Victoria hadn't been out much these past few weeks, he'd been busy. His sisters class had some sort of field trip, not to mention the previous week was valentines and his youngest sister's class was having a party and well someone had to be there. Since his parents were the main source of income he'd gotten stuck yet again going in their place.
So tonight he had taken off just to relax. Sitting on a park bench powered up with a sigh. He'd have to apologize to ********* later, since he was blatantly ignoring the asteroid's rule. However, he just needed some time to himself and most of the asteroid memebers were girls and two were children. It was hard to always keep up with them or understand him.
He sighed as sat there. "What a week!"

In the same park that Victoria sat also sat a certain Chronos Squire, perched up in a tree like a bird, one leg stretched across the length of the tree branch, the other drawn up to his chest, his fingers laced together around his knee.
He'd been on patrol for several hours now, quietly and unobtrusively keeping an eye on the park, but so far there had been no mishaps, no odd power surges, no Negaverse or Dark Mirrors present. It was a quiet night, strangely calm, but it was somehow still pleasant - a welcome relief from the hazards of fighting.
A whisper of a power signature wafted over him, Celsus immediately on guard - but it was not a negative one. In fact, it seemed pleasant enough, his eyes scanning over the deserted park until -
Aha.
Silently Celsus dropped from the tree, landing with a quiet thump on the ground. He slipped his hands into the pockets of his trousers and made his way over towards the park bench, whistling casually.
"Gooood evening."

Startled the red-head almost jumped, he hadn't paid attention to energy signatures until he'd actually heard the person speak. "Oh, haha hello." He was rubbing the back of his neck a bit nervously.
"I uh.... is this your spot?" He asked after a few moments of trying to figure out what to say, he wasn't use to just kind of trying to find a place to chill out that was safe enough, at least the energy signature wasn't a dark one.
Granted he still kind of wished that he'd paid more attention.

The boy in front of him had vibrantly bright hair with skin just a shade lighter than Celsus' own. He gave him a friendly smile and moved to stand in front of him, rocking back on his heels.
"Nope," he replied, tilting his head a little. "I was patrolling in the area and thought I would say hello."
Celsus stuck out his hand.
"My name is Celsus. I'm a Squire of Chronos. And you are?"

Victoria nodded when Celsus said this wasn't his spot, "Oh, awesome," He breathed a small sigh of relief that he wasn't just taking over someone's spot.
Victoria shook Celsus's hand, "Oh Nice to meet you, I'm Victoria, senshi of Glory; and one of ********* 'girls'." He said, "Soo where's your weapon?" He looked curiously, he knew they had them. Niflhel had a chain so he half expected Celsus' to be something similarly obvious.

"Senshi of Glory, eh?" said Celsus, giving Victoria's hand a firm shake and the boy a wide smile. "Sounds impressive! I rather like your name, I think - Victoria, Senshi of Glory."
His smile flickered, just slightly, at the mention of his "weapon," and Celsus gave a rueful laugh.
"Well, I'm afraid it's not really a weapon, as you have it," he said, and lifted the chain around his neck, dangling the golden coin in front of Victoria. "But this is basically it right here. Kind of anticlimactic, I know."

Victoria tilted his head a bit as Celsus laughed, "Well surely it's more impressive as you power up." He said watching the gold coin dangle.
"I mean it's got to be better than what I can do." He was scratching the back of his head, okay so his attack wasn't useful if there wasn't another around to use it. Which was sometimes a little unfortunate, he shifted, "So do you have a team or just kind of hoofing it alone so to speak?"
He was curious about knights, if they had teams like senshi did or something.

Celsus smiled. "Er, hopefully, yes," he said, and cleared his throat, happy for the subject change. Linking his fingers together behind his back and rocking on his heels, he said brightly, "Ah, I technically have a team I suppose! We're the guard of her highness, Princess Chronos, of the Zodiac."
A pause.
"I think that counts like a team, right? Or did you mean something else?"

"Ahh..." Victoria tilted his head a little, he thought he knew a little about the princess of the Zodiacs but it was very little - like her name? He shrugged, "That works for me, a team's got people that you trust on it. As long as you trust them, then that's a team!"
He said, giving a nod. "My team's got my back when I need it!"
There was a small shift, "So you don't have any place you hang around to patrol?" He asked curiously. "I've been trying to figure out if there's actual beats."

