User ImageThe first knight had been a huge surprise. A small gift brought to her by her friend and once Crystal Academy roommate Pomona. Though Niflhel had once mused over the thought of her having a set of knights as a princess, Polaris had never really come to believe it possible. But Sutai was most definately real. Hyperactive, adorable, and real.

It did not however make her any less surprised when she learned that she had another one. Ironically enough.. again by a 'roommate'. The conversation with Niflhel had been a playfully frusterating one as he teased her about 'a secret he knew'. But after a night of banter the information that there was another one out there... Delphi... well once again Polaris found herself so surprised she could have been knocked over with a feather.

She was also chomping at the bit to IMMEDIATELY go out and find said knight. But it wasn't as simple as that. Destiny City was a large city, and it would be near impossible to guess where someone she'd never met or knew little of would patrol or when. And so she was left waiting impatiently until the day Niflhel mentioned a meeting.

Apparently he'd sent a letter to Delphi and all she had to do was go and wait at the meeting site.

She was only about half an hour early for said meeting, the eternal senshi playing nervously with her many bangles to pass the sign. Any small noise lifted her attention quickly upwards. Her thick boots made a soft crunch as she began to slowly pace back and forth. Poor Delphi, hopefully she was clued in to how.. enthusiastic the young woman she coming to meet could be.

Sutai.. Delphi. Two knights. Her knights.

User ImagePoor Delphi, or Winterlynn as she was also known by, she hadn't been clued in. But she also hadn't been expecting to be caught again by the blond haired General. She'd been out heading to the meeting, powered up, when she'd felt a power signature which left her sick to her stomach and had her running from it - rather than too it. She knew it was hopeless, considering the recent run in with Painite, but she had tried. Heels hit the ground hard as she dashed around a corner and out onto the sidewalk in the hopes that people would deter this one, unlike Painite who seemed unmoved by people being around or the possibility of people seeing.

It seemed luck wasn't on her side as the short, he really was quite short (as she stood in heels at over 5'9", without she was 5'7"), General had made his appearance out of thin air - just like Painite. This really wasn't going right for her, this whole knight thing and seeking answers bit.

She had been close to the meeting too, she just hoped this Polaris figure would wait and not run off if she didn't turn up on time (if she turned up at all). Taking a step back from the approaching General she felt her right hand tighten around the weapon she held, though really to call it a weapon she felt was a joke, and prepared for whatever incoming attack he had prepared for her. This didn't look, or feel, all that good to her.

And then it came, no warning, no words, just a large weapon summoned from the air itself and he was lunging at her with the spear like weapon aimed for her stomach. Dodging to the side with a yelp she turned toward him, unwilling to take her eyes off him for longer than possible.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.He hadn't gone out that night planning to find or attack anyone from the other side, he rarely went out with those intentions set in his mind. But he also wasn't the sort to turn away from attacking one on the other side, whether it be verbally (either attacking them or trying to turn them to his side) or physically. This time he had gone after the weak signature via teleporting, as they were a distance away and seemed to be putting more distance between them, it was when he'd seen the knight that he'd decided to attack.

After that first encounter, he still didn't know he was the cause of her awakening, he needed to get some revenge - on all three involved in that gang up. It was without word or much movement that he summoned his weapon and shifting his hold on it had lunged at her. Most of the weapon sticking out behind him as he used the shortened down weapon like a spear or sword as he sought to impale her. As she moved to the side and turned to him he turned to her as well. His footing found he stood there watching her. "Give up, you won't win." The words were calm, perhaps a bit smug, and confident as the General moved slowly to close the foot or two distance between them. His weapon in his hands and at the ready.

Throwing himself at her again his gloved hands slid down the shaft of the spear as he slashed at her with the sharp blade. He would leave his mark on her, if he decided to let her live, he would not permit her to escape unharmed.

(new hair style hasn't gone ic yet. So still long hair. Should be fun since it's been awhile since they've seen each other - Polaris and him.)

She was really TRYING to be patient. And it wasn't even that Delphi was late or anything, it was just.. well how could someone not be excited about something like this?

