The orange demonic female slipped silently into the shop. It had been awhile since she'd been here, and for once it was relatively quiet. A relief to her as her abilities had been a bit unstable lately, and the gnawing hunger in her belly made her far more interested in eating than mutilating her food due to some passerby's road rage.
She slipped quietly into the kitchen and raided the fridge grabbing bread, cheese, and some chicken before slipping back into a quiet corner and ripping into the food. She hardly noticed anyone around her, although she was vaguely aware of someone close by...but more by physical proximity than emotional, which was how she usually detected others.

Castor slowly wormed his way through the crowd surrounding the shop, being careful not to come in close contact to anyone. He hated being anywhere near strangers, but he was so sure that he'd meet someone today. He'd made one friend so far, and he was hoping that maybe he could make another. He'd liked the experience, so why not try his paw at it again? He wiggled through the crowd before settling down on the ground and eyeing the prospective people.
There were a couple of people who caught his eye, but he was nervous. What if they didn't like him? What if someone took his silence as a bad thing? He pawed at the ground, looked back up, and chose the person who looked like the best option and hesitantly stepped over to greet her. "Hello?" He rarely made noises, so he was hoping that she wouldn't be frightened.

Vanya raised her head and looked at the person in front of her over her glasses. She hadn't been sure he was talking to her, but there he was in front of her, and no one else around. She was confused though, not being able to sense anything from the male and she quickly swallowed the mouthful of food and nodded her head slightly. "Hi." she tried to smile but thought it might just be awkward so she stopped. "I wasn't sure you were talking to me." she added hesitantly. "Most people don't talk to me."
She reached up and brushed her hair back a nervous tick and also to make sure there wasn't anything in it. She spent a good deal of her time hiding in the woods away from everyone, and often forgot to check for leaves and twigs that might have gotten stuck.

He nodded slowly. For a second it had seemed as if she wouldn't respond; it was a relief she had. It would have been so awkward if she hadn't wanted to speak with him. What a terrible start to a conversation that would have been. "Yes, you," he murmured, still nodding slowly. "Castor. You?" Hopefully she wouldn't mind if he didn't speak in full sentences. He had to admire that she had that elusive talent. He could never perfect it.
He pawed at the ground, waiting for her to respond, eyes travelling over the room, looking for something, anything they could talk about. His eyes landed on her food. "Eating?" he asked, pointing at her sandwich with one paw. He'd noticed the way she'd brushed her hand through her hair and stored it away for future use. If anything, it would make for some kind of conversation, yes? If he couldn't think of anything better to say? He was sort of hoping, though, that it wouldn't come to that.

Argent She narrowed her eyes, completely baffled. Why couldn't she sense anything? The lack of emotions was actually starting to make her panic instead of having to sense everything about the other person. Maybe she'd lost her curse? No...there had been a couple people outside and they'd projected plenty. She took a deep breath and realized he'd mentioned his name. "Vanya Hale-Iris." she said quickly hoping she didn't seem rude due to the long pause. "Ah, yes. I was hungry...well of course I was hungry, I'm eating...I just..." she stopped herself. "Did you want one?" she asked stopping herself from saying anything else and instead decided to focus on his rather pretty red eyes. Silver Castor tilted his head to the side. Why did he feel as if she was nervous? He must be overthinking something. He'd done nothing wrong, right? Finally she answered. He breathed a sigh of relief. For a second there, he'd thought he'd blown it already, which would have been a record failure for him. True, he had trouble associating with people, but usually they at least stuck around for a little while. Castor shook his head mournfully. After all, he didn't eat. "Don't eat." He was an AI, and therefore didn't have to. Sometimes he regretted it, though. People seemed to like food, so he supposed he was missing out on something good. Argent "Why not?" she asked. She hadn't ever heard of anyone who didn't eat. Could that be linked to the emotion thing? Well she knew there were people that got emotional about food, maybe overly so. Did not eating make you less emotional? That sounded way to simple, but also impossible, don't eat you starve, you starve you die. Facts of life. She looked down at her sandwich and debated putting it aside just to be polite since he wasn't going to eat, but a gurgle from her stomach nixed that idea and she took another big bite to silence it. "Sorry," she said when her mouth was clear. "I, think it's been a day or two since my last meal." she glanced up at him and then turned away feeling embarrassed. Although that was a shock in and of itself, an emotion that came from her and not from someone else. It was strange. Silver Castor pointed to himself. "An AI." He then waved at the food. "Don't eat." He was hoping she'd be able to string two and two together. He had a penchant of screwing up longer sentences. His tendencies might seem a little strange, but he was a strange noodle, so he could be forgiven that, right? Or, at least, that was what he was hoping. He nodded at the sandwich. "Eat." He contemplated how to get across what he meant to say next. He waved at himself again. "Not won't eat. /Can't/ eat." He smiled. "Don't mind. Eat." Argent Vanya tilted her head slightly. "An AI?" not exactly familiar but she knew what one was. "So...you're not--" she tried to think of a polite way to put it. "Organic." She mulled that over. She'd never been exposed to anyone who wasn't organic before so she had no basis for comparison. "You still have emotions though right? You feel things? Sad, lonely, happy?" Sandwich forgotten for the moment, she needed to understand this more than she needed to eat.

