This thread is for the Metaplot round 1 battle for Tobias. Only a member of staff or Asu should post here.

Subtract -5 from attacks that use an element the target is resistant to. Add +5 to attacks the target is weak against.
To battle, first make a post rolling the die stating only the action that you are doing. Once the total has been calculated, go edit the post with an actual short paragraph of action.
Be sure to state what it is you are doing in each post, keep a tally of your current HP at the bottom of your post. If you gain HP be sure to note how much you had before the healing was done, followed by what it is AFTER the healing.

All of the Possessed humans have glowing eyes. It was speculated that the color hinted at which element the Malice controlling the human was most attuned to. Blue for water/ice, red for fire, purple for wind, green for earth/plant. Other colors were present for those with other elements. Avon had taken volunteers to go out and rescue these humans from the grasp of the Malices, together they went down to the town and spread out to fight off any possessed humans.
Your Meta has run into a possessed human. They both face each other, ready for a fight. The human makes the first move, sending out an elemental attack aimed to slow down your Meta.

Tobias braced himself as his attacker launched a boulder at him. Instinctively his wings and tail curled around him. He attempted to diffuse the boulder using his telekinesis ability, but a small fragment still managed to hit one of his wings. Mentally, he hissed in pain, then uncurled himself to get ready for what was coming next.

He stood and watched as the Meta backed off, calculating his next move. He then raised up another boulder and then launched it at Tobias's head.

He tensed up a little, the boulder flying at his head was a little terrifying. At the last moment he managed to pull himself together, and send out a psychic blast to repel it. This time he made sure to catch any debris before it hit him. He then moved back a little more, but kept the human within range.

Annoyed with his poorly this was going, he ditched the distance attacks and charged in, intending to punch this kid in the stomach.

Tobias caught on to the punch a little too late to deflect everything, but still managed to put up a telekinetic shield long enough to withstand most of the blow. He then backed up even further, distance was definitely going to be his friend in this fight.

Distance wouldn't help him much, this time he stomped and brought up a pillar of earth to hit Tobias with.

Once again he was a bit slow to bring up the telekinetic shield, but manage to negate most of the hit. He pushed the attacker away and then ran off again, starting to breathe heavily. He'd never been a very active kid, it was starting to bite him in the a**.

He cried out in pain as the kick connected with his back, then rolled to the side, facing the human. He then unleashed a psychic wave targeted at his mind, causing a severe migraine for a few moments.

Just before the rocks could hit he put up another telekinetic shield, but in an attempt to move further away he tripped and landed the wrong way on one of his hands.

The next blow came at full force, but with a cost to the human. With the physical contact he managed to establish full mental control, then shove the human down onto the ground.
