User ImagePerched not far off the ground Blade Ion eyes the very bright green stallion appear bellow. Squinting his eyes he takes note of the spikes and very dangerous tail and thinks it best to stay where he is, besides Blade wasn't much for company anyhow.

Almost the opposite Uriel trots onto the scene, basking up the daylights rays and warmth of approaching spring. He had no quarrels for any of the sessions but most definitely preferred the changing colours of leafs and the passing of the cold chilly afternoons. Spotting the green stallion and having aparently no fear or discrimination to appearences he proceeded forward and called his greeting "Good day! Does it not warm the soul to be out and enjoying such blessings from nature."

The sun had greeted Pythius with a rather rude eyeful of light, blinding him for a moment. He closed his eyes and shook his head, tail tip lashing a bit in aggravation. Once the pain left he slowly opened them again, averting his gaze from the sun's intensity. When he did he noticed a lyra stallion walking his way and calling out to him. Odd...he didn't usually get such greetings from non-herd members. The greeting itself sounded strange to him, he wasn't sure he'd ever heard anyone talk quite like that before. He couldn't say he cared for it, honestly, though he supposed it did fit this pretty boy stallion's demeanor. "...yes, I suppose so." Pythius couldn't help but give the other an odd look, head tilted to the side and brows furrowed in a "What the fu-?" type of expression.

Rolling his eyes Blade kept his station in the tree, what a douche, did this prissy boy stallion know how he sounded. He's met the like before like most kinds, he didn't get on with most... didn't want to but he really had no desire to join some a chirpy conversation. He was interested to watch the other though, with such weapons at easy use would he use them against the goody toe shoes male or... Blade didn't really know the or... so he'd watch and find out.

Being of such a up beat manner Uriel rarely noticed or took note when his presence was not wanted. Each day was a blessing and opportunity to meet another and share in each others company to rejoice in ways that may not be possible alone. As such he continued to share the same area as the other, ignoring the look and instead smiling "I am Uriel, Such endless possibilities with such a day. What is it you plans do you with yours?"

The bright green dragon's expression remained unchanged. Who did this guy think he was? Pythius was sure he'd never met another as...cheery as this. It was starting to grate on his nerves a bit. The solara didn't feel the need to introduce himself, mostly because he didn't really want Uriel to know his name. "What does it matter to you what I do with my day?"

"I apologizes I'm intruding on your privacy, I simply seek to share company to further enjoy whatever the day brings." The stallion was still smiling, his eyes bright and just about as welcoming and calm as they come.

Pythius closed his eyes and sighed. "I don't care if you hang around me or not, but the first order of the day is to hunt and find food. After that I'm going to work on trying to breath fire." If he understood correctly it was going to be a long while to do anything but blow smoke, but he'd never get anywhere if he didn't practice. The dragon opened his eyes again. "Why? What are your plans?"

Uriel listened and mentally jotted down a number of points in the others sentence, he was a simple horse a lyra due to his ability to fly yes but his diet consisted of grass and fruit. What could the other require hunting for? And the breathing fire aspect intrigued Uriel to no end, he'd never heard of such a thing! But then the world was full of surprises, perhaps today his purpose was to learn of these things and he had no quarrel with that. "Fascinating! You require a hunt to find food, this is a new concept to me, and to breath fire, are such things possible? Oh nonsense silly me, of course such things are possible! It seems my day shall be filled with new experiences, to learn of the way of another." Again he smiled, it would probably be a slightly different expression when it actually came to observing a hunt however.

Coming from the exit tunnels of their herd territory Oribelle readied her wings to start a hunt of her own. The dragoness had fully grown now and as such had joined the other females regularly in the hunt to feed their expanding herd, today however the usual hunt leader, Tiamat, had an important meeting with the other royals and higher ups of their herd. Belle didn't mind, she enjoyed the hunt and the stretch of wings, today was a day without the family, oh what would she do with herself? As her pace increased she found her gaze fall upon the two stallions and slow, her breath rapid as she identified the green stallion "Pythius?"

