By the time the baku arrived back at Amity, the sky was already beginning to dim. Grocery shopping had taken far longer than she had initially anticipated, but at the very least, she had still managed to make it back in time for her usual dinner. That being said, considering the snail's pace that she was currently making her way through the school grounds at...
Xiu furrowed her brows as she stared down intently at the receipt, her gaze scanning the little sheet of paper once, twice, thrice. Her brain was nagging at her, telling her that she had forgotten to buy something important...but what could it have been? Flour, sugar, eggs...she had gotten everything, hadn't she?
...Hopefully?
She was fixated so intently on the receipt that she wasn't paying any particular mind to where she was going, moving in what was hopefully the vague directly of where the Demon dorms were. Considering her current lack of attention and the darkening sky, it seemed like the perfect time to bump into someone.

It was getting late and his stomach was letting him know it. Exiting his dorm Spinar was on his way to the creepateria, hoping there was something left in it for him to snack on. His mouth watered slightly as visions of eye scream came to mind, something sweet would really hit the spot, sweet and cold. Cold and sweet, or just sweet he could settle he told himself. Wrapped up in thoughts the frost demon trailed in a blind straight line right out of the doors of the Demon dorms and right into a little baku ghoul.
Tripping over his feet as they hit his body fell forward into the ghoul but he managed to catch himself so they didn't topple over to the ground. Having shot out when they collided his hands were firmly clasped around her shoulders, possibly giving the ghoul a cold shock. Sludgesticks! Glancing down over the baku he was fairly certain something in the bag she was holding might have been broken with how hard they hit. Pulling back he chuckled nervously or at least appearing so, "whoa, sorry about that..I should have watched where I was going.." Once he settled down and was at a good distance he tilted his head as a familiar sense washed over him, did he know her? Kaiyumi Lies you did great ! o3 o sorry forgot to quote

Although she really, really should have been expecting it, the (unfortunately rather familiar) feeling of colliding into someone and falling shook the baku ghoul out of her thoughts. Just as she let out a panicked squeak and tried to catch herself, she felt the other student grab her, saving her from a potentially nasty fall. Taking a deep breath and trying to slow her heart, the corners of Xiu's lips curved upwards in a faint smile as she glanced up at the boil.
"Thank you! And no, no not at all, it's my faul--...?" She cut herself off suddenly, brows furrowing and lips curving into a frown as she eyed the stranger who stood before her. At least...he was a stranger, wasn't he? At first glance, he was not something who she immediately recognized, but there was something tugging at the back of her mind, a whisper that she knew him from somewhere--
--Ah. She herself didn't know him, but her mirror self, the other Xiu, had been acquainted with someone who looked very similar, hadn't she? Staring at the baku ghoul he returned the smile then rose a curious brow when she cut off her words. Was she perhaps experiencing the same thing as him, he wondered curiously watching her. It took him only a minute after she called him by name to realize it was his mirror self that knew her, that was the only explanation for how she knew his name. That idiot had told everyone their name, he cursed inwardly but attempted to play it cool.
Trying not to fume he gave a confident smirk and shook his head, extending a hand for a shake he flashes a set of sharp pearly whites, "Siku actually. But..you're right in a way, Xiu right?" The name was given firmly after it followed a merry chuckle, a forced amusement for the situation so he didn't blow up on the ghoul, after all remembering back from what he was shown she was rather interesting plus it helped that she was cute.
"I hope I didn't break anything." He offered looking to her bag then following with the change of subject, "Do you stay here in the demon dorms, if so maybe I can give you a hand and carry that as kind of a sorry." Spinars lips stretched wide and his blues narrowed in on her, the offer was genuine enough, he did want to help her maybe not so much was he sorry but he was interested in her and perhaps talking a little bit about their mirrorselfs if she was up to it. "Unless you'd rather not have company so late?" An amused snort sounded as he turned his eyes to the sky. Kaiyumi Aww its ok no worries ! <3 hope midterms went well! * U*

S...Siku? Feeling her cheeks grow warm, Xiu quickly opened her mouth to apologize--there was nothing more embarrassing than calling someone by the wrong name--but when he told her that she was right in a way, and clearly knew her name...
Ah, this was...kind of strange, wasn't it? The boil standing in front of her now was familiar, and they were both acquainted with each other, but they had never met one another before this point. Not officially, at least. After a moment of pause, the baku simply smiled, holding her bag with both of her hands as she bowed to him. "That's right! I'm glad to meet you...er, again?"
She sounded a little uncertain, but quickly shook her head to dismiss the confusion. Well, it didn't matter really matter right now. When her attention was brought to the bag of groceries she carried, she quickly shook her head, trying to offer him a reassuring smile. "No no, I don't think anything broke!" She chirped, quickly trying to hold the bag behind her back.
...Whereupon a telltale clinking of broken glass betrayed her.
Hoping that it had not been audible, she tried to find something else to say, other to perk up at his offer. Help? Well, that wasn't necessary, but..."It's not a big deal--it was mostly my fault for not paying attention--but I don't mind if you want to drop by? Maybe we can talk a little!" His mirror self had seemed nice enough, and the real one seemed pretty polite too. It never hurt to make new friends!CheekieBirdiee *u* Went pretty well! Still have papers and things, but ffff <33 Hope all's well on your end!

