me into some biological monster is it?" She said still uncomfortably watching the need inch closer.
