All of a sudden, before the next student could shout something, someone walked in carrying a folder and the whole class fell silent. She completely ignored the class until she had dropped the folder, rather unceremoniously onto the desk, and faced the class. "Hello~ I'm your substitute for the day. My name is, er, well I won't tell you my fist name but you can call me Ms. Novaris." She had a huge grin on her face, it almost looked devious.

Before anyone could say anything she turned around and grabbed a piece of chalk and began writting on the chalk board. She wrote her name in a somewhat sloppy handwriting that was obviously not straight as it started to curve down at the end. She then plopped into the chair behind the desk. "Roll-call time!" She exclaimed as she pulled the folder closer to herself.

"Okay, roll-call is done! Let see, the first lesson iiiiissssss..." Novaris looked back down into the folder. "Ah, math. Skipping for now! Ooooh, Enlgish is always more fun than math!" She quickly read the assignment over and then promptly put it back into the folder. ".... Okay, you're all going to write a short story. It can be about anything you want it to be. But it has to be school appropriate. You all have an hour to write them."

After having instructed the class to write a short story Novaris planned to read the rest of the instructions the usual teacher had left for her. She of course wasn't about to tell the class that she'd been called on short notice and had been in the middle of eating a hyper inducing breakfast.

The students looked at each other, unsure of what this really odd substitute teacher was going to do. All of a sudden a thermostat that they hadn't noticed Novaris carry in floated up from the floor to her hand. She opened it and took a drink before closing it and setting it back on the ground.

"What just happened!?" One of them exclaimed. Novaris was unsure which student said that.

"Well I picked up my thermostat. Or did you not see me lean over and grab it?" She innocently tilted her head to the side. She mentally snickered at how much fun this would turn out to be.

Novaris cracked a huge grin as she read where she left off in the chapter of the fanfic she was reading. Of course it was Bleach. And full of Shinji. She snorted in humor every now and then, trying not to disturb the class. She was fairly certain she was failing.

The students looked at the board and stared for a moment. "Concentrate on mentally picking an object up? What's that going to do for us?" Thomas exclaimed in annoyance. The rest of the students, save one, agreed with him.

"Chop chop! You only have a half an hour to finish the list!" Novaris hadn't even looked up or stopped reading when she had replied. She burst out into a small fit of laughter at what she was reading before she managed to calm down again.

Novaris watched the students out of the corner of her eye. This was pretty amusing to her. Suddenly her phone started ringing. She quickly picked it up and looked at the number. Flipping it open she answered it. "What?" She was silent for a moment. "No, I'm doing what I always do."

"Well then you should have specified that. No, that's not what I said. I said I didn't like coming in on short notice!" Novaris was clearly annoyed with whoever she was talking to. "Okay, you know what, you can call the night before but don't call when you may think I'm eating breakfast. Or lunch. I like some warning first." She snapped the phone closed and went back to her computer. "Good, whatever your name is! Now do the other two tasks."

Novaris jumped when she heard a startled scream and a loud thud. She calmly looked up to find Thomas laughing and Ashin glaring at him, a book at his feet. "No fighting! Or you'll lessen the time you have to complete the tasks." She picked her thermos up and took a drink from it before leaving it on the desk this time. She then decided that it'd be best to watch the class, though she left her laptop open. Almost like she may be waiting for something.

Novaris' face went from pouting to one of annoyance. She quickly grabbed a blank sheet of paper and a black marker and wrote on it. She got up and walked over to the window.

Dephor had his binoculars raised to his eyes. He knew he was far, and well hidden, enough that he wouldn't be seen. He watched as Novaris raised her sloppily written note in the window. "Go back to... Does that say bed? Yes, I do believe that says bed. Go back to bed, sickie-mick-sick-sick." He muttered to himself. "Oh how mature." He sent Novaris another email.

Novaris crumpled up the sign she had been holding to the window when she heard her computer ping. She ran over and gained a smug look on her face when she read the message.