"What...?" Pythius didn't exactly get out much to meet others so the discovery that someone in the world didn't about either of those two things blew his mind. Why wouldn't they be possible, least of all for him? He was a bleedin' dragon. Breathing fire was kinda their thing. Or rather...blowing smoke, or barring that a lot of hot air. He was starting to feel like he was going to regret not telling Uriel to buzz off. The green solara took in a deep breath and let it out slowly, shaking his head at the other. His ears flicked instinctively at the sound of hooves on rock from within the tunnel and he turned to see who t was. "Morning Oribelle." He greeted simply. "On your way to hunt?"

Subconsciously her gaze had fallen on the stranger and her eyes had narrowed, suspicious of his being near their herd. Then she mentally scolded herself, it was a complex system of tunnels hidden at the base of a mountain to ever get there she didn't know this other and should of known better than to eye him as a threat. Nodding to Pythius she did however keep her gaze on the other when she replied "Morning, this a friend of yours?" Then shifted her sight to the fellow dragon "Yes, busy day in the herd, have to make our own way today" She smiled at ease with another dragon, her exposure to anything other than their kind however left her a little uncomfortable. Which was silly when her mother and Tia had drilled into her that everyone deserved a chance, she wasn't better than this stranger.

Watching the exchange Uriel stood patient, happy to just observe the interaction and be in company. He waited for the new mare to make reference to him before stepping forward and bowing his head "Uriel Ma'am, pardon my saying so but I have not come across a scaled star such as yourself before!"

"Oh gods no." The words had escaped his maw before he had time to think. That seemed like a rude thing to say with Uriel still present, but too late now. He glanced at the white lyra. "I've only just met him." Pythius could tell she didn't exactly know what to think of the non-dragon's presence, but after a moment she seemed to soften. The green beast wasn't entirely sure what he was doing all the way out here either, but he didn't really care either way. Their herd was protected by a labyrinth of caves, it would be pure luck that he found his way to them. Then again, that entirely depended on just how much luck the fellow had. He eyed Uriel again as he spoke up to introduce himself. "I believe he was going to observe me today. Seems he's never seen a hunt." At that he looked at the dragonness with a toothy grin. "I think that would be an interesting experience for him to see."

Raising a brow at the green dragon at his burst she still held her smile, as if understanding his outburst but not entirely approving of it. Then she blinked to him and Uriel "Really now? How interesting indeed, does our new friend know the things we hunt exactly?" She felt a snide grin appearing on her face she shouldn't but this was an entirely funny situation. From what she knew most others of the world didn't consume other animals, their diets consisting of simple herbivore substances. The idea confused her, how could one go without the satisfaction she and the other dragons got from meat and blood! Approaching the non dragon she lowered her wings, it wouldn't be fair for him to join us and hurl would it? Plus it would jeopardize an otherwise successful hunt... she had to be sure he was aware what was involved. "See we dragons don't consume plant substances generally, we must hunt other things with meat on bone. Nothing else will sate our hungers." She let her face shift so almost a pout, like they where the victims for having to hunt and take the life's of lesser creatures to live.

Uriel found his expression to shift to that of confusion. He was interested in learning of how they differ from other stars but as the mare went on he found the idea not entirely what he'd like to witness. "Oribelle was it not? I see... I would not suppose consent is gained from what you hunt?" He looked between the two... dragons, that was a new one too! "Dragon however, I have heard of myths of such kinds but to meet face to face is an honour." He bowed at the two, giving himself enough time to regain his composure.

Does he...? Pythius hadn't thought about it. I mean, what's there to think about? Hunting seemed like...well...hunting. He figured everyone knew what hunting entailed. It's a good thing Oribelle asked. Once again the bright green dragon looked at the lyra with a "How could you not know?" expression. He was aware that it wasn't exactly normal for horses to be carnivorous, but they were also dragons, and they weren't even the only meat eating horses around if he recalled. Besides, one didn't have to eat meat to know what hunting was, or so he thought. At Uriel's question his expression changed to a more obvious 'WHAT IN THE WORLD DO YOU THINK?' "Not very many things say 'I would be honored if you ate me!' If there were we wouldn't have to hunt." Pythius gave a small huff and looked to the dragonness again as if to say "Can you believe this guy?!" while he bowed to them.

