The death hunter was curious as to just what her sempai was doing. Gale had been a bit off last time they had talked and it had been a while since then. Too long in Solia's opinion. She needed to get more training and find out about more death things. Like the secrets. She got promoted! To.. not bottom rung trainee! It was great! Surely, Gale would be willing to share secrets now!
Okay maybe not but she could hope.
Wandering in the death offices coffee, (not runic) in hand, Solia went on a hunt for the hunter. Huntception.
"Gallllleeeeeee." Because that was sneaky. "Hey Galeeeeeee~."

"Your feet are on my feet."
"So move your feet."
"You move yours."
With a scowl that could have rivaled a certain Death lead's, Gale shifted in his seat, crossing one leg over the other. Beside him, his golem form several inches taller than his owner, Jinhai made a soft, derisive noise that may or may not have been a snort of amusement.
"I told you, this golem is fine. A bit weird, yes, but fine."
"I'm just checking," said Gale, lifting one of Jinhai's hands and examining his wrist, a thoughtful expression on his face. "And then we're going to look a bit more into the Halloween database, I want to see if Mei-Xiu's gotten any new inform - "
A voice calling his name made him lift his head, Gale's brows furrowing in slight bemusement. But the face that peered around the corner of the doorway was familiar, if not slightly surprising.
"Solia?" he said, lifting his brows. "It's...hey. What are you doing here?"

Solia didn't expect Gale to have company. Then again, Solia never really expected anything. "Did I come in at a bad time?" Looking at the halloweenish creature she blinked, stared then- "AREYOUDOINGWEAPONIZATIONS?" High pitched, excited, Solia was smiling ear to ear. "CanIwatchIpromisenottogetinthewayandI'llbereallyquiet." To prove her point she went silent, staring waiting, hoping To see the 'process'. Solia... Shhhh wemightgettoseethething Solia he doesn't feel- SHHHHHH ........Solia......Israfel mad a small huff in her head.

He couldn't remember the last time he had seen Solia, but if he thought about it long enough, he remembered something about flowers and saying really embarrassing things and -
Okay, new train of thought. Jinhai arched one dark brow, glanced at Gale with some amusement, and flicked his golem tail to the side, idly curling the end around one of his ankles.
"Er," said Gale. "Not...no. This is..."
He looked up at Jinhai, then back at Solia. "This is Jinhai," he said, leaning back in his chair. "His name is Jinhai. And he's - "
"I'm Gale's weapon," interjected the dragon, a slow smile curving his lips upwards. "Or, well, I am when I'm not stuffed into a mud-caked body such as this one."
Gale rolled his eyes. "Right. He's my weapon, my sniper rifle. His consciousness has just been transferred into a golem for examination." He looked back at Solia. "Did you need something from me?"

Oh! Calming down, Solia nodded before smiling at Jinhai. "It's nice to meet you Jinhai." A new name to memorize. She'd have to work on that. "I've never met a weapon before. Well, not as a golem? I don't think Isra counts as he's well, mine." The siren huffed in her head. He did too count. "The golems aren't too bad though. I mean, you're not smelly or anything! And yes! Well, sort of." Jinhai to Gale, Solia looked at the various golem pods. "I was going to get Isra a while later and ask you questions before hand, buttttt~" She looked at Jinhai then at her sempai. "Would you be okay if I got him out now before I asked you a bunch of questions?"

"And you," said Jinhai agreeably, even as the tail of his golem wrapped around one of Gale's ankles and tugged, Gale giving the dragon a steely eyed look that indicated no messing around. He glanced back at Solia and gave her a slightly forced smile. "It's a new thing they're doing; it's only temporary, but it gives us a chance to examine our weapons in a golem form."
He followed Solia's gaze around the room and nodded, his shoulders rising and falling in a shrug. "Feel free. I don't mind as long as Jinhai doesn't."
"I'm fine."
"He's fine."
Isra. Why does that name sound so familiar..?

An exuberant grin the death trainee made her way to the various panels, looking over at a schedual before approaching a nearby life tech to 'bring forth the beast!' A skip to a pod later, the hiss and clank of gears had Solia's sole attention. When the pod door opened, the golem inside hesitated blue eyes staring at Solia before smiling. "Hello." He said, followed by a small chirp. Solia's reaction was to hug him. Then quickly tug him out from the pod, causing the weapon to stumble slightly. "Solia! Please I've not been in a body for a while!" Still, the siren golem had a smile on before looking to Gale and Jinhai. "Hello to you both as well." "This is Isra! My bow!" "Israfel. And I'm a siren. Or rather, was." As Isra focused on inspecting his golem, twitching earwings and all, Solia looked to Gale expectant.

Jinhai was giving Gale a sideways look as Solia skipped off towards the pod, but Gale merely shook his head, still lost in thought as he tried to figure out just why the name Isra had sounded so familiar.
I feel as though I've heard it before...like I've...
"Solia!"
The voice rang out through the room, and Gale froze where he sat, one hand drawn up to absently touch his chin. Beside him he heard Jinhai shift, the golem's tail wrapping further around Gale's ankle in an almost protective gesture.
...what?
At first he thought it was just an illusion, someone playing a trick on him. But the face that looked out at him now was no game, no trick of the light. The pale face, the bright blue plumage, the bright smile...recognition slammed into Gale's stomach as though it were a knife.
"Nice to meet you Gale Gentry, that is a very pretty name."
"I don't want to fight Mr. Gentry okay! Just like I told the boil with the pretty white hair I wont hurt you guys anymore."
"I also promised to not kill or be mean. Like right now! I don't want to hurt and the professor said we have to live along side humans so I think that is a much nicer thing to do right?"
"I'd rather make friends."
"So we can be friends okay? Hi Gale Gentry, I am Israfel, and we can be friends yes?"
Jinhai gave him a warning look. Gale swallowed hard.
"Nice to meet you, Israfel," he said quietly. "This is Jinhai, my weapon."
The dragon extended a hand, a calm smile on his face as he reached towards the former siren. "Hello, Isra. A pleasure to meet you."

