Rakkety Rakkety Rakkety Tam,
the drums are beatin' braw.
Rakkety Rakkety Rakkety Tam,
are ye marchn' off to war?

A warrior from the borders came, a bukler o'er his shoulder,
a claymore swingin' at his side,
there's no' a beast who's bolder.

O Rakkety Tam has sold his sword,
Ah scarce believe he's done it.
He swore an oath untea a fool,
who took his pledge upon it.

Rakkety Rakkety Rakkety Tam,
the drums are beatin' braw.
Rakkety Rakkety Rakkety Tam,
are ye marchn' off to war?

An' who will stand wi' Rakkety Tam,
tea win the King's Royal Banner?
Wild Doogy Plumm the Highlander,
of rough an' ready manner!

Those fighters o' the Long Patrol,
Have vowed to give no quarter,
a-roarin' blood'n'vinegar,
when chargen' tea the slaughter!

Rakkety Rakkety Rakkety Tam,
the drums are beatin' braw.
Rakkety Rakkety Rakkety Tam,
are ye marchn' off to war?

That savage from the lands of ice,
he's no' like anyother.
He's sworn tea get the Walkin' Stone,
an' murder his own brother!

'Tis braw tea woo a bonny maid,
for love is aye sae sweet.
Yet who'll be left tea tell the tale,
when steel an' fang must meet.

"Who can outrun the wind
Yet turn on a single leaf
Stand silent as an amberfly
Or steal the breath from a thief
The Taggerung!
Who can outswim a pike
Whoes eyes are as keen as a hawk
Who brings death in his wake
Yet leaves no mark where he walks
Zann Jaskarath Taggerung!"

"Through the seasons, here I lie,
'neath this Redwall that we made.
Solve the mystery, you must try,
Graven deep it will not fade.
Some where 'twixt our earth and sky,
Birds and gentle breezes roam.
There a key you might espy
To that place I once called home.
Take this graven page and seek,
What my words in stone could mean.
What can't fly, yet has a beak,
Mixed up letters evergreen.
Two bees, two Ohs,
One sea, one tap,
And weary without A.
Leave me now to my long rest,
Good fortune on your way."

"Those who wish to challenge fate,
To a jumbled shout walk straight.
Sunset fires in dexteree((right eye)),
Find where Loamhedge used to be.
At the high place near the skies,
Look for other watchful eyes.
Sleep not 'neath the darkpine trees,
Be on your guard, take not your ease,
Voyage when daylight dims,
Danger in the water swims.
Make no noise with spear or sword,
Lest you wake the longtailed horde.
Shades of creatures who have died,
Bones of warriors who have tried.
Shrink not from the baren land,
Look below where you stand,
This is where a stone may fall and make no sound at
all.
Those who cross and live to tell,
See the badger and the bell,
Face the lord who points the way
After noon on summers day.
Death will open up its grave.
Who goes there...? None but the brave."
