I have a major problem with my joints, muscles, and tendons. My joints are constantly dislocating, so far, both shoulders and both knees are the only joints that dislocate every day multiple times a day. It's not sports or anything like that, but, it can be something like turning around. For example, i was at the store and I started to turn around, and my right knee dislocated. i have a history of muscle reattachment surgeries for my eyes. I've had surgery on my left knee, so thankfully it is no longer dislocating, but, the damage on my left knee was horrible. One of my tendons were completely gone, they had to tighten a few muscles, loosen a tendon, give me a new tendon.... just too many things. I'm afraid to move, as I am not sure if my knee or shoulders will dislocate. My right shoulder is in the worst condition. My right knee is about the same, but is not in constant pain. I stood up and it dislocated. I am really unsure of what I should do. Does anyone know what I should avoid doing and what this might possibly be? I'm going to a Rheumatologist on 3-14-13, and a Geneticist on 4-4-13. I know I could just wait for the doctor's appointments, but I'm curious and worried. Thank you. <3

Oh ouch >< it must be difficult living with constant dislocation. It's not the same thing but I used to pull muscles and tendons very often when I wasn't as physically active. Maybe you could try asking your doctor about exercises you can do to strengthen your muscles? Maintaining a proper diet can also help with speeding up recovery as well. I'm really not an expert in this matter, but I hope that things work out for you. Let us know how it goes smile

I went to the Rheumatologist, they didn't get anything from the blood tests, but they want to see MRI scans to double check any possible arthritis. The Geneticist moved my appointment to the fifth. Luckily, I do not have Lupus. I am not sure, as of yet, what is causing the dislocations and such. I'll be sure to update you guys on anything that has happened or if I have found anything out. Thank you for helping and for suggestions. :'3