Amidst her pacing and waiting she'd felt the pulse of chaotic energy as it drew nearer. It was a pretty large aura.. a general if she had to guess. Was it coming to find her? Pausing she waited, as if trying to see if it was approaching, but that was no exact science. Straining for a sign of footsteps or anything else telling, she nearly jumped when she heard a yelp in the distance.

There was another aura out there! It was a small once, which was why she hadn't noticed it right off the bat. Almost swallowed between her own and the General's. Was the general going after the small aura instead of her!? Coward!

She was supposed to be waiting here... but.. she had a job to do right? Especially if her crazy speculating happened to be correct and an ally was in danger. For the briefest of moments she lingered, her jaw clenched at her predicament, but in the end she bolted off towards the power sources ahead.

Sorry Delphi... Please don't think I'm a total flake..."

With eternal senshi speed it didn't take long to brace the distance, and before long she could see sillouette's in distance.

Sensing another power signature approaching the blond haired General knew it was only a matter of moments before an Eternal senshi joined the fray, and while confident in his abilities he didn't want to deal with it. Benitoite also didn't want to rush things with this knight, at least not more than they already were, and simply kill her.

Watching with satisfaction as his spears blade sliced across her coat, ripping into the fabric, he wasn't all that surprised when she wasn't bleeding - the coat was fairly thick in nature. But the next slice...that would draw blood and he was intent upon that.

As she stepped back, shock written on her face, he stood there smirking. His weapon held firmly as he waited to attack her again. He was also perhaps waiting to see just who this incoming senshi was. He might know this senshi, might not, he almost hoped it was the senshi of tigers so he could finish her off - he owed her for what she'd done to Bazzite and for not dying the last time they'd run into each other. A glance toward where he sensed the senshi coming from and he turned then to the knight.

Launching himself again at her he swung at her with his spear, just as she threw herself to the ground to avoid the attack.

She only briefly realized, or thought, of how she was going to never make the meeting she was supposed to make. She was sure she wouldn't make it out of this encounter, at least not alive. She'd survived the first encounter with him and the encounter with Painite but this time - no. She was sure she wouldn't make it.

It as just as she felt a prickling in her eyes, she really didn't want to die, that she felt a warmth. It was strong, like the Generals darkness, and she felt hope for just a moment. Could someone be coming - have sensed them both? It was a hope she didn't want to believe in, didn't want to trust, but she still felt that hope fluttering within her.

The slice to her coat was ignored right now, even as she put distance between herself and the General, her hope taking hold of her. If this person was coming toward them - to help her - than all she needed to do was keep distance between herself and him, right? It couldn't be that hard to maintain distance for what? A few minutes?

It seemed though that as hard as she didn't think it was it was going to prove that hard. As he lunged at her she was snapped away from her thoughts. Throwing herself to the ground as fast as she could, she didn't have the time to think of anything else to do, the weapon/toy she'd been holding went skittering across the pavement only to stop several feet away from her.

Aura's were funny things. They were helpful, but nowhere near an exact science, especially in close range. So with the distance and the dark she couldn't tell right away which silloutte belonged to the ally and which to the enemy. Which was why she avoided simply lobbing some sharp piece of metal like a javelin in a surprise attack. But given the power level differences.. it was safe to say she was worried at the dangers of her inaction.

So instead she yelled, hoping to pause the fight long enough for her to draw near enough. "What kind of jerk picks on someone who is that much weaker then they are?" Especially given the fact that she'd deciphered that the Order member was a knight. It didn't take even rookie senshi that long to figure out that Lts and pages often had weapons that bordered on useless. Ironically, Polaris was still oblivious to the fact that the knight whose weapon she was potentially belittling was the one she had come out looking for on this evening.

"Maybe I'll drop a car on you to teach you a lesson." She threatened when she was almost near enough for a real attack, knowing full well that she'd need to be in Princess form for that, and even then that was probably a stretch on her abilities.

((Sorry for the ridiculous delay! If for some reason you don't want to continue this rp that's totally fine, I'm just going through and trying to hit everything I owe.

If you'd rather start something new/more recent instead that's fine too, just let me know.))

