Kota dislikes bringing up the past as he feels its intruding in someone's life and refuses to do so without permission. It has become painfully obvious that despite the strict teachings of the Hyuga, children such as Kota can indeed be born with their own special personality.

Personal Skill:
As a member of the Hyūga clan, Kota specializes in close-range, taijutsu combat. In battle, Kota has shown tremendous agility and dexterity, capable of simultaneously dodging and striking an opponent with no wasted movement. His attacks are fast and fluid, precisely striking in rapid succession to leave very little time for his opponent to find an opening to counter. However, what separates Kota from most is his ability to analyze an opponent's fighting style after exchanging a few blows with them, as well as his ability to come up with ways to block a person's more preferred method of fighting.

Kekkei Genkai:
The Byakugan (白眼; Literally meaning "White Eye", Meaning 'All Seeing White Eye') is the dōjutsu kekkei genkai of the Hyūga clan. It is one of the Three Great Dōjutsu, along with the Sharingan and the Rinnegan. Those who inherit the blood of this clan have almost featureless, white eyes. When the Byakugan is activated, the user's pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge. It also appears that unlike the other two great dōjutsu, all members of the clan possess, and can use the kekkei genkai from birth, as opposed to needing to awaken or else, not inheriting it at all.
Particularly skilled users of the Byakugan can take the Gentle Fist style one step further. Along the keirakurei are 361 pinprick-sized nodes called tenketsu, or chakra points, which only the more skilled users can see. When struck, the Byakugan user can choose to either seal, or forcibly open these tenketsu, thus giving the user complete control over their opponent's chakra system. So, with precision, all those points along the victim's body can be sealed, stopping the chakra flow to those areas. Able to strike without force, and yet do more damage to a ninja than some of the most powerful ninjutsu, the Gentle Fist has been labelled as the greatest taijutsu style known in all of Konohagakure. Constantly using the Byakugan over a very long period of time causes severe eye strain, in which the user can not differentiate certain objects or people. However, these effects are not long lasting.
- The primary ability of the Byakugan gives the user a near 360º field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of the neck above the first thoracic vertebra. Upon activation of the dōjutsu, the wielder is granted an automatic 50 meter field of vision around themselves which can then be extended at their discretion.
The second ability is being able to see through solid objects, as well as some degree of telescopic sight. It can also see through most barriers, and other things such as smokescreens, differentiate between non-corporeal clones and can see through techniques that would otherwise hide an opponent from normal sight. The distance and the degree of telescopic sight varies from person to person, and can be improved through training.Kota's visual range goes up to at least 800 meters. However, the Byakugan cannot see through certain barriers, such as the Four Black Fog Battle Formation used by the Sound Four.
The third and one of the greatest uses of the Byakugan is the ability to see chakra, chakra flow, the chakra circulation system inside the body with great detail as well as the color of chakra. It is from this particular ability that the Hyūga Clan are able to employ their ultimate attack style: Gentle Fist. Unlike the Strong Fist, which is focused on external injuries, the Gentle Fist style focuses on internal injuries. Each strike, when placed correctly, strikes along the chakra pathway system, which is the network of vessels that carry chakra. This network is closely intertwined with the functioning of the body's organs, and so, when the keirakukei take damage, the organs suffer as well. There is no defense against the Gentle Fist, since one cannot train one's internal organs to become stronger. The only possible defense is to stop the Gentle Fist's hits from connecting. Like the Sharingan and Rinnegan, the Byakugan's ability to see chakra and its flow allows the user to detect chakra sealed barriers as well as determine when genjutsu is being used. It has been shown that the Byakugan can also discern a transformation, and a real person using the eye's ability to see chakra.
Control: Great Control
Background: While not much is known of the clan's background, they are considered to be one of, if not currently, the most powerful clans in Konohagakure. Their notoriety and prowess stretches far and wide, leading others to both praise and covet their abilities. During the Fourth Shinobi World War, a Kumo-nin noted that they had a hard time against them during a previous war. The clan is separated into two parts, the main house (宗家, Sōke) and the branch house (分家, Bunke), a system that protects the secrets of the Byakugan from outsiders. The main house runs the family while the branch house protects it. The members of the branch house are branded with a cursed seal upon the third birthday of the heir to the main house. This seal gives the main house members absolute control over the branch members, because they can destroy the branch members' brain cells with a simple hand seal, or cause them great pain to punish them. This seal also makes sure the secret of the Hyūga's Byakugan is safe, because it seals the Byakugan after the wearer of the seal dies. Because they are essentially servants, simply because of their birth order or heritage, some branch house members are hostile to those of the main house. In the past, there have been several attempts on the part of Kumogakure to acquire the dōjutsu of this clan. This even culminated in the death of the would-be-thief: the Head Ninja of Kumogakure and the demands of Hiashi's corpse who had killed him according to the stipulations in the peace treaty that the two villages had signed. Ultimately, Hizashi was the one to sacrifice his life for the village and clan, sealing away his Byakugan as he died and avoiding war. This event would become known as the Hyūga Affair.

