This thread is for the Metaplot round 1 battle for Nadia. Only a member of staff or Sunlit.Rains should post here.

Subtract -5 from attacks that use an element the target is resistant to. Add +5 to attacks the target is weak against.

Be sure to state what it is you are doing in each post, keep a tally of your current HP at the bottom of your post. If you gain HP be sure to note how much you had before the healing was done, followed by what it is AFTER the healing.

All of the Possessed humans have glowing eyes. It was speculated that the color hinted at which element the Malice controlling the human was most attuned to. Blue for water/ice, red for fire, purple for wind, green for earth/plant. Other colors were present for those with other elements. Avon had taken volunteers to go out and rescue these humans from the grasp of the Malices, together they went down to the town and spread out to fight off any possessed humans.
Your Meta has run into a possessed human. They both face each other, ready for a fight. The human makes the first move, sending out an elemental attack aimed to slow down your Meta.

Nadia had no interest at all in being some kind of hero. The only reason she was involved in this at all was because of her human mother, and because of a few other things that had been worrying her, mainly to do with Silas and his malice. Still though, she didn't really want to be involved. It seemed like the other students would have the fighting well in hand, there were so many of them by now.
Even as she was hit by an water element attack by they human she'd come across, all she could think about was what a chore the fight was going to be. She staggered a bit and then sighed and rolled her eyes.
'Let's just get this over with shall we?" With that she super heated her arms up to her elbows, not too much further as she was trying not to catch her shirt on fire thank you, and made a rush for her attacker. She did her best to punch him as well as she could or just generally get as much contact with her super heated skin to inflict as much pain as possible.

The heated attack was painful, but he could manage it. He surrounded himself in a shield of water and then swung a punch for her gut.

Nadia made a soft omphing noise as she was punched in the gut by the water encased man. As she straightened she glared at him before shooting her hand through his water shield just enough to shoot a large puff of smoke directly into his face hoping some of it would get in his eyes and nose.

He sputtered, immediately backing off to try and get some clean air into his lungs. He then put together a whip of water and began lashing it at her.

Since the smoke seemed to be working relatively effectively, Nadia decided to try it out as a defense as well. She put up a smoke screen and moved out of the way off all the attacks, hidden by all the smoke.

Left coughing and wheezing, he stopped his whip and covered his his mouth with one had. This smoke had to be dealt with. Using his free hand he gathered water from the area and tossed a wave that thrashed all around.

Nadia pouted a bit as her smoke was dissipated and then growled slightly in anger as she was hit with the wave too. Once the waves stopped she super heated her arm again and went in for another attack.

Barely opening his eyes the first thing he saw was Nadia coming towards him and no time to move out of the wave. He cried out in pain and in a quick reaction he shot water from his mouth.

More smoke... the human summoned up a raincloud, intending to dissipate the smoke with a heavy downpour.
