Strawberry Fields
The strawberry fields are part of the illusion that mortals see when they look at the camp. The strawberry fields are is maintained by Nymphs but is a very peaceful place to escape. Just be careful not to upset the Nymphs they might not let you come back.

Traiten layed down in between the bushes. He had already made one possibly two friends. Maybe this camp wouldn't be half bad. He then glanced at the sun, almost to make sure it was still there. Then he drifted to sleep

The horse came to a sudden halt. Traiten swung off the horse. It had been a unbumpy ride. He put his fingers to his mouth. Then he blew a sharp whistle. Three nymphs appeared with a picnic basket. He wispered in their ears and they left the basket and ran back to the woods. Bowing like a gentleman, he offered his hand to get off the horse. "I was hoping we could have a nice evening picnic. And what better place then the strawberry field. Then you can lead back".

Avery grabed his hand and hopped down gently to the ground. She smiled at him warmly. She hardly seemed to notice anything else at this point. She then heard movement and remembered the horse so she led it to a near my tree that was under the tree and tied it there. She turned back around and seen him still grinning which made her stomach flutter. She still couldnt understand what made her feel this way or even why he liked her. She had always made people rather uncomfortable yet her she was with Traiten in the middle of the strawberry fields. She smiled again, "This....is amazing Traiten."

Traien bowed a small bow. He came up smiling a fuzzy smile. He patted the horse and told it it could eat some grass.He sat down on a nice dry patch, he then montioned for Avery to sit next to him. Traiten was happy that avery was with him. His mom always said the right one would be one of his own kind. For the longest time he thought about this, untill now now it made sense.Traiten opened the basket and saw 2 sandwiches. "You know we should get to know each other before we jump into anything. You ask the first question. Ask any question about anything. Don't worry my nervous breakdowns are gone." He took on of the sandwiches out of the basket and gave it to Avery. Traiten was think what question she would ask, and what he would her.

Avery took the sandwich and sat with Traiten before she began eating her sandwich. As she chewed she began to think about what she should ask him. She didnt think it was right to ask about his past yet she really wanted to know why he had been so upset earlier. She shook her head then she looked at him, "Is it alright to talk about the past or is that off limits? I really dont want to see you upset. Anyways my actual first question is this; why arent you afraid of me like most people are?" Avery hated the fact that she was always so hot headed as her dad put it. She looked away from Traiten feeling very bad for even asking the question. She stared at the sandwich hoping that she hadnt already ruined the night.

Traiten thought about the question. He picked a strawberry and ate kt, the sweetness running down his throat. He turned back to Avery with a smile on his face. "I really don't know, most people are scary until you get to know them. I belive they call it shynees. No I really didn't think you were scary from the start, I guess because we have something in common." He turned away and looked back at the sun. He inwardly thought why would anyone be afraid of Avery. "Being afraid is a choice we make, having danger is real. We can choose to let fear rule our lives, or we can let go. I try to be the larder. "

Avery smiled at that thought then shook her head, "Would you still like me if you knew how dangerous I could be? I mean as many monsters as I have already delt with you tend to have people frown in your direction thinking you have major issues or something. I have had to defend myself and when I do I never remember the during only the before which is usually when I get angry then when I snap out of it there was never anything but golden sand." Avery paused thinking about it then she took a bite of her sandwich before she continued, "I think that is why everyone always avoided me so I have always made point to avoid people. I have trusted to many people who have tried to hurt me because of my godly herritage apparently."
Avery stared at him hoping that everything was still okay. She found her mind wandering to the kiss once more then she sneezed which led to her laughter. Avery smiled once more, "Lets do the questions in rounds then. I'd like to answer some of your questions before I continue to quiz you."

Traiten smiled and looked at the ground. He took another strawberry and tossed it between hands. "All right heres a question, what do you look for in a guy. And do I have those things" he asked that with a pure look of interest. He knew he had a temper to so he understood. "And don't worry a temper is good, a temper can save your life."

Avery had never really thought about it before. She stared at Traiten for a few minutes deep in thought before she finally was able to come up with an answer. "Well, I guess honestly I never thought about it much because I figured I would always be forever alone. However I like someone who isnt afraid to tell me how they feel. Someone who will stand by me no matter what happens, they will make me smile when I am upset. I would have to say you fit that perfectly and then some. You have had the chance to leave and yet you still came back. Your also very kind and fun loving and thats what i admire most about you, and your very clever as well as romantic."
Avery smiled warmly at him as she reached for his hand. Her had was shaking nervously as she touched his hand. She had been honest with him which is why she was so nervous. She looked at him, "I have never feel so calm around anyone since my aunt passed away. So what do you see in me that makes you like me regardless of risks?" She found herself honestly curious about what Traiten thought. She looked off into the woods seeing a deer running in the distance.

sad Traiten was surprised by the question. He moved his hand to take hers. "I see a beautiful girl, who being a little shy is awesome underneath. And besides if I feared danger my life as a demigod would be hard. Traiten looked toward the setting sun, he looked back at Avrry and laughed. "Well it is getting late, allow me to escort you toward your cabin. " Traiten helped avery onto the horse and he began picking up the picnic. Out of the nearby woods comes a huge boar. Traiten does not see it until it hits him with its tusks. You could hear bones cracking when the tusks entered the rib cage. Traitrn had the presnse of mind to swing his tomohawk. The boar disintegrated into dusk, the tusks were left as a spoil of war. Traiten smiled weakly at Avery and collapsed.

Avery smiled at Traiten as she nodded and allowed herself to climb up on the horse. She really did like him alot and she was finally beginning to think life was finally looking up in the camp till she heard the sickening sound of bones snapping. She spun to see Traiten disintegrating a boar back to dust. Fear found its way to her face as rage began to build. She couldnt let him die like this to an animal attack. She jumped off the horses back tears streaming down her face, "Please dont leave me...." crying
Avery picked him up and put him up on the horse then she undid the tie she had done earlier to keep the horse in place. She lightly hopped up onto the horse. She let her intincts take over at that point. She spurred the horse on into a full gallope. She held Traiten upright to avoid injuring him more. She raced for the big house where she had notice the infirmary in her previous visit to the big house when she chased after Traiten.

Kato came by with a cloth bag, sneaking through the fields to harvest some wild strawberrys, and trying to move around a lot as to not gain the Ire of any nymphs before he left. After all, he did want to come back eventually. However, he was one of the least visually stealthy people you'd ever want to meet, so he was probably easily noticed. Not that he'd mind.
