SR had forgotten about the minipet he had tasked Danny with caring for... Except, one day, while cleaning out his minipet Mighty's nest, he found a small, crumpled piece of scrap paper. Scribbled on it were the following words: Look for fire ghoul kid, get her to report on stupid cat. Make her do some work. Look for angry boil kid, get him to report on bird-poop photos. Make him do some work. Hope they like cleaning s**t.
However, SR had far more glorious plans for Danny than bird poop duty... After all, he was getting married soon, and he still needed presents for the lovely Desu-chan. He had ordered about a million tables, sweets and chocolates, and decoden materials, but it wasn't enough. Not for his Desu-chan. He would give him the world if he- Oh. That just gave him an idea.
A few days later, an angry bird would be thrown into Danny's room. It waited for her, and then passed her a note. Its job done, the angry bird then sat on her bed, and exploded.chimarii Kid, meet me at the bird park again. Bring the stupid cat I gave you. Doesn't matter if you failed. I Jacking expect that. SR

Danny showed up alright. The bird had met an unfortunate end (mistaking her lava bath for a bird bath, poor thing), but the message was received nonetheless. Come to Rage's lair with the cat. Righty-o.
So there she arrived at the bird park, cat in tow. Although, the cat didn't stay for long. The moment it saw the birds, its eyes went wide, and it began clawing Danny to get down. She let out a yelp and set him down, intending to give the cat some very stern instructions, but it ran off to chase the birds, and probably eat a few.
The cat ran right up Rage's tree before Danny could even stop him. "This isn't gonna be good ... Oooh I'm gonna get in trouble ..." Danny mumbled, approaching the tree. In a louder voice, she shouted upwards, "Raaage? You there? I think my cat ... He just ..."

Maybe that's why the bird exploded.
"He just died," SR replied as he floated down from the tree, clearly unamused by the whole 'there's a cat loose in the bird park' thing, "Sent it back to your closet. Stupid thing got its jaws around one that exploded... Don't be so careless again, kid."
Since he was not one to beat around the bush, he pulled out a wedding invitation from under his cloak, "Desu-chan and I are getting hitched. You're our flower ghoul." Not a question, but a demand, "But I need you to do something for me to prepare for the big day."
Another demand.

Danny gave Rage a frown. Not because of the death of her minipet, she didn't care much about that, honestly. The frown was because it didn't make sense. Hadn't he asked her to bring it? Now what was she supposed to do? Oh! She could make a cat out of fire. Firecat. Yes good plan-
Another head tilt as Rage had just done a Danny confusion x2 combo. "Hitched? To what? Doesn't that hurt?" She knew Rage and Desu-chan were dating of course- Danny gossiped with Princess Desu-chan all the time, but she didn't know that tying yourself to something was a dating ritual. Perhaps she'd ask Rikki about it later.
"Oh um, I'm not a flower ghoul either. I'm kinda more like fiery ghoul, or awesome ghoul. I like that one! Awesome ghoul!" Danny gave Rage a dopey smile, but at least said, "But if you need me, I guess I can help!"

"... We're getting married, kid," SR replied, speaking slowly, like an adult trying to explain something to a four year old, "You know. When two people love each other to the point of wanting to spend the rest of their life and unlife together, they get married, also known as getting hitched. And a flower ghoul is a ghoul who walks down the aisle - that's the middle part of the chapel, where the wedding takes place - with a basket of flower petals, throwing handfuls of it on the aisle. The bride - that's Desu-chan - will be walking behind the flower ghoul - that's you, and I think Desu-chan has someone else in mind... So two of you, plus my ring bearer."
A short pause followed as he scowled, "Oh, you're helping, alright... None of the I guess business, kid."

"I don't see why not," SR shrugged after a slight pause, "Makes it more exciting." He decided to ignore the fact that the chapel was most likely made out of wood.
He figured that the sounds of people screaming would be more romantic than the sound of music from the old organ they have there.

