Personality: Sun Flare is usually calm and serene and polite. She was taught to be a lady by her Mother, Ophelia, and since she's the only girl, she tries her hardest to live up to those teachings. She'll even slip into her mother's style of speech when she's angry, trying her hardest not to be rude makes her end up being even more formal. Once she hits the 'formal speech' stage, she's only moments away from releasing a stream of sharp words and terms she's learned from her other Mom, Serenade.
She also tries to keep her anger in check because when her temper flares, so does her magic. When she gets angry or upset, the plants around her leap to her defense. She can easily control them and pull them back before they hurt whoever she's mad at, but Sun Flare figures it's easier to just control her temper.
The main trigger for her temper is her family, they're all very dear to her. She can take a lot of badmouthing about herself, but eventually she will reach her limit...and then you should run for cover.
Did you inherit magic? Do you like gardening or theater, like your moms? Or are you going in a completely different direction?: Flare inherited plant magic, like Cadence, and uses it to grow plants everywhere. She can 'talk' to them and knows when they're thirsty, hungry, or suffering from bugs, disease, or too little/much sunlight. Under her care, flowers and plants always bloom larger and sweeter.
The plants also seem to understand her in some way as well. When she gets angry or upset, the plants around her can and will turn into vines that trap or restrain her antagonist. Thorny plants, like the rose she and her siblings were named after can be especially dangerous to be around when she's lost her temper.
She also loves to go to the theater, watching comedies and tragedies play out is her favorite past time outside of her plants. Flare can get so into the stories, that she'll laugh or cry for the characters; and she'll chatter non-stop about what she'd just seen for the rest of the night.