Kekkei Genkai Techniques:
Gentle Fist (B)
The Gentle Fist (柔拳, Jūken) or Gentle Fist Art (柔拳法, Jūkenpō) is a form of hand-to-hand combat used by members of the Hyūga clan. It inflicts internal damage through attacking the body's Chakra Pathway System, subsequently injuring organs which are closely intertwined with the area of the network which has been struck. To do this, the user surgically injects a certain amount of their own chakra into the opponent's chakra pathway system, causing damage to surrounding organs due to their proximity to the chakra circulatory system. Even the slightest tap can cause severe internal damage, hence the name "gentle" fist.
- Palm Bottom (D)
This attack consists of a quick, precise thrust of the users' palm to an opponent's body. Like other Gentle Fist techniques, it sends chakra into the target to cause internal damage which will temporarily paralyze an opponent.
Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm (B)
This technique is similar in practice to Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven, but has a specific target rather than a general area. To perform it, the user precisely pinpoints the enemy's vital points with the Byakugan and releases a high-speed palm thrust. A "vacuum shell" compressed using the Gentle Fist is formed to attack the opponent's vitals from a distance, blowing them off their feet with tremendous force before they even notice they were hit.
Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms (C)
The Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms technique is a maneuver of the Gentle Fist fighting style. It is essentially a halved version of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms, but seems to be no less effective. This technique is used to close off the flow of chakra through thirty-two chakra points of an opponent's Chakra Pathway System. This eliminates their ability to use chakra for quite some time and makes it difficult for them to move.
Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms (B)
The Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms is a taijutsu that should only be passed down in the main house of the Hyūga. It is a dangerous technique that is appropriately handed down from father to only a single child within the Hyūga clan. It is a maneuver of the Gentle Fist fighting style. With the Byakugan's near 360° field of vision, the user envisions an Eight Trigrams circle. Then the enemy within this circle is hit with a series of violent blows. By striking sixty-four of the tenketsu throughout the opponent's Chakra Pathway System, their chakra flow is stopped, making them unable to even stand. Once someone is within range of the user's field of divination, the user assumes a Gentle Fist stance and begins to deliver the attack
Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms (A)
The Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms is a maneuver of the Gentle Fist fighting style. It is essentially a doubled version of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms performed at twice the speed. This technique is used to close off the flow of chakra through one hundred and twenty-eight chakra points of an opponent's Chakra Pathway System. This eliminates their ability to use chakra for quite some time and makes it difficult for them to move. Alternatively, it can be used to hit a great number of targets very quickly.
Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven (A)
A secret taijutsu that is orally handed down only within the main house of the Hyūga, this technique utilities the chakra control gained through Gentle Fist training to release a huge amount of chakra from all the chakra points on the user's body. It is also a defensive maneuver to compensate for the Byakugan's blind spot as the released chakra blocks any possible attack on the user. After releasing chakra from every tenketsu in their body, the user then spins rapidly to parry the attack, both creating a rotating shield of chakra around themselves and tossing away any nearby attackers. The user can also actively control the size and power of the sphere to suit the situation. This technique is only effective when rotating, since the chakra itself is not enough to stop a physical attack thus if they cannot spin, the user becomes vulnerable.
Custom Clan Techniques
- Eight Trigrams Shutdown (S)
By concentrating all of the chakra in his body into his hands, he slams both palms into the targets chest where the heart located. His chakra then surges into the opponent's chakra network at a rapid pace. The overflow of chakra causes the opponent to fall to the ground unconscious as the chakra slowly tries to even itself out. However, because he uses all of the chakra in his body, Kota also falls to the ground. Those hit by this technique loose the ability to do any chakra related techniques for a total of three posts and Kota looses the ability to do chakra related abilities for five post. This can also only be used once every seven posts.
Eight Trigrams Divine Shower (B)
The second modification of the Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven. In this variation, Kota spins and does everything that is done in the parent jutsu. However, it now becomes both an offensive and defensive technique. As Kota spins, his chakra shoot outwards in all directions of the dome in the form of small needles. These chakra needles are able to pierce skin, and with enough of them, break rocks.
Eight Trigrams Elemental Rotation (S)
After releasing chakra from every tenketsu in his body, Kota spins rapidly to parry the attack, both creating a rotating shield of chakra around himself and tossing away any nearby attackers. Kota can also actively control the size and power of the sphere to suit the situation. This technique is only effective when rotating, since the chakra itself is not enough to stop a physical attack thus if they cannot spin, the user becomes vulnerable. What separates this jutsu from its parent technique, is the addition of either of his chakra elements. When applying his Wind Element, the sphere emits cutting winds each time he completes a full rotation, and when applying his Lightning Element, a wave of electricity is sent outwards. Both elements are sent outwards in an omnidirectional blast.
Lightning Style: Electric Fist (A)
The Lightning Style: Electric Fist is a taijutsu style created by Kota months after creating the Gale Fist. While once again taking the aspect of the Gentle Fist, Kota has learned to incorporate his Lightning Style into that of his physical strikes. This style of fighting both attacks the internal portion of the body, and simultaneously use the nature of lightning to redirect the electrical waves within the body.
- Electric Palm Bottom (D)
This attack consists of a quick, precise thrust of the users' palm to an opponent's body. Like other Gentle Fist techniques, it sends chakra into the target to cause internal damage which will temporarily paralyze an opponent. However, with this improvement, volts of electricity are sent into an opponent's body sending a subtle shock to them.
Electric One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms (A)
The Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms is a maneuver of the Gentle Fist fighting style. It is essentially a doubled version of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms performed at twice the speed. This technique is used to close off the flow of chakra through one hundred and twenty-eight chakra points of an opponent's Chakra Pathway System. This eliminates their ability to use chakra for quite some time and makes it difficult for them to move. With every connected strike, the electrical pattern sent from the brain around the body is redirected and then sent to another part of the body. As such, when the technique ends, the opponent will find that along with loosing the ability to use chakra, their body will not respond in the right way. The target's body will move in anyway, save for the way they want it to move.
Wind Style: Gale Fist (A)
The Wind Style: Gale Fist, is a taijutsu style created by Kota to better himself in battle. While taking the aspect of the Gentle Fist that causes internal damage, Kota combined his own chakra element to make a taijutsu style that would target both the internal and external parts of the body. Through incorporating his Wind Element into his Taijutsu his physical reach, though limited, is greatly enhanced. This unique fighting style allows him to swing at someone and release concussive blasts of wind from the palm of his hands which contain very high cutting abilities.
- Gale Palm Bottom (C)
This attack consists of a quick, precise thrust of the users' palm to an opponent's body. Like other Gentle Fist techniques, it sends chakra into the target to cause internal damage which will temporarily paralyze an opponent. However, with this improvement, cutting winds are also slammed into an opponents body, which generally rips the clothing to shreds surrounding the area that's been hit.
Gale Force (A)
This attack works by slamming his palm directly into the chest area of an opponent. Once contact has been made, internally, their chakra system will clog up for a moment due to the increase of chakra in one area. Externally, the clothing on their back will be ripped off in the size of a hand print while visible cuts can be seen from the wind being forced out of the back.
Ninjutsu:
- Kai - Release (C)
Kai is a Ninjutsu which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed hand seals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.
Kawarimi no Jutsu - Change of Body Stance Technique ~ E Rank
Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack.

