Zephyros Creek

Zephyros Creek is the channel that runs through the forest of Camp Half-Blood and drains into the Long Island Sound. It it a peaceful, quiet creek commonly frequented by many campers. Many fish in the creek as well as swim in it.

Kato showed up with a branch, some string, and a fishing hook he'd made out of bent wire, with some nearby worms as bait, he began fishing. for some reason, he just didn't trust the food here. Something about spontaneous combustion if you ate to much ambrosia didn't sound appetizing. And whatever they served at the dining hall probably wouldn't be fresh.

Kato pulled up a fish, and watched the spear practice. Immediately stopping what he was doing to figure out how to defend against that with a battle axe. Maybe if he hooked it like this... now, she'd just spin and kick him in the face. Maybe if he swept low... No, that'd just make her attack hit the back of his head. "Would you mind meeting me over at the arena once you're ready? I'd like to get in some practice and no one there wants to fight."

Kato left for the arena, keeping his fishing stick stuck in the ground for others to use. "Thanks. No one else seems to realize we're lowest on the food chain the moment we step out of camp." He kept walking, holding his battle axe on his shoulder, and thinking about what to do. (Exit)
