Your group has been shuffled into one of them, with a copy of the book: Natural Forms and You
Read and research the book, or slack off and do nothing for an hour. The choice is yours.

Fiona scooped up the book as they were all schuffled into a study room. Fiona laid the book down carefully and pulled a seat out and made herself as comfortable as possible. With a flick of her hand the ghoul opened the book and began to read.

It should be lucky that there were more than one copies of the book they chose, it so happened that there were six sitting oh the shelf. Thus, each of them can have one to read, no need to share.
AJ wasn't really happy about the meeting with Avery was so short, he would like more time to pester with the librarian, who suspected to be a fluffy minis.
He entered the tiny room with others, found a seat and leaned forward for his book. The boil checked the content of it because he was sure that they didn't have so much time to finish that book.
"Maybe each of us can read one or a few chapters while jotting down notes? I don't think we have time to finish it afterall." He suggested to the group.

TG followed along, walking under the table and puffing in a plume of smoke before appearing in one of the empty chairs. Sitting, his eyes met the top of the table and he frowned. This entire place was not short-friendly.
Sighing, he stood up on his chair instead and leaned his elbows on the table, bringing out Plants vs Humans on his phone and starting a game. "Why not just look up the StiffNotes for that book?"

Andrew made sure everyone made it into the room, before shutting the door behind them. (Yes he is last in the room. Tough, he’s making sure Enzo doesn’t run away.) He was glad he had avoided grouping up with any undead. Or worst, dogs. Once everyone was shuffled in, he flopped into one of the open seat and laid his head down in his arms. Read? Did AJ actually think he was going to read? “Like TG said, just give me the highlights ok?” Andrew poked at the book on the table with a single finger. Was it fire proof? Probably not. “Or you could just tell us about your natural form. The source of all books is those who know about the subject right?”

The roc only vaguely looked up as the rest of the group followed in behind her. Andrew quickly brought up the rear and shut them all in the study room. She looked up as AJ talked and then smiled. "That's a good suggestion AJ. And if you DID just want to get the stiffnotes version and use that too it works." She nodded slowly as she thought and decided she really wanted to read the book. Before she dove back into her copy Fiona leaned over and flipped open Andrew's copy to one of the chapter summaries. "The chapter summaries are pretty helpful too." She could feel her cheeks warming once she finished and the ghoul flipped her hair behind her shoulder as she began scanning pages again.

Amphi was not far behind the other students and opted for sitting next to TG and around Andrew. Though she was a mermaid, she didn't mind fire creatures and in fact enjoyed them a little more then her species should.
"Well does everyone have a um...Natural...form...?" She flushed as she looked at all the younger students. Oh my jack first and second years abound and she was probably the oldest of them all and that somehow made her feel obligated to like take care of them.
Her face was tomatoish as she fiddled with her copy of the book.
"I mean for some of us even, it's hard to really explain our natural forms." The mermaid had always been one to skip the details on her form. It was pretty obvious, she turned into half a fish. The bottom half not the top, let's not be weird guys.
"What is stiffnotes?" She looked at TG curiously.

"Yeah yeah yeah," Enzo grunted as he flopped into a seat beside Fiona before hefting his feet up on the table and looking over the cover of the book, "You guys have fun with that."He gave the roc-ghoul beside him a look over before smirking and promptly used the book to shield his eyes in leau of his missing cap.
It had been a long day already, and he was tired. "My natural form is too busy for this malarkey." By busy he meant lazy.

“Take a nap then.” Andrew told the reaper. He still didn’t have the boil’s name, but he’d get it soon enough. He had honestly never expected the reaper to actually work, nor did he care. He was just meeting the numbers quota. He pulled out his eye-phone and started working with it, looking up the spark notes. Its screen was a lot more comfortable and he knew it could withstand a little heat. He didn’t even pay the book that Fi had flipped open for him a spare glance opting for the much easier way of doing things. His fingers worked with the eye phone, quickly getting what he wanted and he plugged an earphone in one ear. Read? What was read? He only did that if there were no other option and right now he had a little contraption to do that portion for him. All he had to do was listen. He didn’t push play just yet though. “No, with me what you see is what you get.” His tail swished a little. “I came to get an idea of what those with one could do with it. You never know when it might be useful.” Amphi was half mermaid right? That meant she could turn into well half fish he assumed. “Although humans seem to be scared of big things with lots of teeth, how is a mermaid scary? I mean you are a very nice looking ghoul…. Unless humans are afraid of you drowning them.” He suddenly realized how dangerous Amphi could be and swished his tail away from her. “You wouldn’t do that to me, would you?” water creatures made him nervous, add that to the long list.

