Alistaire bit into a peach as he entered Morgan Kirkwall's office. The warlock had been gone for a while now, at least according to a whisper he had heard in the halls. Therefore, the necromancer made haste to infiltrate the room. Something had been off putting about that man, and he wanted to know what. So he was here, standing and looking at the room before him. He placed the peach down on the desk and with it the books he had brought. Very carefully, very silently, he began to look through the room for anything of interest.

" Oh?" Alistaire said lightly as he heard the lumbering of the beast. It wasn't a very lithe thing, so it's presence was noticed with it's movement. To this point he had not discovered anything of value, but that changed when he turned around to face the demon. " You should be in a cage." He said with a smirk on his face, wondering if the brutish creature could even understand his tongue. His hand drifted out and grabbed the fruit from Morgan's desk, bringing it to the his mouth. He bit, enjoyed the juices and tang of the sweet plant, then lowered it to his side. If this thing had any intelligence, it would know it was being mocked.

" How cute, he taught you how to talk." Alistaire taunted, chuckling at the accent. Playfully he took another bite of the fruit before discarding it to the floor. " Not very well though, your accent is atrocious." Seeing the threat lessened, he moved to sit down at Morgan's desk. It was much as the room was, which was to say uninteresting. Still, he began to riffle through the drawers, speaking as he did so. " Master, you call him? I have never seen such humility in a demon. I thought you were a proud people, prouder than us nasty humans at least. But I guess I was wrong, you do as a well trained puppy should and guard master's door while he is away. Shameful really." He kept up his taunt, striking relentlessly with his tongue. He didn't have any magical abilities, so his word was his greatest weapon. " What am I doing here? Waiting. If you could be a good dog and send for Morgan that would be best, I am not a very patient man." His eyes drifted to the ugly bird perched above him. " You heard me, go."

" the brutish demon growled." As he tensed up and got ready to do unpleasnt thinks to the nosy human.
the bird crowed and flew down it was now at eye level with the obnoxius fool in the office. the birds eyes then glowed an a voice spoke out. it was undeniably Morgan and he was furious as the bird looked into alaistairs eyes coldly.
I already knows you are here. Amarath is my eyes when we are separate what she sees so do i. you should leave NOW! if you wish to live til dawn i know what you have being doing in my office you sad excuse for a man. who is so weak he must slight and iunsult others just to make himself feel better.

" I feel fantastic, I certainly don't need to point out your flaws to increase that." Alistaire said offhandedly as he slipped a few items from the desk into his robe. If this bird was his eyes, then he was glad those eyes couldn't see what was going on under the desk. " Threats, Morgan? I thought you less brutish than that. By all means, continue. After all, threatening and physical assault are grounds for termination are they not? It would be a shame to see you leave so soon after you were hired." He wove his words with a blend of grace and harshness, keeping all the attention on him and not on the sleight of hand. Rising, he looked dead into the eyes of the feathered abomination. " It would be a shame if your pet's essence were to be scattered across oblivion, all because you had the nerve to assault another professor for such a minor transgression. I expected more of you Morgan. Whispers spoke of you being a man of strong mind, not some bumbling warlock who strikes at the first scent of blood. I thought you had more restraint."

"i was not thratenting you alaistiar . Also is theft from another teacher and brekaing into their priate office not also grounds for termination. " if i were you id put those things back. now. then you will get out of my office. And perhaps we can try to form some sort of cordial relationship." amarath said in morgans refined accent "also pets can be replaced.
the brutish demon was now stood next to alaistire ready to throw him out on his backside at morgans request. He could also see what he was doing. morgan had also put a marking spell on his belingings in the office including those in the desk in case anythign left when it wasnt meant tok