He couldn't have another one walking about and knowing his name so it was best to catch her here and now he figured. Watching as she flushed softly he admired the tint of her rosy cheeks for a moment before glancing off and rubbing the back of his head, should he mess with her or, deciding against it he simply nodded his head, "it's a strange situation.. "
When the little baku smiled and bowed to him, he grinned a toothy grin and was tempted to touch one of those cute little ears, restraining himself he gave a half bow of his head. "Likewise, officially that is.." Chuckling he pocketed his hands and tugged on the rings in his lips with his teeth. This meeting was strange, was it because unlike with Rosy he wasn't familiar with this ghoul and a part of him wanted to be considerate since who she had been? Spinar inwardly frowned not to pleased with this for reasons he couldn't quite pinpoint.
The scramble hiding of the bag along with the clinking gave her away and he chuckled teasingly, "then you always much such sounds or is it only when flustered? " Given that she was taking most of the blame he didn't see a reason to admit it was also his fault as well. A loud growl from his stomach sounded and the frost demon curled his tail around his waist on a laugh, "hah excuse me I was heading to the creepateria, but..talking to you regardless of what my stomach thinks is a much more appealing idea.." Spinar turned and opened the dorm doors for her giving a head motion of after you.Kaiyumi o uo <33 so glad to hear ! All is well here works keeping me busier than I like but u -u dealing dealing.

Strange situation indeed. The baku couldn't help but smile, giving a little shake of her head as she mused over this unusual meeting. Well...might as well make the best of it, right? "Well, they--we?--were kind of friends or...er, allies, right? Maybe we can be friends in this world too!"
Why not? Xiu loved making new friends, and Spinar--or, er, Siku?--seemed like a nice enough boil, both from what she knew of him in the dream world and the one standing here now. Grinning at the "officially", she nodded and quietly echoed the word. To be fair, she had never thought that she would actually run into some of the people her Kingdom self had met here, but...
...Wait, did this mean that the other people her King self had met were here at Amity? A part of the baku couldn't help but light up at the thought.
Looking a little flustered as the boil caught her attempt to hide the clinking glass, the baku puffed out her cheeks and averted her gaze. "...A little of both. But--oh, are you hungry?" Eyes widening, she perked up and turned to tilt her head at him. After a moment of consideration, the ghoul lifted her bag of groceries and beamed. "I was just about to make dinner, actually. Want to help?"
It seemed the baku had a tendency of feeding her fellow students and friends lately, but she always enjoyed the company. Giving a little bow of her head in thanks, she trotted into the dorm, and then turned to await Spinar's reply.RadioactiveDelight FFF SORRY got caught up with more midterms/papers/trip to Seattle, but I'm back now! ..........AND YOU CHANGED YOUR USERNAME adfsgdhfj /thought she had the wrong person for a sec, omg

Watching the baku he tried not to look as amused as he was when she exclaimed they could be friends here as well. Of course it wouldn't have been such a stretch if he actually considered other creatures as 'friends', given his mirror-self had been quite taken with her but as it was friends were something he didn't care to really make in the sense that others held the word. "Perhaps we can.." Spinar might of thought that there wasn't a chance for actual friendship, but he grinned, not being one to turn down a potential sucker.
The puffed out cheeks and averted gaze had Spinar flashing back to his meeting with Frost. Was everyone at this school adorably grumpy when teased, if so he was regretting not attending sooner. Chuckling softly he ran a hand through his silvery locks then nodded responding to her question of his hunger, "..yeah." Lifting a brow his features twisted in curiosity as the bag was lifted. Smirking slightly as he opened the door, help with dinner huh? Well it was an interesting turn and he wasn't one to turn down food.
Heading in after her, the frost demon chuckled and nodded his head, "well now I'd be delighted to help you...as long as you plan to feed me afterwords."Sticking out his tongue teasingly he falls into step next to her, "so whats on the menu?.."Kaiyumi Ooooh sounds busy for you too xD <3 I did! lolol *snugs* riiight person u -u b