He'd have finished this, stabbed the knight through, and turned his attention on the incoming senshi but he didn't get the time. The senshi was here and making some lovely threat of a car dropping him - how amusing that would be. He doubted she could manage such a feat, eternal or not, and thus he turned toward the senshi slowly. Blond hair, long as ever, fluttered about his face as narrowed eyes landed on the long white haired senshi. He remembered her...how interesting a princess. "A car? Really...a trick I'd like to see you attempt." He stated with his brow raised and voice dripping with a tone that screamed 'Oh really...I doubt it'.

Oh, he hoped she couldn't drop a car on him. While the idea of a car dropping on someone was entertaining it wasn't when it could be him - he'd rather a car be dropped on some senshi or knight - like the one he'd just been attempting to kill. "Tell me...what are you doing out all alone tonight senshi?"

With the Generals attention off of her Delphi scrambled to her feet. Once on her heel covered feet she took off toward the eternal senshi, rather than just run off, since she needed to stick around as she was due to meet someone here. This senshi might even be who she was supposed to be meeting - she hoped they were actually. She didn't like the idea of wrecking someones car, or a fight, but dropping a car on this General was at the same time an appealing idea.

The 'weapon' she had was left on the ground where it had put itself, she wasn't about to think on that when she had other more important things to worry and fret over. "You can handle him...the last time he tried to kill me two people had to put a stop to him." She filled in quickly.

The sound of Benitoite's voice actually rang familiar to Polaris, and as she strained across the distance she confirmed his identity. He was a strange General.. one Polaris had never really been able to get her mind wrapped around. She'd seen him be passive at times and seemingly reasonable. Far more polished and eloquent then the average blood thirsty Negaverse agent. At some point she may even have felt like the two might have been able to.. talk.. compromise.. something?

But apparently he also tried to murder those who couldn't defend themselves?

That was it there, wasn't it? The answer to her question. He was smart and strategical. He knew better then to pick fights he couldn't win and weaseled his way out of those. But he would take every opportunity that he knew favored him and run with them. Exstinguish the life of a young page. What about a child, would he go after them too?

Coward had been the right word.

She bristled as he taunted her back, obviously annoyed that he was calling her on a threat she wasn't sure she could deliver on. And then as the page made her way towards Polaris the eternal realized what the page had not yet noticed.

Those colors... that intricate compass rose clasp. They even had the same crystals dangling from their hair. Whether it was the one she had come out to meet this evening or not there was no denying that the page that stood before her was one of her own. '..the last time he tried to kill me.. And while the page made her way behind Polaris for safety, Polaris continued on forward wings sprouting as her aura suddenly spiked.

It was strange really. The regal and elegant dress, the angelic wings, the tiny heels. They harshly contrasted the look on her face, teeth gritted in anger eyes throwing daggers.

"I'm looking for one of my knights." She answered his question, almost spitting it as she continued to step forward, each step an angry stomp.

The 'noise' in her head was loud with the soft pings and feelings of detected metal all around her. But she sifted through it all and found what she was looking for. And was too angry to think about the consequences.

"And dropping cars on the assholes who try to hurt them." There was a loud metallic groan nearby as the Princess lifted her hand upwards, coming from a small smart car parked across the street. It began to shiver and shudder as it very slowly lifted itself from the ground. Her fist clenched as she called out the name of her attack and the car shot itself in Benitoite's direction. "Super magnetic field"

Thanks for the link heart

Okay, not dropped on, but thrown at works. XD It's big enough that it should be slow enough for him to dodge in time!

"A knight of yours...well I wish you luck in that endeavor." He stated with a slight bowing of his head. "Though judging by your uniform and this knights." Motioning to the one he'd been planning on taking out, the knight now poised behind the princess. "I'd say you found your knight." And so had he, obviously, and he'd found them first.

He wasn't stupid, far from it, he could read the anger in her eyes and each move she made. This wasn't good for him, he knew it, and yet he held his ground. He knew a royal outclassed him, without even needing to feel her aura he knew it, but he held his ground as he stood there with his weapon in hand and ready for whatever came.

His attention had been on the princess, unwavering, until he heard that groaning sound and he turned his eyes away from her to find the source of it and was surprised, and horrified in some way, to see it was a car lifting off the ground. he might have, under other circumstances, made a comment about ruining someones car and the cost of it but now wasn't the time and he knew that. Cursing under his breath as the car came hurtling at him he didn't have much time and without thinking, since he could have teleported, he threw himself to the ground in order to try and avoid the attack or perhaps lessen the damage as he wouldn't be thrown off his feet and into god knows what.

