Feel free to increase the risk of owsla encounter for them wink Lendri'roo wants it! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nildro shifted excitedly as she watched the commotion and exciting news settle in. She had so many questions and yet so little answers. The arrival of the new Hlessi to the warren has been the most exciting thing to happen to her since she arrived to this warren with her brother. She almost found Watership Down distasteful and boring but at least it was somewhere she could call home. Besides her brother and her have been through a lot to get here.
Since they're arrival they have kept mainly to themselves. Helping the warren where they could and taking care of each other. However she could not help but feel like this was not her home. Upon these thoughts she got more excited about the arrival of the Hlessi. Maybe she could get close enough to talk to one and ask them about their story. She was not one to pass down an opportunity but rather grab it in her paws and clench it tight. It was just her personality, silent and deadly. A force not to reckon with her brother would say. He may have the strength she lacks but she had the dominance and mind of a powerful opponent.
She moved closer towards the group hoping to single one out or grab the attention of someone.
Lendri'roo moved fast and closely behind as his sister got closer to the new band of hlessi. He was cautious yet intrigued by the new group. They were such an odd bunch of rabbits and he was rather keen to see what there tale was. He eyed most of them sizing them up and thinking of what had put them in such a situation.
He remembered being in their shoes upon his and Nildro's arrival here at Watership Down. However they had been warmly and more then kindly accepted. Who would not accept a buck who could offer such strength and doe with such grace and beauty yet a deadly bite. They had been taking it easy since coming here. He had no desire to join the ranks of Owsla for he felt he had more duty to his sister and to her protection not that of others. He was very protective and many would say even a silent shadow behind his sister.
His hefty paws and sharp claws making a eerily noise as he walked and his breath heavy and fast. His eyes in semi-permanent narrow and frown set upon his face. He did not wonder why many did not talk to him or dare approach his sister without her wanting them too.

Dragon has been alerted! Dragon has three days to make the initial post, otherwise it is assumed you slipped past. Each rper must post at least twice, and one of those posts MUST be responding to the Owsla, before your rabbits can try to transfer again.

Dragon was not exactly the rabbit one would want to meet if you opposed him. He was raised in a hutch but he was no pet. He had fought his way to freedom, and lost his tail on the way. But he had been seen as a warrior, big and strong enough to take down a cat on his own. An old cat, but a cat none the less. He was not related to any large breeds of rabbit, but was just very spacious in his size. He had long claws that he kept sharpened, as well as his teeth. He did not like this group of hlessi. He was a believer in seer's visions, they had predicted true twice for him...and now a third time. He'd not have it. Eyes following a doe and her brother, he snorted and got to his paws, heading towards them with a harsh bound.

Nildro eyed the brusk male heading fast in their direction. She instantly recognized the dark and rough coat of Dragon. How unlucky could they have been to be accompanied by one of the most brute owsla officers. She quickly stopped dead in her tracks not wanting to get to close to hlessi. This could ruin her one opportunity to know more and she was not about to let it happen.
She turned her head to Lendri'roo blocking out the view of Dragon. "We have to make sure we make it to them, got it?" She said in a hushed snappy voice before turning to face the officer cooly. She narrowed her eyes slightly as he approached. Many would not advise one to do so and especially not to Dragon but she had attitude. It was just the way Nildro was and always will be.
Lendri'roo gave his sister a quick nod, not saying much. If that is what she wanted he would make sure to make it happen. He eyed Dragon as he came at them, he was a fairly big sized brute but so was Lendri'roo. Not to mention with claws to match. It was the rabbits like this that made him despise wanting to join the owsla very much, something about how they worked he did not agree with. He finished sizing him up as he approached and made his way in front of Nildro. He was very protective of her in more ways then anyone could understand for very good reasons.
He positioned himself just slightly off to the side but in front of her giving her the distance she may need from Dragon to reach the hlessi. He turned his displeased face to Dragon, waiting to hear what he had to say.

Dragon could already tell just by their positioning they may make a break for the hlessi. He knew nothing of this ragtag band and neither did these two. What did they want? Where had they come from? Their smell was foreign to him, so perhaps they carried an illness that would wipe them all out here. The less contact anyone had with them, the better. He was sure the owlsa would be able to deal with whatever happened here.
He angled his body so his face was to Nildro but his eyes were on Lendri'roo. He was not fond of these two, but he had little reason other than the fact that they were a little odd. Not pitchweed and wildwood odd, but odd enough. He dug his claws into the dirt patch and puffed himself up as he stood onto his back legs. "No-one else is to speak with them. Not until the owsla have finished and perhaps not beyond that." He lifted his gums to reveal a sharp fang, challenging them to disagree.

