Okay, my senior prom is coming up in a few months and I really want a black and white dress that will be different from everyone else. I am the only semi-lolita in my school, so I thought it would be awesome to wear a Loli-styled dress. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to where I could find one or maybe a specific dress I could get?

I want to do that same for my Senior ball. I was hoping more for black and blue. Anyways, I was thinking a strapless corset(or with straps) And have Lace from the top of the corset has sleeves, and covers up to my neck. But I got no ideas about the bottom. So I will also be checking this thread for ideas also if you don't mind! heart

I feel any actual Lolita dress would work. 3nodding ninja Maybe something silk or taffeta? biggrin I'll try to find some pictures later. (i'm at school right now)

I want a lolita dress too. I was thinking about buying a dress from Baby the Stars Shine Bright for prom, but they're too short. I would really like a full length dress. t.t If you'd like to browse, here's the link. I thought the jumper skirts would make nice prom dresses. Riyuuki, I really like the third row, second dress over under Jumper Skirts. I would wear that day to day xd I am kind of wanting something long though. I was inspired by the Rejected Materials Movement, if that says anything blaugh I also kind of like the corset idea. I don't know...I found a dress I sort of liked last night, but my computer shut down on me and I haven't been able to find it again. It was a halter/corset type dress, though, and it didn't have so much of the babydoll feel as I wanted.

I feel the same way though! If they were floor length I'd buy them without a second thought... I want a corset type dress as well. Metamorphose does have some pretty prom type dresses. I like the dress with the corsage a lot. =] The dresses from Victorian Maiden are absolutely gorgeous, but that company doesn't ship overseas. gonk

I actually looked at the dresses on Metamorphose. I like the one with the chains, but it seems too much like something I'd wear everyday sweatdrop I actually found one I may get, even though it's short. Elektrik MistressI really like the way it looks, with the neck corset and everything. I know it sounds really dorky, but the reason I'm looking at black and white so much is that my date and I have decided that we're going to carry/wear masquerade masks fashioned to look like penguins. I'm obsessed with the lovely little birds heart I'd love to find something that could really go with that. *EDIT* Oh, and here's the halter dress I had originally found. Halter

Halter I like the elektrik dress more for the Penguin idea. 4laugh The other reminds me more Zebra than penguins. 3nodding It's a very nice dress. It sounds like it's made of some nice fabric too. It says in the elektrik dress can be changed to your options. I think maybe with a longer skirt might look more penguin. You know, like how they wear suits 4laugh It's just a suggestion.
