Jericho was a dragon. He got this much now. What sorts of things did dragons do exactly? Weren't they supposed to be able to breathe fire and stuff like that? It was worth a shot. Making his way outside, he tried to think about how he was supposed to go about this exactly.
He was pretty certain he should be able to breathe fire.
It was just a matter of... how?
The instinct was lost with him. Just as with... many other things.
Once he was in a clearing, he concentrated. Then, taking a deep breath, he exhaled sharply.
Nothing came out.
Hm. That was not how to breathe fire.

Lizzy was hiding in a bush staring at the person who looked like Jericho, but can't be Jericho because... Well, the last time she saw him, he was in the body of a tiny, adorable elf. Besides, he was supposed to be in the care of Riley and Malodore, and she did not see them around... Which made her wonder if this could be Jericho's long lost twin brother. Maybe red dragons can't afford to have two kids at once. Or maybe they didn't want twins to fight over treasure.
For now, she continued to stare at the Jericho look-alike as he... Did whatever he was doing.

"That didn't work.." Jericho muttered to himself before looking himself over. Maybe it was less about breathing? He rubbed the back of his neck, trying to think about how he was supposed to go about this. After some time, he shrugged and took in a deep breath.
Closing his eyes, he tried to focus again.
And once more, he attempted to breathe fire.
No flame. But there was a bit of smoke. It was pretty pitiful though.

... Maybe he's just the brother Jericho never wanted to talk about. Then again, she shouldn't assume that he was trying to breathe fire.
Lizzy wiggled out of the bush, brushing leaves and twigs out of her hair as she stood up. She seemed a little embarrassed to reveal that she was spying observing him, but she figured that she could always make up some story about how she was sleeping... In a... Bush... Yeah.
"Hi," She greeted, offering him a sheepish smile, "What're you doing?"

Hearing someone addressing him, Jericho turned around quickly to see a pink haired student standing there. "AH! Er.. Hi. I'm just... practicing my natural ability... Or trying to," he replied while rubbing the back of his neck. Furrowing his brow, he looked over the girl. "Do... I know you?"

"I'm not sure," Lizzy replied, the question throwing her off, "Do you?" She eyed the boil; the way he was acting does remind her of a certain someone, but...

Jericho furrowed his brow again. "I... Might? Or might have at some point. I don't know who knew me before... well. Before I showed up as an elf around here."

"An e-elf?" Lizzy choked up as her eyes glazed over; she looked him up and down, and then walked one round around him before coming to stand in front of him again. She saw no lingering signs of insanity. He was cured. Clean. Well again and alive.
"Jericho!" She sobbed, throwing her arms around him, giving him a tight squeeze, "You're okay! You're okay! Professor Red's plan worked! This made telling her so worth it..."
Ah wait. His question... That's right.
"You don't remember me," Saying it out loud was like admitting it, and admitting it was tougher than she expected it to be; she had hoped that his memory loss was only temporary, but unfortunately, that did not seem like the case. Slowly, she unwrapped her arms from around him, wiped the tears from her eyes using the back of her hand, and forced a smile; he was Jericho, but it was also not Jericho... It would be unfair to expect him to be who he was before.
"I'm Lizzy. It's nice to meet you.... Again," She tried not to let it show, but it was difficult to pretend that a good friend of hers could not remember her, "I hope we can be good friends. Uh, again."

Jericho was soon thrown into a state of confusion as the girl threw her arms around him. So he did know her. Without... actually knowing her. Furrowing his brow some, he soon smiled and patted her on the back. She certainly seemed happy to see him. They must have been friends.
"Nice to meet you too Lizzy... I'm.. sorry I don't remember much. I can't imagine this being all too easy.." he said.
"But.. I'm more than willing to make new memories with everyone. I don't have a whole lot to go off of right now and all."

"Well, it's not exactly easy for you either," She pointed out, shaking her head, "But you can't remember... How to be a dragon?"

Jericho shifted a little uncomfortably at that.
"I... can't. I came back as an elf, and I seriously believed that was what I was supposed to be. Then... I got this body and.. well."
The dragon heaved a sigh.
"Everything just kinda turned upside down. I can't fly. I can't breathe fire.."
The only things he really noticed that was working for him was that he enjoyed higher temperatures and he did have a sort of affiliation towards treasure.

"At least you're bigger now!" Lizzy answered, standing on tiptoes to pat the boil on his forehead, "I think some of these things will come back naturally, after a while. Other things you might have to learn... But you'll be able to do it. I'm pretty confident bout that!"
She paused, looking thoughtful, "Have you tried eating fire? I mean... Like things that are on fire."

"Hopefully.." Jericho said quietly while shifting his wings a bit awkwardly. Would these things come back to him in time? It was hard to say. Flight, he was certain he would have to re-learn. As for the rest, he wasn't sure right now.
"..Eating fire? No... I have not. The.. thought didn't even come to mind," he admitted.
Eating something that was on fire sounded...
Painful.

"No?" Lizzy asked, one eyebrow raised, "But you used to enjoy these things called flaming batwings. They're... Well, flaming batwings. Batwings on fire."

Jericho stared at Lizzy for a moment there. It didn't seem like she was lying. The concept of what she just described though sounded really weird.
"..Really?"
He paused and thought about that. He didn't remember anything of the like, but... maybe eating flaming things would help with the whole fire breathing thing. However, he was still wary. The dragon didn't want to burn his tongue.