The hlessi had already turned to leave, having been told to stay in the woods just beyond the down's scrapes in the outskirts. It was a little bit of a trek and much of the journey was in the open, but it was not impossible and certainly not nearly as far as Lark, Feather Ear, and Gingerpaw had ventured in their actual days as hlessi with the survivors of their original warren. They had to vacate the premises by the next day, that was what Bracken-rah had told them and they would need to do their bests to avoid detection from here on out.
Lark led the group downwards, as he had so far, but paused for a moment and glanced back. He caught sight of the doe and the buck, who's colours certainly reminded him of hutch rabbits. He could not tell if they were bucks or does from that distance, but they seemed to want to head off with the hlessi and he knew they must have been desperate to leave the down if they were willing to blatantly leave in front of much of the down. It seemed an owsla was already interfering. Lark was not about to risk himself - not yet, not until the others were safely away and their goal would not be so obvious, but he still hung back enough that he could meet with them either after they bolted or after Dragon let them be.
Really, forcing rabbits to stay was in bad taste anyway. If others were desperate to leave and saw it, they'd be probably be more inclined to make a break for it... Which really was exactly what he needed. He needed rabbits wanting to make a break for it, like these two.
He motioned for the group to carry on without him and hunkered down in the snow, doing his best to remain obscure, perhaps mistaken for a rock or something of that nature, and locked his pale eyes on the trio.

She cocked her head to the rabbit they deemed a proper owsla. She narrowed her eyes even more taking his words on as almost a challenge. She did not see what concern they had with them talking to the new rabbits. Surely they were not this afraid. If Frair-rah had led them here it must have been for a purpose. It seemed rude to turn them down and more so without any offer to help. The warren was struggling yes but we had seen worst times. Besides what if these rabbit do find a home and prosper and one day we are in their pawprints. "I think we know what is about to happen here Dragon" she said with a clear and assertive voice as she flicked one ear and turned to race for the Hlessi group. She did not care what the warren would think of them, they were not known well here anyways. This was not meant to be their home.
At the flick of Nildro's ear Lendri'roo understood her, in one swift motion he placed himself boldly in between her and Dragon. It would give her the advantage she would need to make it to them. He would have to deal with Dragon himself. He turned his head with ears held flat back against his head and body ready to fight. He would do anything for his sister even if it meant losing every limb. She had gone through enough and he made a vow to the prince of rabbits himself that he would always protect her. It was that very vow that had kept her alive and the reason behind his scars. Each mark he felt honoured with, he knew each one represented something more than anyone would realize.
He reared up on his back hind legs to match with Dragon and made one swift blow at the owsla's head with his own head. He would do his best to give his sister enough time to go.
[OOC// not sure if we roll to work this out so did not wanna make to much of a move left it vague]

(( if a fight comes to blows we'll use a modified and simpler version of the fight rolls in Raids. Each rabbit participating will roll a d4 on their turn. 1 - Miss or a light hit not resulting in much damage (does NOT count as a hit) 2 or 3 - Hit, light to moderate. (Counts as one hit to hp) 4 - Hit, heavy damage. Could result in scarring. (Counts as two hits to hp)
For the sake of simplicity non-specific adult does will have 4 HP, non-specific adult bucks will have 5 HP. Outskirters ( I don't think there's any present here) will only have 2 HP (that'll show ya, disrespecting your elders 8| )
Dragon will have 7 HP, due to rank and such.
at 1 HP your rabbit is too wounded to keep fighting, at 0 HP you're unconscious. At -1 HP or lower your rabbit will perish.
But I doubt it'll come to that. ))

[Rolling for Lendri'roo's attack for his post above]
EDIT For Results//
Ledri'roo felt his thick skull connect with the officers head. A loud sounded and then came the pain, however Lendri'roo did not feel it. His adrenaline made him hear his own heart beat pounding in his ears. He knew he had made a solid connection and stood back waiting for the officers next move. He bared his teeth and shifted his sharp claws against the dark ground

Dragon attack: 1 Dragon current HP: 5
Dragon knew what they were doing. He tried to feign left, to get around to the doe before they, in his mind, sealed their fate. But it was too late for that. His eyes clenched and he shook his head, his ears ringing, feeling great pain in his mouth, as if a tooth may have been knocked askew. No time to plan for that now, though!
He charged the buck with his mass and reared up, starting to rapidly bunny-punch his face and neck, trying to get his head down.

Lendri'roo lightly lowered his head as the blows came but soon lifted his head again to go for a swipe to the officers face. He reached but his speed was to slow and he felt him just graze the officers head missing the blow.

Dragon's attack: 1 hp Dragon's HP: 5
Dragon snorted that attack off and leaned towards the buck's back, trying to get his neck skin between his sharp teeth, claws swiping around his sides and giving him a sort of embrace, all his nails digging into the fur, trying to break through that spotted skin. As he did so, he snarled through his teeth. "You are going to regret it-" he panted. "-if your sister loses you."

Lendri'roo snarled and gave a decent kick into the officer to lose his grip and throw him off balance. His words just angered him even more, he knew he was right though. He had to make sure he would make it okay.
