Bonjour et Bienvenue to Equestrian class. Hopefully all who are attending my class know what it is about. Even so I will give you a run down of it all. When you join my class you will start at a lower level I call Débutant, or beginner. Débutants start with grooming, feeding, and taking care of the basic needs of their horses for the first few classes. This way you will get to know the horse and the horse will get to know you. Just like the cats that walk our grounds, the mares and stallions will choose you, you won't choose them. After I am comfortable with your progress you will be allowed to take your companion out into the riding area and ride them for a little while. At this stage you will be called Intermédiaire which I'm sure you can guess what it translates to. As an intermédiaire you will do the same work as a débutant but I will allow you to ride your horse more often. Before I move you onto Advanced, or Avancé, I will help you choose what you want to practice and learn to know with your horse, There are four categories you may choose from; Show jumping, Dressage, Endurance riding, and Vaulting.
Show Jumping: Jumper classes are held over a course of show jumping obstacles, including verticals, spreads, double and triple combinations, usually with many turns and changes of direction. The intent is to jump cleanly over a set course within an allotted time.
Dressage: Dressage is a competitive equestrian sport, defined by the International Equestrian Federation as "the highest expression of horse training", where "horse and rider are expected to perform from memory a series of predetermined movements."
Endurance Riding: In an endurance ride, discussed in this article, the winning horse is the first one to cross the finish line while stopping periodically to pass a veterinary check that deems the animal in good health and fit to continue.
Vaulting: Equestrian vaulting, or simply Vaulting, is most often described as gymnastics and dance on horseback.
Not everyone must choose something they want to practice with a career in mind. It is simply something you might want to do for later in life. Everyone must choose something though because I will not move you on to Avancé if you do not. Everyone is allowed in my class but please do not come here to visit your horse unless I am here or have told you otherwise. Only those who have my permission are able to ride their horses, and Avancé students generally may ride for practice whenever they wish. If you have a horse from your previous life they are always welcome to stay in my stables and you may keep them as your horse in class. Just please let me know beforehand and I will help get you settled in.
If you would like to join my class please fill out this form and send it to Hopeless Reality.

The stallions and mares are kept in separate wings of the stalls but are all very well taken care of. Here is a list of the stallions and their riders.
Fidelis They are a:Gypsy Their temperament is:Fidelis is a very loyal and very calm horse. He enjoys keeping her riders and Elijah in line when he can. As he is very loyal he is not shy and is not always trusting at first. A good way to make him like you is by brushing his mane and feeding him apples, his favorite fruit. Ridden byElijah Diaz
Fumare They are a:Arabian Their temperament is:Fumare is a very playful and very hyper stallion. It is rare that he will not be trying to mess with someone's head and play around. He is only kind and gentler to you when you give him a treat and he can tell you are not in a good mood. Ridden byOpen
Paulo They are a:American Quarter Horse Their temperament is:Paulo is a very gentle and caring horse. He is very fatherly to all the fledglings he chooses. Of course he has been a foal's sire a few times now, so it may result from that. Not a lot gets him angry but he is also the oldest stallion in the stables; this gives him some patience by experience. Ridden byOpen
Givre They are a:Appaloosa Their temperament is:Named more for his temper than for his colour, Givre is not the friendliest stallion in the stables. He is not the youngest or the oldest so he has neither patience from age nor excitement from youth. Don't let his disposition get to you though, after a while he is very loyal and very protecting. The stallions and mares are kept in separate wings of the stalls but are all very well taken care of. Here is a list of the mares and their riders.
Creame They are a:Gypsy Their temperament is:Creame is known as the mother horse to most of the horses in the stables. Not that she is literally the mother of every horse, but she acts like it. She is very protecting of the stallions, mares, and foals especially. Almost as though she has taken on a higher role because her rider is the high priestess, she looks after everyone, including riders. The best way to get her attention is to bring her sugar cubes, after that she will always greet you when you are around. Ridden byRose Effrego
Cocos They are a:Australian Draught Their temperament is:Cocos is the oldest mare in the stable, but not at all the calmest. In her old age she seems to have taken on the attitude of a foal. She loves the fledglings and much prefers third and fourth formers to the olders. Cocos appreciates bribes and will often stick to your side if you slip her a carrot or apple when you can. Ridden byReed Klausman - Intermédiaire
Duvet They are a:Curly Their temperament is:Like Paulo, Duvet is a very gentle and caring horse. The mare and stallion have had a few foals together, no surprise seeing as they are alike. Even though different in breed. Though she is not the oldest mare, as that being Cocos, she is second. Like Paulo she is very calm and caring but not quite as motherly as Creame. Ridden byOpen
Libertas They are a:Russian Don Their temperament is:Libertas is the youngest mare in this section of stable, as well as the most headstrong. Named for her stubbornness and air of haughtiness, Libertas is not the nicest mare at first. After a while or so, when her rider has been with her for long enough, she softens up. Libertas tends to choose the older fledglings, not wanting to have to worry about watching the newbies. It is very rare that she is ever bribed, except from her favorites. So her current riders and Rose. Ridden byOpen

