Personality/Mannerism: Kaede seems extremely distant when spoken to or observed, however, this is not without reason. In his past, he was separated from his family, and was forced to live life on his own. Due to this, he has become extremely individualistic. This trait is not a poor one, as Kaede is very intellectual, however it often sets him apart from everyone else who might cross paths with him.
Amongst these traits, Kaede lived a childhood of being shunned or cast aside due to his mental disorders. He adopted Dissociative Identity Disorder [Multiple Personality Disorder] after some time, as well as being born into the world with Bipolarity Disorder.
Kaede has come to the point where he majorly relies on himself, which can be a setback, though he believes that if a task is not in his ability, then he is not disciplined enough to be upholding such a task. Because of this, he pushes himself very much.
When others are speaking to Kaede, he often appears detached. His responses tend to range from very short, however to the point, or very lengthy. This changes depending on his mood.
Facial Features: Kaede's face is generally slim, and looks very much feminine. His cheek bones and chin, however, are not extremely defined. The remainder of his facial features are decently to moderately defined.
Physique: Kaede appears to be feminine upon first [and even multiple] glance. Despite this, he is decently slender- but that is because he is. This is merely because of his very high metabolism and the training that he undertakes in his own free time.

The Hyōton: Tsubame Fubuki technique creates a cluster of ice needles in the shape of miniature swallows out of pre-existing ice, which the user then throws at the opponent. These needles can change direction in midair and will maim the opponent with their sharp wings.

The abominable and tremendous ability, passed down only within the Yuki Clan. It is a technique wrapped up in many mysteries. It was said that no method in existence can defeat this technique. In an instant, multiple mirrors of ice are created around the enemy, reflecting nothing but the user. The opponent is trapped in a dome of twenty-one floating mirrors made out of ice. Twelve remain at ground level, eight float above the first twelve and angled toward the ground, and the final mirror is above the rest and facing the ground. Once the user has entered the mirrors, it's possible for him to move between the mirrors at the speed of light. It's near impossible to follow attacks sent out from this incredible movement. As every mirror shows his reflection, one could say it's impossible to see all of the user's attacks. Even if the opponent tries to attack the real body, the user will have already moved to another mirror. Without eyes like the Byakugan, it will be impossible to keep track of them.

Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack.

• Kinobori no Waza - Act of Tree Climbing ~ E Rank
Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed.

A variation on the Kinobori no Waza (Act of Tree Climbing), the art of water surface walking allows a ninja to walk on water as if it was a solid surface. Focusing an even amount of chakra out of the soles of their feet, they can balance themselves on the very surface of the water.
• Kirigakure no Jutsu [Hiding in Mist Technique] ~ D Rank
The Kirigakure no Jutsu is a speciality of the ninja from Kirigakure village, where one causes a mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
• Suiton: Amesuikōha [Water Release: Rain Water Shark Wave] ~ C Rank
In Suiton: Amesuikōha, the user slams their palm onto a nearby water surface, sending a large surge of water into the air. This water then forms into a number of water sharks, which then rush towards the target from above. Should these sharks be attacked, the water that composes them simply reforms into countless droplet-sized sharks, which continue to rain down upon the target and inflict damage whenever they come into contact with them.

Fūton: Reppūshō is a simple technique that, when the users hands are clapped together, wind is compressed and transformed into a powerful gale. This technique, when used as an isolated attack has the power to easily knock over a human. Though the true value comes from using it together with projectile weapons like shuriken or kunai. Their speed, power, and ability to wound or even kill are all increased several times.

In Fūton: Kamikaze, the user releases a gust of wind that forms several small tornadoes.
• Mizu Tatsumaki [Tornado of Water] ~ C Rank
In the Mizu Tatsumaki technique, the user utilizes water to create a spinning water vortex around a target [generally the user]. The water vortex acts both as a barrier and an attack mechanism. The power of the vortex is enough to knock an opponent unconscious. Due to the liquid properties of this technique, most projectile weapons are considered useless against it, or acting with it.