Giving Pythius a quick twitch of her eye that couldn't quite express her discomfort with the situation but hopefully helped to soften his mood. It's not that she was a mean spirited dragoness she just didn't want to get judged and have their morning hunt mucked up because this Uriel didn't understand what they only physically had to do but she too enjoyed participating in. It was an entirely nature process for her and Tiamat had explained how it was acceptable by natures because there was a food chain, and they were at the top. This meant they had little choice but to hunt and there was no shame in turning a necessity into a pleasurable experience. "Indeed it is, and no not usually." She smiled a entirely too toothy grin at the stranger. " Thank you Uriel, we are, as you can see, not myths but I've heard our numbers are drastically reduced in this world. If you are to join us then please keep distance, you would not wish to keep company with two hungry dragons." Was that too harsh, a threat even? No. She told herself it was simply a request coming from someone experienced in the field.

Keeping his attention on the dragoness he missed Pythius blatant expressions, or chose not to acknowledge them simply keeping his smile steady and inviting. "I see, and I understand I promise to keep distance and simply observe, thank you both this is truly an honour. Perhaps later we could discuss more about your kind? As you speak of this world as an alternative, I am fascinated to hear of another world!" Shifting his footing he looked eager and ready to follow, looking between them for an answer or a movement for him to trail behind.

Why was her eye twitching? Was it something he said? It was probably something he said, it usually is. He was a mix of disappointment and relief when Uriel didn't react to him; part of him wanted the other to see and part of him didn't, but that seemed to be his eternal struggle, straddling the fence on wanting to not be afraid of saying things most wouldn't simply for niceties and not wanting to offend. Really though, if he did offend someone that wasn't part of the herd what would he lose? A potential friend? Psh. Something the white stallion said though caught his attention and he gave him a curious look, another "You don't know?" only much less offensive and genuinely surprised and curious. "Don't you know the stories...? Or did they tell you different ones?" Alright, now he was the curious one, which was a very rare thing to say the least.

The mostly white stallion hadn't a clue what to expect but he was eager to find out and put words to images in his mind. With his gaze on the male he lowered his head slightly before meeting his eyes "I have heard stories of great dragons, some speak of destruction others of how it brings luck. But those are but stories, to have the opportunity to hear from the source themselves is an invaluable chance."

"Once our hunger is sated I would take pleasure in answering your questions" Now that it was time to go and hunt she felt in better spirits. From the day she took first flight she knew she'd spend any time she could up among the clouds. Her mother had spoken of how she had been one of the best fliers when she was growing and Oribelle fully intended to follow in her mothers hoof steps. Looking between the males she looked out and flexed her wings "We'll take to the skies, target our prey and then I want silence when we dive, understood? Let's go, we wouldn't want the rumbles of our stomachs to scare away our breakfast." Chuckling she began a charged run, a few steps was all it took before she was in the sky and the breeze under her wings carried most of her weight. It was with ease she glided her eyes beginning to search before even considering to look round for the males.

Uriel refrained from another comment, he had received the message, they were hungry and idle chit chat wouldn't achieve anything until they had hunted. As the female began to charge he followed, slower and with a longer run up but was in the air with a well practised grace though probably already lagging behind the dragons. When he flew it was for pleasure, recreation or requirement to travel, these two would no doubly have more experience and time in the sky regardless of any age gap.

Up above in the tree's Blade still stood, he had no desire to get involved but had found the exchange fascinating. How the white stallion hadn't ended up breakfast he hadn't known, it was almost a little disappointing. Did that make him mean? Yes... yes it did, but no one could see into his mind. Not even the blasted yellow bird of his kind that travelled with him. For that he was thankful, his thoughts were still his own. Watching as the three left he shrugged and shifted his limbs on the branches, moving after staying idle during the others meeting.
