It has been some time since the Gladier named Zack Fair found, and wished on, a shooting star. Every day, since that day, he would look up to the sky to see if it had coming true. But, if he was honest with himself... he had no idea on how to tell if his wish was even granted.
A lot of ideas flashed in his head, from; a bright flash of light in the sky, another shooting star racing across the sky, it dropping right in front of him, to some super sparkly, magical letter. But, none of these things happened, and as the days went on and on, the more discouraged the SOLDIER warrior got.
Right now, Zack was under a tree; too restless to just lounge, but yet, not really pumped enough to do his typical squats. He just sighed, pacing slightly back and forth. "Perhaps I just didn't wish good enough?" He stomps the ground slightly with a gloved paw, "I knew I should have given that long wish I thought up!"

 Illiyana was walking around, enjoying the fresh air and sights around her. She loved all the colors and sounds around her. The young glaider titled her head upon hearing a voice, and poking her head cautiously around the base of the tree she found someone was there. "... What should you have given up?"

Suddenly hearing a voice call to him from no where, Zack jumped a bit, "Woah!" He exclaimed as he spun around to see who it was that spoke to him. Seeing the rather pretty face coming from around the tree, he blinked a bit before chuckling lightly. "Oh... It wasn't that I should have given up anything... I'm just complaining about something stupid really."

Illiyana tried to stiffle the string of giggles that arose at the mans surprise. "Nothing is stupid if you believe in it hard enough." She said as she stepped around the branch and sitting down. "What was it?"

He got a slight pout on his face when she asked what he was complaining about, not really wanting to admit that he was wishing on stars. But, he also couldn't turn down a request either. With a sigh, he sat down and looked to her. "I was complaining about a wish I made on a star not seeming to come true. I feel that I should have given it a longer wish and maybe it would have come true."

Illiyana blinked, canting her head to the side. "...Well when did you wish on it? Just cause it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't happen at all. Things just take time."

Zack got even a little more upset when she asked when he wished on it. He idly rolled a pebble around with his paw, looking down. "Well... almost a year ago really. I believed that too, but really, would it take that long?"

She blinked, then canted her head to the side as she thought. "...Maybe?? Did you ask for a big thing? Sometimes bigger takes longer to get here right??" Illiyana had only wished for tiny things, or what she had assumed where tiny things. To find something she had lost or for tomorrow to be a sunny day. Things of that nature. She wondered curiously what it was that this man had wished for.
And that was when she realized she was talking with someone and neither of them knew each others names.
"Oh my goodness!" She squeaked, clearly flustered. "I'm sorry! I've been talking talking with you and you don't even know my name! Where are my manners!" She smacked her forehead, sticking out her tongue cutely. "My name's Illiyana."

When she asked on if he wished for a big thing, he blushed at the thought. Wishing for a mate, well, he felt it was a big thing, he also felt rather embarrassed if he had to admit that he had to wish for that.
When she squeaked, he looked to her as she explained that they didn't even introduce themselves to each other. When she stuck out her tongue, he chuckled softly, finding it rather adorable. "It's great to meet you. I'm Zack Fair." He paused for a moment, "Illiyana, huh? That's a beautiful name."