Xiu paid little mind to his somewhat vague and non-committal answer, simply responding with a light laugh and a smile. "It's always nice to meet new students here! I guess our case is a little odd, but--ah." She suddenly paused, the smile dropping off of her face as it was replaced by a thoughtful look instead, "I wonder if Rosy is here too? And you know, I could introduce you to some of the other people your other self met! Aniki--Shun--for one."
And then, eyes twinkling with amusement, she giggled. That buttgrab.
Well, if he was hungry, she could certainly help with that! The ghoul beamed when he agreed to help, starting in the direction of the demon dorms once more. "The menu? That depends--what do you eat? Baku are pretty versatile--I mean, we eat dreams of course, but we're omnivores aside from that. What about you?"
...Truthfully, she wasn't entirely sure what he was either, but she wasn't sure how exactly to word that question in a subtle way.RadioactiveDelight Yeees, and now it's finals time, so. ;__; *just got home from her second final, fffff* TWO MOREEEE. AND LOL YES when you tagged me for this, for a minute, I was like, "wait who is this........" OTL I have a terrible memory okay ;;

Watching Xiu was more than amusing, Spinar tended to favor those that let emotions play easily across their face and she seemed to be just the type. At the sudden pause his interest perked as did a slender pointed, pierced ear, "Rosy is, that much I can assure you," he chuckled the reply after the question then blinked for a moment trying to recall Shun.
Shun.
Shun, the twinkling of amusement mimicked in Spinars eye as the name came back with a face, joining her giggles with a laugh he grins deviously. Spinar remembered now, the silent sour fellow with the firm backside. "I'd like to meet him again, to catch up of course...maybe apologize and hope we can put somethings behind us." Of course the behind part was a tease to their inside knowledge.
Heading on inside he nods listening carefully as they walked. "Well...I'm fairly versatile myself, aside from not eating dreams course." Chuckling softly and more to himself he throws her a bone and adds, "but a frost demons such as myself can handle just about anything as long as its finely made, sweets and cold are favored among simple flavors like vanilla.." Spinar didn't gather he needed to tell her about foods that were spicy or too hot, granted his cold aura could cool down a cup of tea in seconds but still.

The ghoul's eyes visibly lit up at Spinar's words--Rosy was here?! Really?!--only for the delight to shift into amusement a moment later. Not even bothering to suppress her giggles, Xiu elbowed the boil lightly in the side, lips spread in a wide grin.
"I'm sure aniki would be delighted to see you again! So long as, you know, you don't make your introduction a repeat of last time." Jack forbid that that happen--who knows how it would go? ...Well, that being said, it would be one thing if Spinar did it accidentally again, and another if he did it on purpose.
...Xiu wasn't so sure either of them wanted to test that theory though.
Through the Demon dorm doors and up the stairs, Xiu began to root in her obi for her keys while she considered Spinar's answer. Frost demons, hmm? Well, that helped a little--she did know a couple of demons with frost and ice affinities, after all. "Mmkay, can do! I have some fresh, homemade eye scream in the freezer too, which works for dessert, right?" Finally finding her keys, she unlocked and pushed open her door...
Whereupon the pair were immediately assaulted by an eager Dream Blossom minipet weaving around their legs. Jian--Xiu's Nightmare Flower--and Arashi--a Storm Melonkit--simply stretched and sat staring.RadioactiveDelight <333 NOOO IT'S NOT CRAPPY AT ALL PFFF and just had my last final today, so @__@ DOOONE!

Cute. Far to cute, the Ghoul was something of adorable he reasoned while watching the lit up expression and then the tickled amusement. At the elbow he growled teasingly and knocked shoulders softly with her so not to make her drop the bag. It was refreshing to see a Ghoul that actually played along with him, be it by choice or politeness he wasn't sure but wasn't about to skip it in appreciation.
"Well to make sure my new introduction goes a little better, how about you tag along for support?" Spinars tone was teasing of course, but he wouldn't mind it, to be introduced by someone who called the other brother was sure to have a more positive effect on someone than by meeting the fellow that touched your butt. While a repeat would be highly entertaining he didn't know how the real Shun was and to that he knew that an accident wasn't likely to happen or at least if it did, given their past experiences it wouldn't be taken as such.
Especially considering he would burst out laughing.
Following through Demon dorm doors and up the stairs, Spinar watched curiously as she began to root in her obi, a passing thought of what all could be stored in such clothing was given as he looked on."Sounds divine, I can't wait to sample it. Homemade by you I would assume?" Interest peaked at the idea of finding a Ghoul that could cook. If it turned out that way, he was more than willing to play extra nice for something delicious.
Entering the room a pause was given in his attempt to look around when an eager Dream Blossom started to weave through their legs. Chuckling he swung his tail up gently and chanced a poke to the little minipet's belly with the tip of his chilly tail, " what an adorable creature..." Glancing up from the mini at his feet he noticed the others in the room as well. Was she a random mini collector? Or were these special, they certainly looked interesting and reminded him of Olive back in his dorm. The little Pygmy Vaisel Husk was just as eager as the Blossom that was running around and had an attitude as bad as Agsil in that it assumed it now owned his dorm or more over his bed.
"Do you collect Minipets?" He inquired while now taking a chance to examine the actual dorm and compliment, "nice place."Kaiyumi Congrats on being done ! Sorry its taken so long for a tag back ;; <3