Though they are still separated by gender, ponies are kept and listed separately from the horses. This is because enough people acknowledge that even though Ponies are Equines, as horses are, they are known as a different kind of animal. So here is the listings of the ponies and their riders.
Insolenza They are a:Falabella - Mare Their temperament is:For all the size she lacks, Insolenza contains the sass of twelve full mares. This is why she was named as she was. She is very energetic but rarely will she do what you tell her to. When you tell her to however. But that is only when you first meet her. She is very bribe-able from most berries and fruits. Whoever you are, though, watch out for your tale when she's annoyed, as she will whack you with it. Ridden byOpen
Brownie They are a:Welsh Cob - Stallion Their temperament is:Brownie is a sweet-heart but also very shy. He is the youngest pony that is full grown and seems to be the loner of the bunch. You can't bribe Brownie because he knows what you are trying to do, and generally will do what you want to anyway. He seems to have his own version of a puppy-dog face if he tries. Ridden byOpen
Persia They are a:Caspian - Mare Their temperament is:Persia is the oldest pony in the stables, so she tends to be a little impatient. She is not that old really, but she has had her share of foals, and knows what it is like to rear little ones. She is much kinder to the new third formers, as she feels they deserve it more than the fledglings who know how to fend for themselves. Persia has a habit of hanging around Paulo and Cocos when Rose lets them roam in the riding area, due to the age difference being lower. Ridden byOpen
Rebondir They are a:Dales - Stallion Their temperament is:Dales is overall the most hyper of the horses in the stable. He spends a lot of time around Fumare and Libertas because they are either so similar or so different. When he is not, though, when Rose lets the horses out in the area, he will be around the older foals Their energy level is so similar after all. It is fitting that his favorite treat is a sugar cube and grapes. Ridden byOpen

Foals are kept in the stalls with their mothers until a certain age. Until then the riders of the mothers are wanted to care for both the foal and the mare. When the foals are still foals but old enough not to be in their mother's stalls, a student may request to care for one. Obviously you would not ride one, but you would care for, play with, and help raise one. Here is the list of foals and their care takers.
Piccolo They are a:Arabian - Stallion Their temperament is:Even though Piccolo is the smallest and youngest foal, he seems to be the leader of the group. He loves trying to pick fights with the others when he can, as well as try to get in his sire's way. Fumare is Piccolo's father, being bred with another Arabian for the exact purpose of having offspring. Rose was allowed to have one of Fumare's children once they reached the age, so she chose Piccolo. Even for his attitude, she does not regret taking the young one under her roof. Taken care of byOpen
Joli They are a:Gypsy - Mare Their temperament is:Joli is the only mare foal in the stables so she is very shy but very independent. She is the daughter of Creame and Fidelis and sister to Eachtránaí. You will often find her with the high priestess or her mother. And she has taken up her father's taste for apples. Taken care of byRose Effrego
Timide They are a:Australian Draught - Stallion Their temperament is:Timide is very shy and very much a follower of Piccolo. He is the son of Cocos and another stallion from another farm. Though he does not have his mother's socialistic traits or courage as far as people. You can bring him to like you if you are gentle with him and quieter. Taken care of byReed Klausman
Eachtránaí They are a:Gypsy - Stallion Their temperament is:Eachtránaí is very much like his sister in the independent sense. Every stable has a run away. The son of Creame and Fidelis is this House of Night's. He is very curious and loves meeting new people. One of his favorite things is to sneak out during class and make the students run after him, just to run back to his mother. Taken care of byOpen