Amphi startled when Andrew spoke to her before looking down at herself. She was told she could be VERY scary.
"Well, I suppose thats the basic mythology behind my kind. It's hard to resist temptation and mermaids are um...." She struggled with her words, to make it sound more scientific. "Mermaids are very good at using temptation. Because we're pretty, and because we have voices that are meant to lull and entice humans....and sometimes Halloween creatures..." She totally was thinking of you Roch.
"In particular, My kind actually would drag humans down to the deep and feed off their flesh." She smiled and pointed at her baby fangs, which actually lengthed in her natural form, " I have big sharp scary teeth in my natural form!" Not all of her teeth were though, just her canines.
Her head whipped up to Andrew again then smiled, albeit her face was red but still it was a smile.
"No no no, I would never do that to you or Danny or any other fire creature. As long as you guys don't get me excited....." she waited a beat and tilted her head a little..."Or make me mad....."

Alas, for these students, nap time was not this time. As the book was opened and pages turned, nothing seemed to be happening, but then a flicker. A small green flicker of light from the spine of the book. As quick as it appeared, it vanished. For a while, nothing followed. Not a flicker of light, not a trace of sound. Peace did not last long in the library. A snap, the book flew into the air and thick, green vines shot out from the book, latching onto anything they could reach. Roots spread from the pages, latching into the ceiling and a hulking man eating plant monsters appeared from the pages with a shrill cry. Quote: A monster has been summoned from your book! Andrew scooted away seeing those fangs. Don’t make the mermaid mad. Got it. “I…” he hadn’t paying any attention to the book, instead he had been more interested in his eye-phone, still plugged in one ear and Amphi. So he was completely un-prepared for the vines to shoot out of the book and latch onto him. Whatever sentence he was going to make was lost as he shrieked and pulled away from vines. His hands set on fire in his attempt to tear the thing off. “Get it off get it off get it off!” panic had set in and his tail blazed. It hurt! If tears could come, they would have as it was his was already starting to shake from the fear of being eaten alive. Not that a flame demon would make a good snack. But rational was out the window at the moment. HP: 19/30 target: plant monster Damage: 0

AJ didn't answer Andrew's question, he just listened as the flame demon asked the mermaid. It was interesting to be a listener sometimes. The group seemed to have no motivation on Selene's assignment. AJ smirked when he though of how the snake lady will react to that. Only Fiona was reading the book, maybe he too, Andrew and Amphi were chatting, one was playing games on phone and another took this good opportunity for a nap. Well, very well. They got different types of creeple in this group, would there be any fluffy natural form?
The serpent-dragon put his attention to the mermaid, mermaid should have beautiful scales, right? He wondered how lovely her scales might be. Then, he shifted his attention to Fiona, her wings have lovely feathers......
Ok, some excitements were good, but not creatures with shrills. That would remind him of the stupid elves! Even more, that stupid thing hurt his friends?
No way. His eye squinted as Andrew started to shake. That was a sign.
"Get. away. from. my friends!" AJ was smiling, albeit the red in his eyes were glowing. His black nails were growing sharp with least notice.

Fiona listened as the mermaid student, Amphi? Gave everyone the low down on her natural form. The ghoul stopped reading to listen fully to her. Fiona gulped slightly as she imagined being drug down to the murky depths and being someone's dinner. She shook off the creepy feeling and looked at the other students when all of a sudden. The book pages began to flip and something began to crawl from the pages. Fiona shoved her seat beat and fought to stay free from the clutches of the vines. If there was anything more she hated than having her wings pinned down it was her friends being in danger. Fiona whipped her head to Andrew as he called out. "Andrew!" She flicked her wigs open and without thinking attacked the plant monster. Unfortunately her attacks seemed to miss, Fiona glanced at everyone with a worried expression. HP: 30/30 Target: Plant Monster Damage: 0

Amphi nodded her head, her hair bouncing behind the seat as she practically sparkled. She was the oldest student of the group and thus, probably had the greatest handle on her natural form.
"Although, since we are at school....It's a good thing we have our skull-" As she started to talk again, her mouth went slack at the giant wrap of vines that went after Andrew.
No...No not the younger students!
"H..Hey!" She grabbed the vine, and using the same technique that she did for healing, snapped the vine with her FEAR and threw it over her shoulder. "Ah, Jack! Your hurt!" Amphi ignored the vines to look over at Andrew and his wounds. "I can heal you after we take care of this thing okay? Just stay behind me! All of you!"
Because they were younger students and it was probably best that she took care of the monster so none of them seriously got hurt.
