Mei Liu pushed two small clouds together with her claws before chomping down on it. She giggled as she was unable to eat it. In the sun, she looked like a bright moving rainbow, flying through one cloud onto the next one trying to break them apart.

The snow was slowly melting over the east side of the island and Mei flew down towards the edge of the forest. She landed quietly near the entrance and peeked into the forest. Birds were chirping while hidden in the trees calling to one another. "I wish I wasn't so big. The animals seem to be scared of a dragon my size..." She lowered herself over a mud puddle and drank the brown liquid to quench her thirst.

A light calm breeze swept over the island and through the forest. It made the leaves rustle. The birds stopped chirping and it became quiet. Mei stopped drinking the muddy water and looked up after she heard a “HI” out of nowhere. The brown liquid dripped down her mouth and onto her chest. She didn’t see anyone. Puzzled by the unexpected greeting, she stood up on all fours. “Who’s there.” she said, and grunted a few times to let whoever it was know that she’s not afraid. She shook her head and looked around the environment one more time in hopes to spot anything."Show yourself." Mei swiped her right claw through the tall grass in front of her, confused.

Little Ciderplumb blinked and floated back someways, pressing himself against a nearby ...rock that did absolutely nothing for hiding his yellow and red scales. "Eeep!" he squeaked and again tried to flatten himself out ( again, he was pretending he was exactly the same mossy blue stone as the rock. ) once more with gusto. It really was adorable. "Don't eat me! I'm not tasty! I'll...give you terrible indigestion and try to take your esophagus on the way down! I swear! "

With a huff, and a puff--and a rare rally from his courage-- the little wyrm puffed himself up to look bigger...Seriously. He puffed his little cheeks out and floated as menacingly as he could towards the rainbow female. He even tried a 'mean' look. It was a good effort, after all. It wasn't everyday a Rainbow spooked because of a small tough thing like him.

Ciderplumb's ego grew one size that moment.

Kunko and Ullr, on the other hand, finally realized that their travel-sized companion had wandered off. How bothersome! They had finally agreed to a contract of terms too! Well, this didn't do well between the Kitsune and the Reindeer; they needed that little wyrm for officiating purposes!

There were bets who found the little brat first. Wagers were cast, shiny stones were exchanged and piled into the pool for collection later, and the two set off to find this thing. Hopefully Ciderplumb hadn't got himself in trouble. Hopefully. Ullur doubted it, but Kunko firmly believed that his little scribe was up to no good and probably taking on a wildebeast. They had professional differences.

". . . " was about all the Kitsune could emote when he wandered, eventually, across the Rainbow Lass defending herself from...his scribe? He did note the blue male with a fancy necktie not too far off, but really, he was of no concern. Kunko's ears listened closely to the conversation between his Scribe and this female, though after a moment, he became bored. Those ears fell accordingly--eventually he grew annoyed. Those nine tails of his flowed behind as he took to sitting and watching, in plain site, this play by play. "Seriously?' he grumbled to himself, perhaps to the other Male that was nearby, "She's totally going to eat him. "

Kunko simply shrugged, barely casting his eyes over to the blue male when it voiced concern for the safety of the little spirited thing. Really, Ciderplumb could take care of himself quite well. Granted, this time there was a great size difference, but a little wyrm could take down many large things when its mind was focused.

"It is not of your concern." he said lazily, though in good humor. Perhaps there was a bit of a smile on Kunko's face, perhaps it was more of an awaiting to watch a trainwreck smirk... Either way Kunko was more than prepared to swoop in and swat the stupid beings into some resembilance of sense. "But the thought is noted. Ciderplumb can take care of himself. He is an old one, for being just a wyrm. And an old, old friend of mine since my own days as a little fuzzy armless thing. It is simply the state he chooses to be. "

The kitsune gazed at this male, watching him play with that shiny ball of his in that absent way. The odd chivalry was noted, but what was also noted was how it was said. To jump into a fight without fully assessing both sides? Jumping to the 'weaklings' side automatically? Kunko could see the flaw in that, and it was quite open there. While he, himself, was not one to choose sides so readily, this little scene before him was not going to escalate to one of which this blue male was implying. With a slow blink, and study of this one concluded, Kunko's tails slowly swished as he gazed back to the animated scene before him.

He was of the school of someone asking for help, he would help; jumping in without being asked resulted in more trouble than what it was worth. Unless he knew them, and knew that they were either totally fine or really needed help. Ciderplumb got this. He knew how to intimidate. That wyrm was no push over. ( Though, tie a string to him, and he'd make a very handsome dragon kite with a temper. )

"Why.. you.. " Mei was surprised to see a little puffed up wyrm float towards her and didn't know what to say. Instead, she lunged forward, kicked up loose patches of grass from her sudden take off, and clasped the wyrm tight between her front claws as she rolled onto the ground and onto her back. She made the wyrm face her and let her hind legs flail playfully in the air. "Who are you?" she roared, and went on to hold the wyrm by his tail. She dangled him around in the air like a cat toying with its prey, and observed the neat pattern on his body with her bright purple eyes. "You look rather toxic..." She squirmed around on the ground, which made her sink deeper into the soft muddy soil, and was certain that this definitely wasn't one of the wyrms she grew up with. The pheromone he had was off too. Thinking about the others distracted her and she reminisced about her past for a quick moment before she snapped out of it.
Mei focused her attention back toward her "prey," and dangled him above her face, above her mouth, as she stared up at him. Like she's almost ready to eat him. "I bet i'd get indigestion from eating you alive." She licked her lips as she spoke. "Maybe I should burn you first..." She sucked in a big gulp of air, and made it look like she was ready to breathe out fire. This was all in pretend to act like a carnivorous dragon, and she became excited. She showed a serious expression on her face and hoped to try and get a scare out of the cute puffed up wyrm.
