It was close to midnight and all the stars were shining. The forest was quiet, save for a few crickets chirping, and Zeke had found his favorite sleeping spot. However, his eyes were wide open and alert, an odd phenomenon for the narcoleptic pokemon. Something was keeping him awake, and he couldn't figure out why.

Oh of the troubles of using another living creature as a pillow is that if that creature wanted to move your perfect pillow would be ruined. Koujen was very aware that Zeke was not sleeping. His body was too tense and not the normal loosely plump feel. So now, he himself could not get comfortable himself. He wriggled a bit onto his feet and crawled up onto the larger belly of his friend to look down into Zeke's open eyes, "Can't sleep?" He asked softly smiling down at his similar best buddy.

Zeke grunted and sighed, feeling bad for keeping Koujen awake with him. He nodded but kept staring up towards the sky, his eyes squinting as if he were searching for something.
"Yeah, it's really weird..." He mumbled. "My mind's too busy or something... I don't know why..."
Suddenly, a star shot across the sky and began hurtling itself towards the ground, causing Zeke to gasp. "Aaaaaaaah! The world is ending!" He cried, cowering behind his hands.

Oh no if Zeke's mind was racing so much then surly he was sick. He was never able to not sleep! And he was about to make a comment when he was almost rocked off of his friend. He gasped seeing the scared look cross Zeke's face. "The world?" Unable to tilt his head up on his own Koujen sat back on his rump to look at the sky. He did not see anything wrong with it. "Um...maybe you were seeing things Zeke. Maybe you are a sleep and we don't know it?" He was about to look away when he saw a very strange shooting star that seemed to shoot really low and disapear behind the trees. "A...a star just fell...Zeke...it is in my feild!" He gasped and got off of his friend stumbling to his feet. "Come on!" What if the star burned up 'his' field?

"Naaaah, wait up!" Zeke cried, stumbling after Koujen. He didn't really want to run after the star, especially if the fields caught on fire, but he sure as hell didn't want to be left alone. The pair scurried along through the trees and arrived at the field, only to find that the fields were not on fire, but glowing. "Why do you think it fell, Kou?" Zeke asked, dumbfounded.

Koujen was a bit shocked at just how fast they had gotten to the field. He looked around it prepared to see the whole field destroyed only to sit on his rumble staring at the glow. It was not the glow of a fire but it seemed a bit more glittery of a glow. He shook his head. "I...don't know Ze...why would it fall here?" He asked gently and sucked his trunk a bit into his mouth, the equivalent of him biting his lip. "S..should we go in closer? Maybe we could see why it fell." He looked at his larger friend then rolled onto his feel and started to pad slwoly into the field heading towards the source of the glow. Maybe it was not a really a star.

Zeke nodded and wobbled after Koujen. He stared wide eyed as the glowing grew closer and closer until he could just about peer into the crater before him. Inside, resting in the dirt, was indeed the star he had seen falling from the sky! He gasped and teetered over to it, mesmerized by how beautiful it was.
"Koujen, look at how shiny it is!" He exclaimed, grinning. Then, his stomach started to growl and he chuckled. "Hey, they say the moon is made of cheese! Maybe this star is, too! Do you think we can eat it?"

Koujen gasped as he saw the large crater in the near center of his field. He felt his trunk shake a bit in sadness. What a ruin for his beautiful field. Though maybe with the hole he could lay down and not start sneezing with tickling grass. He watched as Zeke moved forward and looked into it. He wriggled past the grass holding his breath until his popped out into the open air above the hole. "Oh wow...it really was a star!" He looked over it before he turned to look at Zeke's question, "Does it really looking like it would be good to eat? It looks like it would hard to eat...even for you." He giggled and nods, "Oh well if the moon is made of cheese maybe your right and this is edible too. Though it looks like it might have a pretty sharp kick to the flavor." He leaned in closer and gave a cry as the ground gave under him and he tumbled head over rump into the crater.

"Eaaaah! Koujen, are you okay?!" Cried Zeke as he chased after his fallen friend. As he ran, he tripped over his own two feet and tumbled down the crater. He stopped just before he hit the star and wiggled backward, stunned by how bright the object was. However, he reached out for it with his stubby hands and grabbed onto one of it's edges, a dazed look in it's eyes. "Hey, this thing isn't hot! Come feel how rough it is!"

Koujen had a bit of trouble rolling back onto his feet being so round but he finally managed too, "Yes...I am fine...Oh No Ze are you okay?" He asked as he watched his friend nearly plop into the falling star. He had been about to tell his friend not to touch it but it was too late. He gasped as the Drowzzee held onto the edge of the star. He was so bold! "It is rough?" He asked and padded over reaching out with his trunk he placed the end of it on the lower edge of the fallen star. "Oh it is rough!" He said his voice a bit more nasally with his trunk in use.

"I don't think it's made of cheese, though." Zeke deduced, nodding. His eyes began to droop and a rousing yawn escaped his mouth. He blinked, scratched his back and curled onto his side, his hand still limply grasping onto the star. "Mmm, I think I'm going to sleep riiiight here now..." He mumbled, already beginning to snore. "We can head back when it's light out... Ni ni, Kouj."

Koujen felt warmth coming from the star and filling him. It was making him feel full like he had eaten so many dreams and he was sleepy too. He smiled, "It is nice and warm with this nice light the star is giving us." He shifted to move his side to stroke and touch the star so he could lay his head against Zeke. "Maybe we should make this our home now." he said sleepily and nuzzled close to the warm star and his friend and allowed sleep to take him. "Night Ze."