"He's great right?" Solia asked, though clearly her own mind having made such a decision long ago. "How does it feel Isra? The golem is okay right?" The Siren's attention went from his hands to his hunter, nodding. "It's fine. Just... Odd. I don't think I can fly like this." Experimentally he stretched his wings, shaking his head. Blinking then staring briefly at Jinhai, Isra took the hand and gave it a small shake. "Yes! I've not any weapons before, at least, I don't recall if I had. Though-" His head turning to Solia, the girl looked down a bit sheepishly. "Mmmm actually... I was kind of um... wondering. Gale." She sighed. "I read an old report saying you met Isra? Before he was a weapon I mean. I was kind of wondering if you might tell me about it? I've been well-" "-She wants to help me figure out what it is I have forgotten." The siren seems content and calm, while Solia was attempting not to look guilty. "She thinks you might be annoyed with her for asking." The hunter wanted to sink into the floor.

Jinhai was giving Gale a sidelong glance that he was studiously ignoring. It was one thing to be talking with the Halloween students, especially ones as open-minded as Israfel. It was an entirely different thing to see them actually weaponized.
He thought of Mei-Xiu again, then shoved it aside.
"You won't be able to fly," said Jinhai, linking his fingers together against the small of his back. "These golems aren't meant for too much, unfortunately."
Solia's words dragged Gale back from his inner thoughts, and his eyes flickered towards her weapon involuntarily, moving slowly across the slightly too-flat face, the minute details that made this Israfel and not Israfel simultaneously.
"...I have," he said quietly. He rubbed his temples with his fingers, the beginnings of a headache. "We...fought once. It was..."
He trailed off, still staring at Israfel's golem. "He was very...kind."
The word tasted foreign on his tongue.

Solia gave Isra a small shove for his openness. It didn't bother her when it was just her, but out loud was a bit embarrassing. "No flight then? Pity, I would have liked to try again. Perhaps you can save and ask for such an enhancement Solia?" The siren pressed his cheek to the hunter's making a small coo. Solia shoved at his face, though she was nodding. Bright blue eyes, lacking in the vibrant hue he once had stared at Gale. "I recall nothing of you. I apologize if I distress you though. I-" Solia huffed, shoving him again. "Dummy, no one expects you to remember." Isra blushed, looking to Gale, slightly concerned. He really did hope he wasn't a source of distress once upon a time. "But he was kind? That sounds like him? Did you tell you anything about himself? Why he became a weap-" She froze, a heavy sigh from Israfel followed by his falling on top of the short hunter head on top of her bun. "..What happened?"

"Golems are weak, unfortunately," said Jinhai smoothly, with another sidelong glance at Gale, who was still ignoring him. "They're made of clay, after all, so they don't have the same sort of...abilities as our previous bodies."
There was an odd twinge to the dragon's voice, almost a note of sadness. But whatever it was, it was gone within seconds, and he was back to wearing that calm, controlled expression.
"He was...different," said Gale slowly, tapping a finger against his cheek. "He was...well, he didn't want to fight me, that was for certain.
"...but I'm sorry," he said quietly. "I don't know...what happened after that."

Golems were weak, and the lack of even the prospect of flight has Israfel cooing softly, still leaning on his hunter. "Hmmm what do you miss Jinhai?" Blue eyes looked at the dragon while earwings flattened to his head. Solia was still focused on Gale. Different she knew, but was he that different? "Him not fighting sounds accurate." Reaching up, she touched his hair for a moment. "... It's odd, to think they used to be flesh and blood. Sort of." Smiling Solia looked the her senior hunter. "It's okay. I mean, you helped confirm he wasn't violent or anything. Do you know if he was a student or... he was just a little scatter brained birdie?"

Jinhai looked vaguely surprised by the question. "What do I miss?" he repeated, and his tail flicked sideways, away from Gale's leg, the dragon lapsing into thought. A face flickered into view in his thoughts, but he pushed it aside, unwilling to try and remember that.
"I suppose...the freedom," he said, with a small laugh. "It's kind of hard to do things when you're merely a voice in someone's head."
Gale watched him closely, then said, his gaze moving to Israfel, "He was a student. I don't remember what year, but he was a student at Amityville."
A small smile. "But still a scatter brained birdie."

Israfel pulled from Solia, wings shuffling. He'd need to deal with the urge to fly. "Freedom... Gale lets you out, and we all have choices of what we wish to do and who we are. While we are chained... We have gained. That is what I like to think." Solia giggled, looking to Israfel before giving a shrug. "He's really sweet though, and smart sometimes." Isfa made a small huff. "....Sometimes?" His coo was small. "But you've helped Gale. After all, some information is better than none!" Israfel was the one who turned to bow at the hunter. "Yes, thank you. And you Jinhai. It is one step closer to the past." "If I think of anything else to ask can I come bother you again?" Solia hoped so.
