tabtabtabDionysia Terence was born in 1927 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was born with the unfortunate name of Dorthy Anne Terence and would be later given the nickname Dot by her older brother.
tabtabtabDionysia spent most of her early childhood on the family tobacco farm with her parents and her older brothers. Her brothers where 20, 16, and 12 years older than her and all three spoiled their little sister rotten. For the first 5 years of Dionysia's life she never knew sadness or felt a cruel hand. She never went without and never wanted for anything.
tabtabtabEverything changed with the Great Depression. The oldest two of her brothers went away to find work after the bank threatened to foreclose on their farm. The brother left at home would marry his childhood sweetheart and move into a cottage at the other end of the farm. Dionysia suddenly had a lot of alone time. Eventually her brother's efforts to make money would fail and they would lose their farm. Dionysia's father sent her and her mother away to Charleston, South Carolina to live with his older sister. While she was there, Dionysia would finally attend a school and get the education her parents hadn't been able to afford back home in Georgia. They would stay in Georgia during World War 2 and Dionysia would be marked on the eve of her 15th birthday, the night she learned of her father's passing.
tabtabtabDionysia would then attend the Savannah House of Night. She wrote to her mother and brothers on a daily bases telling them every detail of her lessons and the other fledglings she lived with. Dionysia would keep contact with her human family until each of their passing's.
tabtabtabIt was at the Savannah House of Night that she met Charles. Charles and Dionysia shared that epic first love that most only read about. They where nuts for each other. You never saw one without the other. However, tragedy would strike when Dionysia was a 6th former. Charles had made the change to Vampyre and was traveling to New York where he had an audition for a show on Broadway. His entourage was attacked by a group of cultists claiming to be People of the Faith. Charles wouldn't survive the attack and Dionysia was devastated. She was never the same. She put all of her time and energy into becoming a famous actress to ignore her pain but wouldn't succeed. She was the lead in a number of Broadway hits but would leave the lime light when memories of Charles threatened to take her sanity.
tabtabtabAfter a few years to herself she was able to accept Charles' passing and regain some of her serenity. She now enjoys her job teaching Fledglings at the Columbia House of Night where memories of Charles are far away.

tabtabtabDionysia is a loud character. She loves to laugh and have a good time. She also enjoys entertaining. Whether she does it on purpose or if its a subconscious decision, she will go out of her way to keep the atmosphere around her light and cheerful. She hates negative emotions and usually wears a smile. She is also very charitable. She loves helping people with their problems and doesn't expect anything back but a thank you. She is friendly with all and rarely has a mean word to say. She is reserved when it comes to one thing however, she detests People of the Faith. She is of the mind that nothing good ever comes from their involvement and will have nothing to do with anyone that practices their beliefs.
