Banking her flight towards the river Kioda trilled happily. It really wasn't as far from her new home as she had first expected it to be. Landing with more grace on the river's muddy shore, than she had as a Keindred. Her tail moving to keep her balanced as she skid forward in the mud. Her wings moving in as the Drakein moved towards the waters edge, dipping her muzzle happily into the water to drink. The sun was so bright in the way it shone today, so it didn't surprise her to find plenty of fauna in the world around her. She wasn't in the mood for a good slaughter today, she had feasted plenty on the larger creatures on Serenia. Her belly was full, even if her body craved water.

Satisfied she had completely replenished her body, Kioda was a bit embarrassed by how much she had gorged. Sleepily she slipped into the water, the sun shone strong against her hide. Eager to gather as much of the warmth against her body as she could Kioda spread her wings out. Drifting lazily into a partial sleep state. Basking in the sun had become Kioda's favorite past time.

Kioda was pleased to remain where she was until the sound of a dragon reached her. Snarling at the disturbance Kioda flicked her tail. Water sprawling to the side. A snort forced her attention to the side. The dragon was right there! Hissing her irritation as she searched the shore and found no creatures nearby. Cursing Kioda dipped under the water, the Ysali dragon hot on her tail. Cursing again as her body slowly began to wake up. Tendrils of plants sprung about Kioda, nearly escaping them in time to catch the dragon up in the net. Giggling, Kioda took the opportunity to make her escape.