The ghoul let out a bright laugh, and then paused to semi-seriously consider his offer, scrunching up her nose. "I wouldn't mind, really! I'm always happy to introduce friends to one another, and you two are already kind of acquainted!" Beaming, her tail continued to wag eagerly behind her at the thought of those in the Red Kingdom being able to meet one another in real life. There was a moment of pause, and then she turned to grin at him, lifting a finger and wagging it at him. "Just make sure to grab someplace else if you slip this time, yes? I'm not a King this time, so I'm not sure I could save you if aniki wanted to beat you up..."
This was said, of course, in a completely teasing tone of voice. At most, she was certain that Shun would just get annoyed, though actually beating him up...well.
The inquiry about the eye scream earned a cheerful smile and nod--of course it was homemade!--though her expression then faded into one of sheepishness at her Dream Blossom's--Shu's--eager greeting. The minipet let out a rumbling purr at the poke, dancing and curling around Spinar's legs in her own brand of welcoming him to the room. Jian and Arashi, Xiu's other two minis, simply continued to sit back and watch.
Letting out a sigh and smiling wryly, Xiu moved to set the bags down in the kitchen, immediately cracking open the fridge to pull out ingredients. "Collect? Well, hmmm...some. Berrors, blossilia, and some others, but these three are special." Poking her head out of the kitchen, she pointed a wooden spoon at Shu, and then at Jian. "My family--particularly my uncle--breeds Dream Blossoms and Nightmare Flowers, so they're kind of a family pet."RadioactiveDelight Thank you! ;u; <333 AND AHHHH no problem! The ghoul laughter was almost contagious, such a happy creature was often easy to sucker or at least in his own experience. Spinar smirk wide and admired the little baku as she scrunched her nose up at his teasing offer. "This is true.." They were kind of acquainted so she had a point there. Watching the eagerly swaying tail had his own threatening to pick up the rhythm. It was amusing to watch Xiu, so excited, even if he wasn't sure why it was amusing none the less and told a good deal about her personality. A dramatic gasp and played up hand over his chest of innocence was given when she wagged a finger at him. "You'll always be a King to me haha. I'll do my best to aim for his hand this time, lets hope your aniki is an extended arm shaker..." Sticking out his tongue playfully he gave the ghoul a wink.
The teasing tone of voice matching as he spoke back to her. A shine in the boils eyes gave it clearly away that he was more than happy to see someone around here that could and would exchange banter with him.
The cheerful smile and nod gave away something he was more than pleased to learn, homemade eyescream was no easy task. Spinar was suddenly much more thrilled about free food. The boil felt something around his feet before noticing the sheepish expression, glancing down to the Dream Blossom he chuckled. This little thing was stupidly cute but he really didn't want its fur stuck to his boots if his natural chill got to it. Pearly sharp white teeth flashed as Spinar bent at the knee to gently run a claw over the minis ear, an affectionate gesture all of his own. Glancing up and finally noticing the look he commented while looking at Xiu, "cute."
Spinar moves towards the kitchen and runs over the ingredients with an appreciative eye before his attention turns to the mini's she points to. "I see..I've never seen these before so I assumed as much. " Chuckling he looks around the kitchen for somewhere to sit while watching and talking to her, "you cook a lot?" Kaiyumi ffft its ok our late replies were made for one another <33 xP

Truthfully, Xiu wasn't so sure that she herself would be a good King--the other Xiu had seemed a little more...assertive than her, if the King!Xiu's snarking hadn't been indication of that--so she simply made a silly face at the boil before giving a wave of her hand. "Okay, enough of that, I guess! We're in the real world now, so let's make the most of it."
And what better way to enjoy company than over a nice meal? Head still poking out of the kitchen, she wagged her spoon at the overeager Dream Blossom who had been wrapping herself around her guest's legs. "Sorry about her--she really loves people. Shu, kindly be careful not to trip my friend, okay?"
Xiu ducked back into the kitchen then, aware that the boil had entered as well and was presently scanning his surroundings. As she worked on chopping up a few vegetables, the baku turned and threw a brief smile over her shoulder before her gaze flickered back to the cutting board. "Yes, I cook a ton.
