This thread is for the Metaplot round 1 battle for Mandi. Only a member of staff or Sunlit.Rains should post here.

Subtract -5 from attacks that use an element the target is resistant to. Add +5 to attacks the target is weak against.
To battle, first make a post rolling the die stating only the action that you are doing. Once the total has been calculated, go edit the post with an actual short paragraph of action.
Be sure to state what it is you are doing in each post, keep a tally of your current HP at the bottom of your post. If you gain HP be sure to note how much you had before the healing was done, followed by what it is AFTER the healing.

All of the Possessed humans have glowing eyes. It was speculated that the color hinted at which element the Malice controlling the human was most attuned to. Blue for water/ice, red for fire, purple for wind, green for earth/plant. Other colors were present for those with other elements. Avon had taken volunteers to go out and rescue these humans from the grasp of the Malices, together they went down to the town and spread out to fight off any possessed humans.
Your Meta has run into a possessed human. They both face each other, ready for a fight. The human makes the first move, sending out an elemental attack aimed to slow down your Meta.

Mandi desperately wanted to do something to help, to fight these bad things that were possessing people. Her mane, Calix, had said they were very bad and that Mandi should try to stay away and protect herself. She didn't really want to listen at all but she guessed that maybe Calix was right. There wasn't much she could do in a child's body and for once she wished she could be older. But only for the fighting and helping, otherwise she was more then happy to stay a child for a while. Being a child was fun after all.
Even though Mandi had tried to stay away from the possessed humans and the people with manes, in the end she bumped into one of them and they'd turned their red glowing possessed eyes on her. She had no idea what to do and stood there a bit frozen when a fire attack came zooming towards her. Her agile reflexes kicked in and she dodged out of the way trying to miss most of the attack. She managed to cut the damage almost in half but it had still hurt!
"Ow ow ow....so mean." She pouted a bit at the human who had attacked her.

Oh she was a nimble one, but still a child. Laughing to herself, she send another wave of flames at Mandi's feet.

Next thing Mandi knew there were flames racing towards her on the ground. She stared at them blankly for a second, not really sure if just running away from them would help very much or not when a soft weak voice spoke up in her mind. "Phase." Her mane reminded her of a more effective way to defend herself. She grinned broadly and then activated her phasing power and then ran through the flames to get behind the woman attacking her before going solid and pushing her into the flames.
"Got you." Mandi stuck out her tongue tauntingly.

She hadn't expected that to happen, and so was easily pushed into her own attack. She hissed in pain, quickly turning around to throw another couple of fireballs at Mandi. This kid was gonna go down, that was for sure.

This lady just kept on coming with the fire attacks and Mandi realized she wasn't totally sure what she could do to effectively attack back. She did have one idea but that required a little more distance, so she dodged again with her cat like reflexes and tried to get further away.

She continued to throw balls of fire after Mandi, but made no effort to follow her.

Mandi got hit with the fireballs and tears came to her eyes at how much it hurt. In response ran closer using her rubber limbs ability to stretch her arms out and wrap them around her attacker leaving them imoblized for just a moment while she head butted her.

She was a bit in a panic at being able to move and even headbutt but when her head cleared she stopped struggling and even gave a chuckle. In an instant she turned herself on fire to burn the little girl with a direct hit.

Mandi phased again but since it was a direct hit she started phasing just a little too slow and still got hit a little.
