Personality: Like all Hatake, Raiden's attitude is aloof, seemingly uninterested in everything; a rather boring facial expression. Despite that, you could say Raiden's overall personality is similar to that of of...well... a dog. He's very loyal to his superiors, especially the Hokage, and always keeps up with the rules in which he follows without question and with remarkable ability. Raiden makes friends occasionally, usually with those who have a passion for canines the same way he does. He's very protective of those close to him, and at times can become rather territorial about his surroundings or other people. In tune with his boring nature, Raiden is known for his sarcasm and comedic gestures when slightly irritated. Possessing a rather calm and composed demeanor, the likes of him becoming angry are very slim.

History: Born in Konohagakure, the Village Hidden in the Leaves, Raiden was raised, from birth, with strict morals and rules to follow, that of which you could expect from someone born into the Hatake clan. Growing up, Raiden was taught the way of the Hatake, which involved many strict rules and morals that were to be followed loyally, especially those within his family lineage of the Hatake, who took certain values to their hearts. His family tradition was said to go back many years ago, originating from the Satomi Canine Warriors, which were actually dogs. These dogs today, would become the companions, allies, and summoning aide of those in his family. Each newborn member of the family would receive their companion, which possessed an orb of their most strongest value; this orb also contained special abilities. The first ten years of his life, he was not raised by his parents, but members of the Satomi Orb Guardians, where they trained him in the ways of the Hatake, to find which value proved strongest out of the rest. Raiden was given a husky after passing his training, which possessed the Duty Orb. It's original name is Gi, which stands for duty, but given the permission to change his name, Raiden named him Take. These two would grow a close relationship with one another as time went by, in which he would also meet with another Satomi Orb Guardian later in life, once another value has been achieved, and the beast finds him worthy of his service.
After being enrolled into the academy, he was finally able to go back home to his parents, whom he hadn't seen since his birth. Akio Hatake, Raiden's father and a highly respected ninja in Konohagakure was a member of the Anbu Black Ops, and also served the Hokage with undying loyalty. Akio was rather strict, making sure Raiden excelled in everything within his ability, which Raiden did not have a problem with doing. His mother, Kushi Hatake was a medical ninja and was known for her superior medical ninjutsu talent. Unlike his father, Kushi was more gentle, like a mother should be, but she always made sure he was minding his father's commands, and doing the right thing. With a highly moral-based family, his life in the academy wasn't as hard as some would think. He was hailed as one of the best students in his class behavioral, academic, and skill wise. This gran accomplishment would lead to Raiden graduating the academy years before the rest of his class, at a young age of 12, becoming a Genin shortly after.
His life as a Genin was fully of duties, as he was constantly taking up missions, some that Genin wouldn't even think about doing. His success as a Genin thus far, would make his parents very proud, as well as other members of his clan and the Hokage. His years of moral constructing would prove a success as he grew older, they began to take a large effect in his life. He never talked back to his superiors, and treated them with the utmost respect he knew they deserved, following any order they asked without question. His Sensei was his father, so he didn't receive the chance to interact with other people his age in a team, other than his companion Take. He had always dreamed of becoming apart of the Anbu like his father, and even surpass his father and become a highly respected ninja in Konohagakure. This dream pushed him to better himself as well as being on good terms with higher-ranking shinobi such as those in the Anbu who worked under the Hokage, and the Hokage herself. Even as a Genin, he would take on errands and such for the Hokage, making him feel as if he was already apart of the Anbu, he didn't mind running errands for such a great leader. His interaction and involvement in the Hokage's life gave him the nickname "Hokage's Pet", by many higher ups in the village.
Proving himself to be a rather remarkable shinobi, his father would often let him attend less dangerous missions the Anbu were directed to take by the Hokage, and this is when he would find unsettling news about his father. An illness that only ran on the male side in Raiden's family consisted of an incurable heart disease, that slowly takes more drastic effects until leading to the final cause: a painful death. During this mission, his father would take serious damage from this illness, leading to his slow and painful death. Raiden had watched the entire scene, filled with sadness, but no type of emotion about his person, which was taught to him at a young age about concealing and controlling his emotions. He and his mother who also participated in this mission went back to Konohagakure, and within one short year, after his early promotion to Chunin rank, his mother died from a very deep state of depression. Now considered an orphan, Raiden did not let the deaths of his parents get him down, he would use this as a motive to make his parents proud and become a ninja in which the entire village could rely on.

Description: Gi is one of the Eight Satomi Orb Guardians of Raiden's family. He possesses the Duty orb, which was one of Raiden's strongest values after training in the Satomi temple for ten years. Gi was given to Raiden as a gift for completing his training, as well as a guide to make sure his key value was being followed at all times. Their relationship grew stronger with each passing day, and grew even stronger after the death of Raiden's parents, for Gi was the only "family" he seemed to have left. After receiving Gi as his companion, he renamed him Take. Take approved of the name and deemed Raiden worthy of his service and alliance. Take wears a neck-piece that bears the Satomi Canine Warriors symbol, with the orb of Duty on the front that keeps the item in place. His personality is similar to that of a Hatake, but around his pack he shows a proud and powerful exterior. Being as fast as he is, and his communication skills, he is used often as a messenger, able to deliver messages at a quick pace, or even relay them to another person. Take's protection and loyalty to Raiden is beyond compare, and only grows stronger as their relationship grows.
