Why was she doing this again? She felt nervous. It was always weird meeting someone you had spoken to for months online. They were friends of course, talking about a lot of things, various shows and comic books, and the dreaded fanfictions. That was probably what was making her so nervous today, the idea of someone who knew her little secret also knowing her face. Zoe was very careful about posting her pictures on the internet because once something was online, it could never come off the web.
But here she was, sitting in a cafe, looking down at her iphone as she sent the final message of where the cafe was and one simple thing to pick her out. I'm the girl with the longest hair there. She then sipped at her mocha and waited, quickly logging into a game of alchemy to pass the time.

Cait was nervous, horribly so. It wasn't often she met online friends, but when she found out Zoe was local, it seemed like a great idea. A fellow fanficcer and fandom buddy? Yeah, she needed more of those.
She pulled out her phone, checking the address of the cafe and of the identifying feature she had been given. Longest hair in the house... She walked in and looked around, spotting a blonde with nearly floor-length hair. Yup, that was probably her...
"Zoe?" She asked, walking over and waving.

A couple sips of her mocha and Zoe had to wonder if maybe she had given the other girl a bit of wrong information. Her green eyes darted around, trying to see if there was another girl with longer hair than her, but no one else had hair past their shoulders. Her hair was indeed the longest and a bit of a dead give away. Her eyes started to slide past the girl standing towards the front of the cafe, but Zoe made them stop. Was that girl dressed as... of course she was. And of course it couldn't be anyone else but Cait. It totally helped that she was walking toward Zoe, smiling, waving, and saying her name.
"Cait!" The blonde jumped up out of her seat grinning. She held a hand out to shake Cait's unable to do anything but grin. "It's great to meet you in person!" She then waved at the table she had managed to snag and quickly set herself back down. She felt a little under dressed, but really it was a miracle she wasn't in sweats.

Today, Cait was Rogue of the X-Men, down to the hair - though while normally she would have gone with dye, since Rogue's hair was like hers in length and texture, since it was just a one-day project she had opted for a wig instead.
Zoe's enthusiasm made her light up, and she took the hand and shook it, then pulled her other girl into a hug. "Great to meet you too!" Normally she wouldn't have been so enthusiastic at first meeting, but then, it felt like she and Zoe had known each other for a long time. She plopped down at the table. "So how's DCU been?"