Oh, he really hoped it didn't hit...so much pain and he didn't need that. But when it did hit it was more pain than he'd expected. it hadn't like landed on him on it's tires, so he would be under the car and mostly safe. Nope, he had the passenger side of the car land on him. A gasp of pain escaped him as did the air in his lungs as it left in a whoosh and left him fighting to regain his breath while focusing himself away from his own pain and on getting out of this predicament, out from under the car.

It seemed the senshi had become angry, very angry, at hearing her words. Watching the Eternal make her way toward the General she was like the General - didn't believe she could literally drop a car on him but it was a nice idea, it really was. But hearing the Eternal's words about meeting a knight here she knew who this was then and was glad for her arrival, glad to see her. What surprised her, and floored her, was seeing her change attire. There was a stage beyond Eternal and it was lovely and the power...it was calming and massive at the same time, though she imagined for the General it was far from calming - more like frightening she hoped.

As the groaning sound filled the air the pale purple eyes turned onto the shuddering car and watched it lift itself from the ground. "Oh my..." A car was lifted off the ground, this princess could lift a car! Not only that but it flung itself at the General with only a few spoken words from the Princess. It looked like her warning for the other to be careful was pointless.

"A car..." She whispered staring at the car, she felt for it's owner - she really did. This was why she didn't like this fighting, innocent people suffered how much in the way of losses. But...this did help but the poor civilian now without a car. She hoped insurance would help, in this city it should.

She had genuinely expected him to teleport away. Or at the very least jump out of the way, maybe just get clipped. But as the car crashed against the ground she could hear that it had hit something other than asphalt and her heart skipped a beat. How well had she hit him? Had she actually killed him? Though it wouldn't have been the first time, it wasn't a thing she reveled in. Nor was it particularly the first impression she wanted to give when meeting an ally.

She could feel the page still behind her, seemingly safe, so slowly Polaris began to moving towards the car, looking for signs of life. "Not as fun when you're the one getting thrashed by someone stronger than you."

Sleet Tempest Snape
When Polaris is less angry she will also be very sorry about said person's car. XD
PostPosted: Sun Jul 05, 2015 10:48 pm

Thankfully he was still alive, sore and hurt but alive. Teleporting he knew would not be so easy but as he shifted under the car, as much as he could, he managed to focus just enough on teleporting. It really was like being a Captain again and learning how to teleport for the first time. It had taken alot of focus then and it should have taken a lot now but he hadn't been able to focus properly. It was why he wound up on the ground in front of the fallen vehicle rather than away from the scene, he couldn't manage to focus on a location aside from right here - right in front of the car.

Staring up at the princess his slate eyes narrowed and his hands gripped at the weapon he hadn't let go of even when he'd been hit. He was sore, he should pay a visit to one of the hospitals in the city. Right now though he had some parting words for the princess. "No...but one day I'll be as strong as you - remember that." He would, he would gain in power and he would have no enemy that was higher in rank than himself.

Shuddering, and stopping for a breath mid sentence, a breath which was deep as he tried to bring in as much air as possible, he looked past her to the page. "One night I'll get her..." He whispered, unable to bring his voice up in volume. He couldn't remain here - it wasn't safe and he wasn't stupid. Mustering enough focus, as much as he could right now as his body screamed in pain, he managed to teleport out.

Feeling more confident, or perhaps just safer, the page followed behind the princess. Trailing behind her Delphi had her eyes focused on the car and the figure which appeared in front of it, but still on the ground. He was strong, tough, she would give him that but that didn't mean she liked him. There was something to him that couldn't be denied, thus she wouldn't deny it.

Whatever he said she didn't catch but she had seen his lips moving before he vanished and she was left there standing behind the princess and now wondering just what she was to do. This was not a position she was good with - being social. She was not the sort who was social unless it was for work and even then it wasn't as genuine as people would think, or hope. She could be honest and such but she never trusted people and yet this was her Princess and she should be able to trust her, right? Above others involved in this war..at least she felt like she should but could she? That she would find out.