In Wind Release: Great Slashing Tornado, the user creates a minor tornado that ensnares a target [generally the opponent]. The target will find themselves trapped inside the eye of this tornado, unharmed by the winds but unable to move without touching the tornado. If they attempt to escape they will find the swirling winds will push them back inside the center, with several cuts and scratches due to the ferocity of the winds. Due to the high speeds of the wind, it increases the ability of projectile weapons, increasing their speed, power, and ability to wound or kill multiple times.

The term Iaidō refers to a specific style of kenjutsu that is concerned with the smooth, controlled movements of drawing the sword from its sheath, while striking or cutting an opponent, removing blood from the blade, and then replacing the sword back into its place in the sheath. The linear motion and force applied to draw the sword from its sheath results in slashes that are faster and stronger than ones realized with the sword already drawn. The speed at which these techniques can be executed- the initial strike in particular- is such, that when performed by a skilled user, it can prevent enemy shinobi from forming hand seals [therefore also preventing them from casting ninjutsu], by exploiting the small opening that these movements create. This makes them highly effective against most shinobi and potentially, those of even Hanzō's caliber, if performed by one who has mastered the style.

Through the use of chakra flow, the user channels their chakra through their swords, extending both the reach and cutting ability of the blade, while also allowing the user to fire physical crescent shaped chakra whenever the blade is swung. This released chakra is capable of dealing large amounts of damage, as shown from how the projectile chakra completely penetrated a considerable stone pillar, before continuing to damage the immediate surroundings. The users have also shown the ability to use shape transformation during the implementation of this technique, sculpting their respective chakra blades into various rudimentary weapons that extend beyond the natural dimensions of their original swords, such as broadswords, spiked shafts and even axes. This capability allows them to rely on smaller swords reminiscent of wakizashi, while attaining greater reach, damage and the possibility of conducting surprise attacks as necessary.

Evanescence and Elucidation are a pair of twin blades. Both blades appear to be exactly identical. They both measure in at 109 centimeters [approximately 3.5 feet]- every detail seems appears same. Despite appearing to be exactly the same in size, shape, and sharpness, though this is the case, they do have a minimalistic difference. Each blade has a flattened side to it [this also makes each individual blade sharper], so the two blades may fit together to be used as one.
Evanescence and Elucidation are extremely sharp and durable- they are intended to deal damage both sizable and swift, in the hands of a user who knows how to use them.
When in the hands of a member of the Yuki Clan [or any Clan who possesses the Kekkei Genkai, Fūton], they may infuse their Ice Release chakra into the blades, to enhance their sharpness and speed, and on some occasions the durability, depending on the amount of chakra used.
Item Background: Evanescence and Elucidation are twin blades that were passed down to the eldest child in Kaede's family line. When the eldest child begins training as a shinobi or is planned or forced to be separated from their family, no matter their age, they are given possession of the blades. If separation is not the reason, the child will have to endure large amounts of training from the previous wielder of the blades.
These swords are the only slight form of sentimentality that Kaede has regarding his family. Having never even known the reason for his separation, due to being such a young age when the traumatic event occurred, Kaede has no immediate memories of any of his family. The twin blades, Evanescence and Elucidation, are the only things that he has to remind him of his past.

Background: Kaede was originally born into the Yuki Clan, inside the Kirigakure village. For reasons unknown, he was separated from his parents as a very young child. Unknowingly, Kaede was forced to live on the streets, as he hadn't the slightest thought as to what else he could be doing. As time passed, Kaede noticed an incline in negative behaviour that was being directed towards himself. Physically, he did not appear different [other than his feminine appearance], however, mentally, he had far more intelligence than others due to life experience, and he'd also developed two mental disorders- Bipolarity Disorder and Dissociative Identity Disorder [Multiple Personality Disorder]. Amongst these things, he was also cast aside due to openly admitting that he was a member of the Yuki Clan. Kaede never seemed to be able to get close to anyone, and eventually gave up making the attempt. As the years passed, he grew to become extremely individualistic, and started relying only on himself. This made him push himself harder and harder to master every aspect of life that he'd wished to conquer. Kaede soon became very neutral to life, and let it treat him as it wished, as he had simply allowed events to occur, without giving much mind to them. Despite living on the streets and being cast aside, Kaede became skilled in the art of ninjutsu. He studied other ninja as well as books which taught him. As time passed, Kaede decided that he might leave the streets for a short while to train as a Genin in the Ninja School.
