Kyseele is going to be leading an expedition to Kainat to study the mysteries of the island and dig for historical artifacts. I was wondering if anyone else had player characters that would be interested in coming along on this expedition.

Avani wouldn't mind tagging along if started. Not many have been posting where I'm at and kinda bored and feel left out a little. I you do this I wont mind coming if you dont mind.

Cool, that would be great. A ranger is the exactly the kind of person they would recruit to go on this adventure, someone who can figure out the lay of the land. Given your character's background, the sizable pay check she would receive from the Dunia Historical society would assure you wouldn't go hungry for a while. This will also be a good chance to further her personal story as Elementals start to get headaches after spending too much time on the island.

Violet and Iris might tag along if they caught wind of the expedition. They are always up for an adventure, especially when its somewhere they shouldn't go xD
And I feel bad we don't have more people active in the guild. It makes it harder to stay involved. Though we are planning something to bring everyone together soon when we get a few more people to kinda give everyone something to do and maybe make some friends.

Being an assassin, I'm pretty sure she could guide the group through some tough situations.

Cool, cool, that puts at us about 5--hidden or not, having a princess amongst the ranks would be interesting, though Kyseele would treat Iris the same as everyone else. She judges people on their merits regardless of station. She does not do well at fancy parties; royals are usually outside the realm of her operations anyways.
An assassin's skills would be useful for scouting and extra protection. The Island is supposed to be uninhabited, but you never know, eh? Perhaps bandits get word of the highly funded expedition, or kidnappers find out the presence of a princess on it. Also, who knows what might be unearthed on an island characterized by its violent war torn past?
I'm curious, though--several of these characters are in different locations in the world. Do I need to give you all time to gather? I was planning on putting something up either tomorrow or the weekend.

Hmmm, well I guess they should have a place to meet. But yeah, I figure it will take a little bit of time for everyone to gather themselves since they are so spread out.

Ok, I'm thinking everybody can either gather at the port city of Levego or the island of Dunia itself. From there we will sail to Kainat and set up a forward base.

Hmm, actually I have decided. Levego will be the main rally point where Kyseele will be picking up most of the supplies and crew. From there we sail south to Kainat! I'll get a post up this weekend.

I am gone for less than a week and suddenly people are going to go go explore the mysterious island of Kainat without me! Count Iris in~! And who knows, you may meet a mysterious Non-Elemental who just happened to be on the island~ ;]

Alright, this should be fun. This weekend was busier then expected. If people want to start working their way over towards Levego go ahead. I will have my post up by this evening or tomorrow.
As for how people characters would know about this expedition, modest flyers have been posted in most the major cities for several months offering to hire personnel for the voyage. Also Among the scientific and noble circles I imagine there has been a lot of buzz about this expedition and who will be asked to come along as official scholars for Dunia.
So your characters probably either saw the flyer or heard from word to mouth about a well funded expedition hiring people to sail to Kanait and establish a base their. Or, you were officially asked by the Dunia Historica Society to come along as a scholar and researcher for the expedition. Thirdly, you might be a naughty princess who sneaks on board for a bit of adventure. ninja

You can still join in. People are still in the process of arriving at the temporary headquarters in Levego. As long as your character shows up before we leave your free to come along.

Oh, thanks. I'll see if I can make it. I'm gonna be airborne tomorrow morning, but I'll see if I can finish up the bio tonight. My dad is snoring like a bear. As a side note, I really like Kyseele. She's really well-developed already. My (hopefully) new character is a little quirky in opposite ways, so they should butt heads a couple of times. That might be interesting. EDIT: Oh my god it's finally up. I was like "no... it will be bad... you can't upload it..." Yikes. Well, we'll see what they say hah.