Henge no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents.

Nawanuke no Jutsu is a very basic Ninjutsu that allows a ninja to escape from rope binds.
Kinobori no Waza - Act of Tree Climbing ~ E Rank
Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed.
Suimen Hokou no Waza - Act of Water Surface Walking ~ E Rank
A variation on the Kinobori no Waza (Act of Tree Climbing), the art of water surface walking allows a ninja to walk on water as if it was a solid surface. Focusing an even amount of chakra out of the soles of their feet, they can balance themselves on the very surface of the water.

Background:
In this era of peace, Endou Hyuga never believed that love would find him, but when it did, he was completely unprepared.
This love appeared in the form of Kyoko Hyuga. A female Hyuga whose talents and abilities rivaled that of Endou himself. Immediately falling for each other, the two settled down together. In nine months time, Kyoko conceived a child. This child was named Kota which stood for Happiness and Good Fortune. While Kota grew up, he began to practice his Byakugan abilities at the age of four. Sparring sessions against his father took place, as Endou had high hopes that his child would surpass him. Visual tests, physical tests, and mental test were administered to Kota on a daily basis. As his namesake foretold, good fortune came his way, and when members of the clan prepared to speak badly on the boy because of his hair color, the clan elders silenced them immediately. Immediately Endou smiled at this and thanked his uncle before proceeding with Kota's training.
At the age of five Kota inadvertently created the Eight Trigrams Shutdown and used it on his father. When his father collapsed unable to wake up he immediately he ran to find his mother. Unfortunately, due to the loos of chakra, he fell to the ground unconscious as well. After the members of the Hyuga Clan assembled, one of the other members looked at his Chakra Pathway System. It was revealed that Endou's chakra system had been flooded. Looking at Kota's body it was revealed that all the chakra in his body had been depleted and that it would take time to return. The elders then deemed that Kota was truly gifted to have created such a technique.
Taking this into consideration now, the elders organized for multiple Hyuga clan members to help Endou's with training Kota. Learning the techniques of the Hyuga Clan came easy to Kota, but he was fighting around six to eight Hyuga clan members each, including Endou. As such, when the battles ended, he had normally sustained various wounds and injuries. Kyoko disapproved of this training method, but as her son improved she tried to cope with the damage being done to her son. Entering the academy, the years went by quickly before he graduated and became a Genin. It was only a little after his promotion to Genin that he had learned to incorporate his natural chakra elements into that of the Gentle Fist fighting style. The Chunin Exams arrived and he participated as one of the youngest members and somehow managed to pass.
