Writing is an art, a passion. Your soul is ever apparent in your words, as they flow from your body, heart and mind. It is a means of communication, a means of work, and a means of play. This contest is in celebration of an age old art.
What better time to practice our writing than at the same time as the great RP revival. Some of us are seasoned writers and some of us are just learning our strengths and weaknesses. You can't go wrong with practice. Through the evolution of technology and time we utilize this form of communication less and less, and our words dwindle to text speak and abbreviations. No more!
There are four parts to the contest that you may take part in, but choose wisely for you may only enter one. When entering this contest make a post claiming which class you will participate in BEFORE your start. Then proceed to follow the directions of your instructor. School is in session, let's begin!

Class is in session. This is writing cram school. You know why you are here! In order to be classified as a master writer your going to have to pass your class. I'm your teacher, Agumon Hakase and today we are studying ancient world texts.
Boring, boring, boring, Thought PunkAgumon. He was only here because he was made to. This was worse than detention. But, he would make the most of it. While the rest of the class worked on their ancient writing he would take out his technicolor markers and go to work. PunkAgumon loved graffiti and his plan was to show Agumon Hakase what real writing was.
PunkAgumon needs your help! Draw the word DIGIMON in a unique way, portraying it in a graffiti like style with vibrant colors to match to inspire the young digimon. You may use traditional or digital art. The most unique design wins! Post your submission here so that everyone can see it. You have one week to complete your design.

Roleplay, games and writing. It is a sport, an art, a leisurely activity. Wizardmon knows all too well how great roleplaying can be. He doesn't like how bogged down the classes of Agumon Hakase, Taomon, and Wisemon are. Instead he prefers to keep it fun and relaxed. Everyone in this class has fun. To begin are the basics. You need to know the rules in order to succeed at roleplaying. Only then may you directly challenge Wizardmon himself.
First find the rules for RP in the guild and send the link to them to me in a PM. Then you will be given an RP scenario in which you must use your writing skills to roleplay out of. Roleplay post must be at least 3 paragraphs with five sentences in each paragraph. The first to complete both parts is the winner!

Her words come from the heart, all emotion released as rhyme, rhythm, and verse. It's time to follow Taomon's example with a paint brush and create your most beautiful work of art. Rhymes, rhythm, and verse are the key. Let your soul spill out through your writing by creating the best poem.
The theme of the poems for this class is Digimon. First randomize a number between 3 and 20, whatever you get is the number of lines your poem needs to be. Theme relevancy and word choice is key! Have the best poem at the end of the week and you are the winner!

The legendary Professor Wisemon leads the last of the classes, and as expected its the most difficult. He teaches essays, and hes a hard grader. Taking this class and passing sets you apart from the rest and gains you the respect of Wisemon himself. Only one can pass, taking this class has great risk but an even greater reward.
Show Wisemon your passion when it comes to writing. The longer the better, the more your words dance across the paper. He's looking for passion, detail, and credibility above all else. Write an essay about if you think: Writing style roleplay is beneficial to the creative mind. You may either take an affirmative or negative approach to the question and you must have a; Title, Beginning, Three Body Paragraphs, and a Conclusion. Each paragraph must be five sentences or more and each body paragraph must have at least one external source that supports your side of the argument. Have the best essay at the end of the time limit and you win!
