Name: Laminariales
The Laminariales are a biological classification [of the "Order" type] which consists of kelp. [Essentially, I'm naming him kelp but going about it in a really fancy way.] His color and marking patterns reminded me of pictures of kelp forests and kelp can come in both green and purple.
I thought it also had a nice tie in to his parents names as Lavandula [commonly Lavender] is a plant genus, which most commonly has green stems and purple flowers. Kale is a form of cabbage that is most commonly green but can also have purple leaves.
Motsureta meaning tangled in Japanese. I choose this name because when I look at the baby, I see a lace design (the purple representing the lace). It kinda looks like it is tangled too. Thus, I believe Motsureta Lace is a lovely name for this gorgeous baby.

Name: Layan Taffy
Layan means soft or gentle. Taffy..well, stretchy sticky sweet. It looks like she got tangled up in lavender taffy! Her soft gentle colors, so Gentle Taffy seemed to fit! I thought about different names for bubblegum, but taffy sounds right with Layan.
**this is Leo, edited your post with HER. Since the kit is a female.