Celsus tilted his head curiously. "What sort of team do you have, then?" he asked keenly, a smile on his lips. "Just a group of people with similar interests?"
He shook his head a little, red hair falling into his face. "Sort of..?" said Celsus, and grinned. "I mean, the Zodiacs used to have a specific rotation for us, but no longer. We just sort of...go where protection is needed, I s'pose."

"Well... no. I'm part of the asteroid's. ********* girls...." He paused, "I don't know why she calls us all girls when two of us are guys." He said as he shrugged a little bit, "Iris is our captain. I don't know if you know her, then there's two chibi's."
He paused, "We're all pretty diverse. Iris is pretty rough and tumble, and then there's ********* grinned, "I like to plan things though. I uh... try to figure out plans of attack but that's pretty hard to do in this setting. It's easier in mmo's." There was a small frown, "I also think I'm the only member of our team that skateboards on patrol."
The senshi shrugged, "Granted I'm normally coming from work so I do normally have my board."

"Aha!" said Celsus with delight, clapping his hands together. "I know exactly the creature of whom you speak, and she is a delightful sort of cat that I really quite adore. I'm afraid I am unfamiliar with this 'Iris' but if she works with the lovely H ebe as well as yourself, I'm sure she is quite lovely."
Rocking back on his heels, he added cheerfully, "I haven't met everyone in the Zodiacs yet, but the Princess is lovely, of course, and the knights I have gotten to know are wonderfully interesting. I do hope to get to know everyone eventually."
"Also skateboading, yes, this seems a very nice way to go. Better than walking, I suppose!"

Victoria smiled, "Aha, delightful; sometimes I think she'd eat you out of house and home, which is not as delightful but she's much more pleasant than Iris."
He paused, "Though I suppose I shouldn't speak bad of the captain. She is who she is and we can't really stop that."
he nodded, "The asteroid's are a small group." He said with a nod, "I think theres.... eight of us including *********." Victoria shrugged, "Though it sounds as if you're group is much more extensive."
He paused, "So you're a knight of the princess and she has other knights?" He couldn't help but wonder why Iris didn't have knights, though he said nothing on the topic.
"Yes, for the most part it's better than walking. It's when you run into youma that you gain a small problem." He frowned and mourned the death of a few of his skateboards. "I tend to break my boards on their heads." He said pointing towards his own head. "My parents think I'm trying some death defying stunts because of that." Which in some aspects he was, he just couldn't tell them what kind of death defying stunts. There was a sheepish smile. "Hard to explain that, sometimes."

"Oh believe me," said Celsus. "I quite know about her eating habits, and yes, well, let's just say I know how to handle them."
A pause.
"For the most part."
An eight person team. Celsus felt a tad jealous of such an arrangement, seeing as how he couldn't quite remember the last time he had been able to meet with all of the Zodiacs, but he cleared his throat and smiled. "That's right," he said agreeably, slipping his hands into his pockets. "We are the Zodiac guard, I suppose you could call us. Or at least, a part of it. There are senshi as well that protect her, and we protect and support them."
His shoulders relaxed a little. "Yes," said Celsus, with a small, slightly sheepish laugh. "I've been trying to learn how to explain away injuries to my brother whom I live with, but it's proving to be, er...somewhat difficult."

Victoria nodded, "I suppose everyone knows *********." He started laughing, "Almost everyone seems to know who I'm talking about when I speak of her. It's amazing really, how such a small cat can be so many places."
He nodded, "Ah it sounds like you have a very important job then." He sounded amazed at the thought. "I uh.... don't really know what all the Zodiac's do but if you have so many of you on a team then it must be really important."
There was a nod, "Hm perhaps you should try skateboarding. Trust me the injuries you get from that will most of the time equal what you can gather from a fight." He paused, "Well unless you're some how bitten, stabbed or otherwise thrown off a skyscraper...." There was a small pause as he thought about the first time he'd met the captain... "Well, then you might have some issues explaining that, but other injuries it's pretty close." There was another more firm nod.
"Especially while learning the ropes!" He was tapping his chin, "Maybe I could show you some basics? Give you enough juice to have something to feed your brother when the more simpler injuries occur?"
