Ariane was, once again, going to invade Jude's privacy by strutting into his room. This time, she was armed with a small bag, filled with stuff. it seemed like even after she had done it a million times before, he still did not lock his door... She took it as an open invitation. Obviously, he must secretly enjoy every one of her visits.
"NUDE JUDE!" She exclaimed as she opened the door.

Jude let out a sound of surprise and fell off his bed with a thump after he flung a book out of his hands and across the room. It hit the wall next to the door Ariane had entered through.
...At least he was clothed this time.
"God damn it, Ariane," Jude groaned from his spot on the floor.

"Don't want me to do that again?" Ariane laughed, picking up the book from the floor; having it fly in her direction was pretty surprising, and her reaction would most likely be different if the book had hit her, "Learn to lock your door."
She pushed the door shut by bumping it with her hip, and made herself comfortable on the bed, sitting on the edge.

Jude started to pick himself up off of the floor and he sort of stared at Ariane with an eyebrow raised, "...And that would stop you how?"
He wasn't convinced that locking the door would stop her from coming in to pester him. Ariane did what Ariane wanted. Much like an overly bossy feline.

Mia is Ariane's spirit animal.
"Locking the door would make it more challenging for me to bother you," She replied, kicking off her shoes and using her toes to prod Jude on his calf, "But you're right. There's no stopping me. Blame it on yourself~ If I didn't like you enough, I wouldn't even bother walking all the way here. You don't exactly live right beside me, you know."

"..I'll be sure to give you more of a challenge next time," he said dryly as he flopped more onto his bed after he batted at her foot that prodded at his calf.
Jude wasn't sure if he should feel flattered by her words or not and thus just let it go with a grunt, "So what did you see fit to 'bother' me with today?"

"I look forward to seeing you play hard to get," Ariane grinned, wriggling her eyebrows, "Eh. You know how Eva's always messing around with your princess locks? She probably thinks that your hair has more to offer than your butt, and I want to see if that's true."
... Yeah, she had been pretty bored recently.
"I got a few things from her... How does she usually pamper your hair anyway?" She asked, looking through what she had borrowed from Eva.

"I bet you are," Jude said in reply to her.
Then there came a new shock for the young man. He stared at Ariane as if she'd suddenly grew an extra head, a couple of legs, and perhaps a batwing or two. Never had he considered that Ariane'd want to even fuss with anything that wasn't rear-related much less his hair.
"She just brushes it and does whatever with it, usually braiding." Jude said after the shock wore off.

"Huh, braiding," Ariane looked thoughtful as she pulled out a hair brush from the bag, "That doesn't sound too hard. Pretty sure I can do that... Right, turn around."
Really, it was more like let me see the back of your head.

Was he really going to trust Ariane with his hair? There was just a second or two where he paused to consider this before he eventually sat up and then exposed his back to her so she could access his hair.
"...You never braided hair before?" Jude asked.

"A ponytail's just much easier to deal with," Ariane retorted, flipping her own ponytail, "So I never bothered to learn... Why? You know how to do a braid?"
She shifted her position to sit behind Jude, and actually hesitated for a bit before brushing through his hair; she wasn't sure if she should make fun of him for having softer hair than her, or if she should be envious, "Just so you know, I feel like Kintama just dropped off me, and into oblivion."

"Well, yes. Ponytails are much easier to deal with. I think it's just an excuse to fuss at my hair for an extended period of time," Jude murmured quietly. "Just do whatever you want."
Jude let out a small 'humm' at her words, "I see...Like as in he's ... gone? Completely?"

"If your hair gets chopped off one day, let's bury it beside Bix's braid," Ariane mused, brushing his hair backwards, and gathering it all in her hand. She had fought monsters... How hard could a braid be?
"Nah. As in brushing your hair makes me feel like a girly girl. If I had balls, they would have dropped off and rolled away into oblivion," She muttered, pausing for a bit. She then reached under Jude's butt, and gave it a quick squeeze, "And I just fixed it. Balls are fully back."

"That's never happening," Jude said somewhat stubbornly. Other than a trim he had no intention of ever cutting his hair. Not even above the shoulder. Nope.
Jude was about to say something about balls and Ariane's currently feeling girly when she suddenly gave him a squeeze to the a**. He jolted a bit and blushed heavily, "Damn it." He muttered.
"What is your obsession with asses anyways?"

"If the universe is determined to chop your hair off, I doubt that you would be able to stop it," Ariane laughed, dropping the hairbrush on the bed. She divided Jude's hair into three parts, the way she had seen the girls at her old school do, when they braided each others' hair, "Don't worry though. If it ever happens, we'll just have to give it the funeral it deserves."
She was attempting to be gentle, but being gentle was... Not her forte. As she attempted to do a braid - one lock of hair over the other, and then this lock of hair is supposed to go here, and that one there - she might had tugged a little too hard. Currently, she was very casually sweeping the strands of hair that had fallen out due to the mishandling off the bed.
"I don't know," She shrugged, "Must there always be a reason for liking something? I mean, what's your reason for tolerating my presence?"
