Captain Alexander Lawrence

It would be hard for Lawrence to tell you exactly who he is right now. No longer a naval captain, he finds himself less and less the gentleman and more and more the thief. He finds that the profession suits him. The strategy and cunning he once employed in naval battles and navigation he now puts to use robbing the rich society types who took al that away from him. It's satisfying to say the least. Not to mention the freedom that comes with the lifestyle. He lives alone, he drinks and gambles as much and as often as he wants, and he can bring whomever he wants back to his modest but well furnished living quarters.

For now this is good. He's getting back on his feet--without his family and without his status. He knows he's becoming a different person, he's no longer the gentleman officer he used to be, and beneath the lusty anger of his newfound freedom he feels a greater purpose calling. For now he's decided to leave the discovery of that purpose for a later date and a more confident stable version of himself.
