 Adalaide was busy. She was looking for the perfect flower to act as the centerpiece of the little corwn she had woven for herself out of vines and grass. Every Princess needed a crown and though her mother thus far refused to get her a real one she was still determined to have one..and so she had made it. Or most of it. It was still lacking that perfect center point, the wonderful flower that would make everyone oooh and ahhh when she went home wearing it.
But finding that perfect flower was turning out to be harder then she thought and she had been looking for quite a while now, wandering here and there until she found herself rather close to the stream that ran through the herds home. Well perhaps a lily would work, lilies (if she recalled correctly and she was sure she did, princess' were never wrong..) grew near the water..or perhaps it was in the water. Well it made no matter really - the point was that she needed to go towards the water. Trotting towards the rushing waters she paused for a second...had she heard something?
Turning her head this way and that she pricked her ears to try and capture the sound again - She had! there it was again a tiny..almost unnoticeable little mewling sound. Forgetting about the flowers for a moment Adaliade made her way towards the sound and discovered - quite to her horror that it was coming from a very tiny kitten, a bobcat perhaps..though it was hard to tell with the way it was caught up in the mud like that. It needed help - that much was obvious but well..it was in the mud. Clearly she couldn't run in to help it! No this was a job for someone else and turning on her heels she fled back towards the herd calling out for her brother, he was always talking about being a knight someday - well this was just the sort of things Knight's did right? Protected the innocent..rescued the young?

 Aww man, didn't save his foal cert in time. Amethune lazily trotted through the herd, weaving in and out of its residents. Life was boring in the shelter of the little group. The lack of excitement these days was killing him. Was a little adventure too much to ask for?
Yes... yes it was. Ame thought. According to his father, to have an uneventful day was a good day. A good day?! I am Amethune! Son of Obsidian and grandson of Moam! Blood dictates I have an exciting life! He snorted at the end of that thought and set out to find his sisters. Maybe a little sibling teasing would help.
Ame slowed to a walk and swiveled his head, scanning the area for any signs of pink or purple. He spotted Helena talking with his mother. Well, that rules out one. He can think of many better things to do than listen to those two chat about royal stuff. Just as he was about to give up searching for his other sister, her voice called out to him from a distance. Back up to a trot, Amethune followed the sound.

xX_TRIBUTE_GAMER_Xx Sorry for the slow response, was ill all last week.
"Amethune!" She called out again "I'm glad I found you, someone is in need of your help." She stated in a serious voice when they drew close enough for her to speak without any more equally unladylike shouting. She didn't tell him who it was because she wasn't entirely sure her brother would care to spend time rescuing a kitten, so she decided to make it sound exciting and dangerous in order to get him intrigued before they made it to the kitten. "Quickly by the stream, someone is in danger!"

Amethune trotted up to his sister, becoming increasingly disappointed at her lack of playfulness. What is everyone's problem today? Playtime should be mandatory! Just as Ame was contemplating whether or not someone could actually die from boredom, Adalaide broke his train of thought.
Someone needs my help! Something to do!
He puffed out his little chest and held his head high. Ame had been begging his father for more responsibilities. Finally a chance to prove himself! At the mention of danger though, he got a little nervous. Hopefully his sister didn't notice.
"Danger? Quickly then, show me!" Amethune bolted into the brush and heading for the stream as fast as his nobby legs could carry him.

Well...at least he seemed to grasp the importance of the situation, Adalaide thought to herself as her brother suddenly bolted off. Still she rather wished he'd run off in a more stately fashion - I mean really, her was a Prince right? Shaking her head slightly she tried to hurry after him as fast as she could while still looking dignified while doing it.
So while she lagged behind her brother, shouting out instructions to direct him while he barreled off ahead they still managed to reach the stream in a somewhat decent timeframe and peering over the edge of the stream bank she was pleased to see the pitiful kitten still alive...and still stuck. "Down there..do you see? That little kitten is stuck in the mud. It'll starve if someone doesn't get it out" She stated while giving her brother a pointed look. She sure as heck wasn't getting muddy to do it.