Danny's eyes lit up, but all she did was nod sternly. She was playing it cool.
No she wasn't. Arms excitedly wrapped around Rage in a big hug, squealing and jumping up at down (even if he wasn't). "I'm so happy for you! Rage that's so great!! I get to be the kids' jackmother, right? Right??"
Danny was already jumping a million years ahead. "Who's the ringbearer? Who's the other flower ghoul? Where is it? Are you gonna wear a suit? Will Desu-chan wear a dress- actually wait I don't think she wears anything but dresses ... WILL THERE BE CAKE AFTER??"

That's because fire demons weren't meant to be cool. They're hot.
"... Who says we're gonna have kids?" SR phased out of Danny's hug, feeling over 9000 times less scarier than before, "What if I get a kid as stupid as you? You can't even be responsible for yourself or a stupid cat minipet... How can you be responsible for someone else's kid?"
He didn't feel like answering any of those questions, but since she was going to be part of the procession, he figured that she might have a smaller chance of messing things up if she knew a little more.
"West's going to be ring bearer," He begrudgingly replied; he might have to force West into it, but he had a feeling that the wrath demon won't (be able to) say no, "Some ghoul named Bella? Donna? Maybe it's a mixture of those two names. Can't Jacking remember... You'll get an address once the location is confirmed. Yes, yes, and yes."

Danny looked down, actually rather hurt by Rage's words. She disengaged the hug and mumbled, "Oh. Well .... I hope your kid isn't as stupid as me."
She kicked at the ground as Rage rattled off answers, trying to work the enthusiasm back up for it. "Oh Belladonna? She's nice. I kicked her butt once!" It hadn't been a very fair fight, but Danny wouldn't tell Rage that. Now she was vying for his attention, trying to breeze past her hurt pride. "So all I gotta do is throw flowers and set them on fire and walk, right?"

SR could sense that something was wrong. Now, he would normally not care, but he could feel a lesson in this... Something he said just pushed him into a hole. He's pretty old. He could feel these things in his ectoplasma.
"By saying that, you are admitting that you are stupid," He observed, floating upwards to sit on the tree branch closest to the ground, "Belladonna... So that's her name. Technically yes, all you have to do is to throw flowers and set them on fire and walk, but it wouldn't be a complete wedding procession without all that. You can even say that we're counting on you, Bellawhat'shername, and West."
It physically hurts to say that he's counting on these kids, but it's true, and he wants her to know that for some reason.

Danny chose not to entertain the stupid comment. She knew she was stupid. She couldn't just make her brain work faster. There was no reason to talk about it.
"Wait so there's other stuff I gotta do?" she asked, scratching the back of her neck. She hoped none of this was TOO complicated. Another thought occured. "Oh Jack- do I gotta wear a dress?"

"So, keeping quiet, are we?" He asked with a grin, although he decided to leave it at that for now.
"There's a certain order you have to follow when walking," SR replied with a shrug, "And then you got to stand at the altar in a certain way... I Jacking hate these processions, but it's apparently important." He doesn't see the importance in any of these things... A wedding's still a wedding without it being so fancy.
"You most likely will have to, since the bride's wearing one," He replied, quirking an eyebrow at the ghoul, "Desu-chan's in charge of the clothing... If it's up to me, you can wear your birthday suit for all I care."

Danny was on Rage's side for this one. She had to stand a certain way? Walk a certain way? Oh no, no, no. That was too much effort.
That and the idea of wearing something obnoxious pink had her gagging. She loved Princess Desu-chan and thought the lady was pretty, but that didn't mean she wanted to wear the same things! She had really ugly color choices. "Do I ... have to?" Danny implored.
Maybe there was still a way out of this ...?

"You should ask Desu-chan, kid," SR shrugged, "But unless you want her to go bridezilla on you, just do what she says."
Searching through a hole in the tree, he pulled out a spherical object the size of a standard exercise ball. He then tossed it at Danny's feet.
"Anyway, I needed your help with something else," He pointed at the object, "Try pushing it around. Can't remember what it's called, but it has magical properties. If you roll it around, things will stick to it. The more things you collect, the larger it gets, and the larger it gets, the larger things you can collect... So, I need you to take that and roll it around town. Maybe school. Ste- I mean collect gifts for Desu-chan, to be presented to her on her wedding night. Any questions?"
A short pause followed before he loaded a video onto his phone, and turned the screen towards Danny, "Here's an example, kid."
