Emereck's History:
Emereck is a simpleton, having left home at the tender age of fourteen due to a past he'd rather not recollect. His family was fairly well off so when he'd left he'd taken one of the Clydesdale colts, which he named Lukas and they'd set off into the world from there. He'd managed to make it on his own for some time before coming across an iron mine which he landed a job as a Jagger. Lukas and he had worked for a few years till he was offered a journeyman as a Bloomer where he learned the art of smelting the iron ore into base bars and such. Emereck took the job with excitement, allowing Lukas to have some down time as he'd relied on his friend's help for years to get them by.
At the age of twenty he left the mines, setting out with Lukas in hopes to make it on his own and 'settle' if you would; wanting to hone his craft in blooming plus give Lukas the meadows and pasture he deserved since they couldn't get it in the hills of the iron mines. Having done nothing else he'd accumulated quite the savings but never looks it, spending only what he needed on food and care for Lukas and attires himself in nothing but work clothes. Emereck lives in black overalls and a grey blouse, owning nothing more than a few pairs and well, a few different colored blouses.
Emereck as a whole is a quiet fellow with a bit of a hot temper to him, quick to please but even quicker to anger. He's very compassionate, his soft spot being animals and Lukas at the top; many would agree he cares more for the horse than the people he passes across the street. Emereck is quick to judge too, first impressions last on him and it takes even longer to gain his trust. If you happen to get past his brambly exterior Emereck is truly a guy of simple pleasures, he loves nothing more to create and work with his hands as he's a rather good craftsman, gardener and cook on his spare time when he's not working. He values a hard working lifestyle, and that has turned into a passion of his as he looks down on laziness.
He'd traveled to the land of Sunderland where the era of industry was taking off, word of wise tradesman said he'd be able to make living and more in the land not many ventured to for some reason. Emereck had not bothered to listen to the rest of the tales before he'd made up his mind and set off to Palisade. Although they'd seen a bit of the world in those few years he now has arrived in the city in the cold of winter as a sturdy 23 year old, ready to find his passion and see what this new area has in store; despite the whispers which has seemed to set the inhabitants into panic which he has yet to discover.
