This thread is for the Metaplot round 1 battle for Blake. Only a member of staff or Sunlit.Rains should post here.

Subtract -5 from attacks that use an element the target is resistant to. Add +5 to attacks the target is weak against.
To battle, first make a post rolling the die stating only the action that you are doing. Once the total has been calculated, go edit the post with an actual short paragraph of action.
Be sure to state what it is you are doing in each post, keep a tally of your current HP at the bottom of your post. If you gain HP be sure to note how much you had before the healing was done, followed by what it is AFTER the healing.

All of the Possessed humans have glowing eyes. It was speculated that the color hinted at which element the Malice controlling the human was most attuned to. Blue for water/ice, red for fire, purple for wind, green for earth/plant. Other colors were present for those with other elements. Avon had taken volunteers to go out and rescue these humans from the grasp of the Malices, together they went down to the town and spread out to fight off any possessed humans.
Your Meta has run into a possessed human. They both face each other, ready for a fight. The human makes the first move, sending out an elemental attack aimed to slow down your Meta.

Blake wasn't exactly surprised when he ran into the possessed human. His danger senses had been telling him something was up for a bit now. He was still a bit thrown off when he'd come face to face with them though. Their eyes glowing an unnatural red making their possession obvious. Part of him had wanted to flee, he wasn't ready for a real battle. He'd only just grown into his new teen body and was still adjusting both to his new size and his powers. Also there was the gnawing fear he was going to lose, he was going to get hurt like the times he'd been bullied by other kids, only this was worse. The possessed human probably had more malice then any of his bullies had, and wheras punching a bully in the face wouldn't bother him, he didn't really want to hurt the host human. It didn't seem very heroic at all.
Suddenly Blake wasn't given much more time to think as a fiery attack hit him straight away. He dropped to the ground and quickly rolled to make sure none of his clothes were on fire. It didn't help the spots on his skin that were exposed and had been burned though. As Blake hissed in pain he reached down into himself searching for the power of healing he knew he had within him. Normally it activated on its own over time, but he couldn't wait now. When the power came to life the stinging on his burns began to dull and he stood and faced the human ready for their next move.

Oh, so the Meta could heal itself? He frowned, how annoying. He'd wanted to squish this one right off the bat instead of having to dance around for awhile. He held out his hands, two large fireballs forming in them. He then threw one after another at Blake.

Blake was finding it really unfortunate that he was fighting against someone so ranged when his own powers all required skin to skin contact. He knew he was going to have to try to get close, and probably take some damage while doing it. He wanted to minimize it though, so he was going to try to defend himself as much as possible by tucking down and rolling towards his attacker. As the possessed human threw fireballs at him, Blake did just that. It helped a little, but he still got hit with most of the damage. At least the gap between them was closed though.

He ignored how close Blake was getting, after all, this kind wasn't really much of a threat. As soon as he got closer, he stopped the fireballs in favor of a flaming punch.

As Blake was hit with a flaming punch, he reached and grabbed the part of the man's arm that wasn't covered in flame and channeled as much of his poison power into the man's skin as he could muster.

Damage Dealt: 21
((I'm thinking it might make sense with this kind of attack since it makes the person being touched feel ill if they took a -5 penalty for a turn or two, up to you though))

He grunted in pain, feeling like something was off. He decided it was probably better not to touch this one again. He backed off, but summoned up a fireball aimed for Blake's head.

[next roll I'll deduct -5 HP in addition to Blake's roll if he attacks, and then one more after that. C: ]

Blake dodged the fireball aimed for his head narrowly and dashed a bit to the side. He focused on healing himself up a bit and then faced the man, ready for more of a battle.

There it went again, the pain. He groan before shaking his head and glaring to the pink haired teen. Growling he took a large breath of air before releasing a flame from his mouth.

Blake grimmanced as he was hit with the flame breath. It hurt bad enough that he wanted to back off a bit and heal up but he knew that wasn't an option, he had to get closer for more skin contact. He grabbed the nearest limb he could reach and focused on transferring as much of whatever it was he emitted that made people hallucinate. Once he was sure it was starting to take effect he kicked the guy hard in the stomach.

He took the kick to the stomach, having been distracted by the pain the poison was causing him. He fired off a fireball, but his aim was off due to the pain.