" I believe that you said something along the lines of ensuring I do not live to see tomorrow's light. Perhaps saying that you would murder someone is no longer a threat?" Alistaire noted as he fished out some of the items from his pocket. Some sort of purplish orb, a watch, a jar of a strange black substance. As he did this he kept speaking. " Them? Fire me? Gods know I would love to be rid of this place. A chance for freedom. But, I do not see that happening. Some would say I'm a valuable asset, others a threat too large to be unconstrained. Whatever the reason is, I don't see those great doors opening to let me free. You on the other hand, well you're like copper compared to gold. It's much easier to part with loose change than with wealth." As he placed one last item on the desk, the only things remaining on his person were a few scrolls of parchment. Notes he had seen in the short time he had to look. They were hidden quite well underneath the sleeves of his robe, and unnoticeable to the untrained eye. All the other trinkets had been a distraction, it was these papers which he had required. " Cordial relationship? If you wanted my companionship so dearly you could have simply asked. There was no need for us to play these games." He smirked as he parried word with word against the warlock. " There is also no need for your dog to throw me out, I can find the exit myself." He turned sharply to face the demon, smiling as he did so. " I would consider finding a new lord, this one doesn't seem to care for you very much. That is, unless you truly think you're a replaceable asset. In which case, perhaps you should consider killing yourself."

"an the scrolls alaistiare. those as e well. then leae my office. " saidd morgan through amarath. Then amyrahts yes stopped glowing and it opend its mouth.
A moment later there as a flash and a cloud of smoke billowed fourth from amyraths mouth and it formed into morgan himslef . He calld Amarath to his arm and stroked her head. "thank you my sweet you did well.
"As for you Alistair. I am sure you are many things but i do not think you are a petty thief. if you would be so kind.as to put the scrolls in your robe down as well "
said morgan clamly.
and what i said early about not seeing the sun. was not a threat to you it as more a noticfication that all my belongis are spelld with powerful magik if anyone shoul take them without my permission i cannot garentee their safty. . also if you had less of an acid tongue people may actully respect you here you do realsie that dont you. For example i hold no ill will to you i just dotn respect you because you feel you must try to be superior to all you speak to this is not a good think alaistaire." he said coldly

" And you finally join us." Alistaire said, giving a little bow in welcoming. " Surely the written word is not yours as well? A man can lay claim to many things, but knowledge is one of those that is universal." He produced a scroll from his robe and presented it to Morgan. " These are mine as you can see." Sure enough, the paper held only some notes on the skeletal structure and it's manipulation. It was one his own, but one that he had for this very purpose. In the necromancer's logic, there was no way Morgan would be so meticulous as to ward all of his notes with 'powerful magic'. He shuddered at the thought of having to go through the mountains of papers in his office and casting abjurations on them. It would take a certain kind of masochism. " I wouldn't say something so brash as to say I am disrespected here. Disliked, despised, but everyone respects fear. So if you're done extorting me, I'll be leaving."

I can assure you those scrolls are mine written by me iam not bothered by that oen that oen is not mine. iam concerned with the othr ones you hae on your person that you took from my desk without permision. if you wished to borrow them you should hae asked me shouldn't you. you are not the only one who has interest in the human body.Albeit for different reasons. so if yo uwish to borrow my work you ask about it you donot take it. Also none fears you now and fearful respect is fine but waht about geniune respect and good will." said morgan icily. i would joined you sooner exept i was getting stome students from the dark caverns."

" The Warlock doth protest too much. I don't need anyone to respect me, I simply need them to obey. And you would be a fool to think a snake without fangs no longer bears venom." Alistaire said with a groan as he pocketed his scroll and presented the other in a painstakingly slow fashion. He wanted to remember some of the elements so he could check them later. Names, locations, things that would prove useful. After a moment, they all stood in a neat pile on the desk. " I must applaud your ruse. Keeping a level head, forgiving me for my transgressions. You want to be the better man don't you? Playing the part of the calm mage as if you don't urge to send your hound to rip my limbs off. It's a fine trick of the eye, but you may as well drop it. It doesn't fool me." Seeing that his business was done, he bowed again in dimissal and started for the door. " Just one more question if you would. Are you a true warlock? That is to say, did you get your power from contract or through study?"
