History: Hotaru grew up in the Aburame clan, and trained her whole childhood to become one with her Kikaichū that live within her body. As she got older she became distant towards those in her class and finished everything assignment like it was nothing, Hotaru Graduated at the same age and year as Giovanni, but was put on a different squad then him. as years passed she improved her skills and found that she didn't need to work with a squad on certain missions so she'd take on D and C rank missions by herself. One day Hotaru and Giovanni had been teamed up for a S-ranked Mission, to find out information about some attacks on some villages near Kirigakuri, according to reports Leaf Shinobi were behind the attacks. When they got there hardly anything was left and only a few people and still been alive, as Hotaru sent her Kikaichū to scout the place Giovanni had walked around to talk with the few villagers that were still alive. Hotaru decided to use her Secret Technique: Insect Cocoon so increase the number of her Kikaichū just encase something happen, as she stood there focusing on helping then Kikaichū breed a Shinobi that had stayed behind went to attack her. Hotaru could sense that the man was coming but couldn't do anything about it and was just a sitting target for the man, right when he was about to close in for the attack Giovanni appeared and saved her and captured the man. Hotaru hasn't said anything but she has been infatuated with him since then and has hidden it extremely well.
Personality: Hotaru is a focused person not really thinking about anything else other then the task at hand, she holds high regard to the current Hokage Giovanni but hides it as much as she can. Hotaru is self reliant most of the time and takes care of important matters alone so if anyone were to get blamed for it, it'd just be her. Hotaru can be found in the forest when she isn't working and keeps and bug eye veiw oof the place along with the whole village but having her Kikaichū fly all over the place {but only a small hand full of them so it doesn't effect her chances in combat any.