Silver Castor shook his head. "Not organic." The corner of his mouth curled, a playful smile on his face. He was like weird modified food, except a noodle not food. Well, noodles were food, but not-he shook his head. That was enough pondering for the day. "Have emotions," he murmured. Or at least, he thought he did. Did other noodles feel the way he felt often? He didn't have much experience with normal noodles. Perhaps she would tell him. "You feel too?" Argent Vanya gave a wry laugh. "I feel to much. That's the problem." she laughed again this time in a slightly manic way. She felt giddy and that the room was spinning. "You're not organic so I can't feel you!" she giggled again and spun with the room, before suddenly stopping and swaying a bit back and forth. She blinked and swallowed hard. "I...I think I'm going to faint now." she said before slumping forward towards him. Silver Castor tilted his head to the side, his curiosity peaked. "How?" How did a noodle feel /too/ much? Was she special? Did all of the other noodles do this too? Strange . . . "Others?" He stared at her, uncertain of her well being. He was pretty sure this wasn't normal either. She was a bundle of surprises. He narrowed his eyes, still unsure, but bolted forward quickly enough to catch her before she fell. Was she alright? This wasn't normal either, right? What was going on?! Argent A moment later Vanya came too and swallowed a few times before speaking. "What happened? I just remember standing over there and then..." she stopped and shook her head. "You have really nice eyes." she said with a faint smile. She then realized that she was on the floor and he was holding her. "Oh! I'm sorry." She said jerking away and sitting up. Her head spun a bit and she steadied herself. "I'm a rogue empath. I feel what other feel, and I can't control it. I've tried for a long time to block everyone out, but it doesn't work. It drives me crazy. I don't think I've ever felt what I was feeling before and I guess it overwhelmed me." Silver "Fainted." He pointed at her, unsure of her health. "Alright?" He pushed the food she hadn't quite eaten at her with his paw. "Don't know." He wondered where he could find the nearest doctor. Normal noodles went to doctors for their problems, right? He wasn't quite sure how to respond to that, so he made a noncommital sound, blushed and looked away at the crowd of noodles at the shop. One of them would be a doctor, right? To heal her? He shook his head, still a little uneasy. "What feeling?" Argent "I'll be fine. I just need a moment." she watched him and then nodded. "You're embarrassed and I have to read your body language to know that. It's wonderful." she smiled and gestured. "I feel Everyone's feelings, when they're happy, or sad, or angry. I feel it like it was my own personal emotion. Worst is when there are lots of people feeling different ways all at the same time. I can't block it out and I get confused, because I can't figure out how I should be feeling so I just end up feeling all those different ways at the same time. I'm sorry if that doesn't make any sense. I don't know how to explain it better." she picked at the sandwich and took a piece of chicken off and ate it without the bread. Silver Castor was uncertain what to say to that either. "Wonderful?" He thought that over for the second. So that was why she'd passed out. That must be a very confusing way to live. He wondered what it would be like to live that sort of life. Very confusing, clearly. What a strange condition. "You don't feel my emotions?" A long sentence. Confusing. Argent Vanya shook her head. "Nope. I don't pick up anything from you. It's like someone opened a window and let in fresh air. Or...I don't know. It's nice though. I can sort myself out for once." she chuckled and then got up and got something to drink. She took a sip and sighed. "Better." she then looked over at him. "So you now know pretty much everything there is to know about me. What about you? What else is there to you besides being an AI?" Silver He nodded, relieved. At least he wasn't being a burden on her emotions. He was still curious as to why she had passed out, but she looked steadier on her feet, so she seemed better. He nudged the food closer to her, silently suggesting she eat more, as he'd heard organic noodles tended to need things like food to survive or else they passed out. She had said she'd been lacking food. "Strong. Fast. Don't sleep. Control computers." At least, that was what he'd absorbed from his last conversation with his mother. There were still more abilities he was experimenting with. Argent She nodded and took the silent hint and polished off the sandwich. "Must be nice. You seem to have everything that anyone could randomly wish for." she flicked her tail and curled her paws around the glass. "Does it ever get lonely? I mean I know there are lots of AI around, but I assume you're all very different personality wise so may not get along. Or boring maybe? I mean I assume you're always having to find something to do to fill the time that isn't taken up with all the little things that us organics have to do." Silver SilverWolfSun: He shrugged. "Do want food." Which was something he couldn't do. And sleep sounded like a nice phenomenon. He hadn't experience either in his life, but people seemed to like them a lot. Saddly, he did not need these things, and he ran on power alone. "Very lonely." He wasn't sure if he was like the other AIs. He wasn't just an AI, he was pretty sure his mother was an android too. What that entitled, he wasn't sure. Something weird. He'd have to ask his mother the next time he saw her. "Boring too. Not much to do." Without sleep and eating and such, he didn't have too many needs to fill his free time. Usually he spent it fighting or travelling, but he could never find enough things to fill a day. Argent Vanya smiled. "Food is nice. Lots of different things to try." she frowned and considered trying to fill up 24 hours every day with something new to do. "It must be frustrating. Do you have any hobbies though? Art related, or computer related or well anything?" Silver He nodded. Maybe one day he could spend some time trying to simulate the experience of eating/tasting food. "Not really. Fighting." And that was pretty much all he did. He'd never had much patience for the arts, and really he could just control the computer and make it do what he liked-within limits. So usually he spent it on tactical or violent pursuits. He could do it with his siblings too. Argent "Just fighting?" she asked. "Do you compete or is it just something to do?" she wasn't all that much of a fan of violence. To many things going on at once, and usually left her head spinning. "What about video games? I know some of those are fighting based." she considered. "Do you like the strategy part of fighting too or just the actual fighting?" Silver "With siblings." He rarely fought with anyone else. After all, others weren't capable of keeping up with the lot of them. He'd rather not kill people, thank you very much. He shook his head. He preferred real-world fighting to virtual fighting. Unless he could put himself in the game? That sounded interesting. He'd have to look inro ir later. "Both." Argent She nodded and played with the edge of one of her legwarmers. "I see. Maybe you could take up tactical games? There are lots from what I understand. Or make your own. That would definitely be something to do." She smiled and giggled a bit. "I think if I were in your shoes I'd go crazy trying to think of things to do." she shook her head and gave a rueful smile. "And I'm already off my rocker."
