It was a rare sunny day in Destiny City, and the weak sun had managed to push back the cold enough to warrant going outside without a jacket. Amarilla saw the sun as more of an opportunity to get in some long needed exercise. With her bookbag, she also brought her jogging things to class, and changed in the DCU locker rooms after her classes were done for the day.
She was now jogging around the track, Ipod set to a playlist of deep bass music. The throbbing of the bass gave her something to focus on instead of the burning in her lungs and legs. Her expansive pink hair was drawn up into a high ponytail, the end of it bouncing against her back just below her shoulder blades. She chose purple shorts and a pale blue shirt to jog in today, and her tennis shoes were a welcome relief from the wedges she had worn to class.
She jogged for about fifteen minutes before taking a pause to stretch and breathe, lifting her hands high over her head while taking a deep breath. Her cheeks were flushed from the running and a thin beading of sweat covered her brow.

Trevor stood on the sideline of the track and field area at DCU campus, he figured he needed another practice round, since it had been awhile since he had hit the track and field arena. He bent down and grabbed his water bottle from the bottom and tossed it upwards and caught it so it was upright. He glanced up at the sky, the good news is it was nice and sunny and those type of days in Destiny City seemed rarer and rarer in Destiny City and he wasn't sure why.
He had decided to throw on a pair of blue shorts and a white shirt, his hair was soaked in sweat and the sunlight reflected off of it. He took his towel from his bag and wiped himself off before throwing the towel around his neck and took a drink from his water bottle. Before heading back onto the track. He blew out a light breath and began to stretch.
For someone who was so keen on making his coach, parents and friends happy he only had time to study, do homework and keep up with his rigourous schedule of practicing for soccer and track and field. Anyone who met me wondered how he would have time to do them all. Event that to him was a mysterious. On top of practicing in school he also ran out of school and off campus, to him it was seen as a way to keep him active when he wasn't on the DCU campus.

Amarilla was switching songs when she noticed that she was not the only one on the track anymore. There was a dark haired boy nearby who was also stretching nearby. He seemed to be in considerably good shape and she paused for a moment in her conversation to admire the boy before bringing her eyes back to the ground before her as she reached for her toes.
Her ears were too warm, and the earbuds along with the Ipod were left in her bag near the track when she started again. It was a slow start, since she had just run quite a bit beforehand. Almost more of a trot if she thought about it. Every so often as she passed the other person on the track, she glanced at him, more out of curiosity than anything.

Trevor ran a hand through his semi-damp hair since most of it was wiped off by his towel. He took one last drink of his water bottle and tossed it and his towel into his bag. He started jogging in place for a few minutes, before shifting his gaze forward. He readied himself to run off, he blew a light breath out and then took off.
As he was running he noticed a young girl and took a moment or two to look her over discretely, she was beautiful and lovely and he nodded politely to her as he ran past her. He then shifted his gaze forward again and continued down the track. He wasn't one to show off, and he wasn't going to start now so he kept a steady pace.

StarshineAngel01 I'm sorry this took so long ! orz It was quite silly, staring at person without saying anything. Amarilla was sure that he had noticed, and the thought made her a little uncomfortable and pleased at the same time. Now that they had seen each other, they could actually talk! Amarilla was all for meeting new people, and it didn't hurt that he was handsome.
So she braced herself, and when they came close to one another on the track, she ventured a smile and a small "Hello." without breaking stride. She hoped that she wasn't interrupting an important run or breaking his concentration. But she couldn't possibly keep casting glances all day long right? Where was the fun in that!

Trevor kept up with his stride and smiled as they came close together on the track. "Hello, my name is Trevor or Trev for short" he told her and tilted his head to the side "what's your name?" He asked her politely while managing to keep his pace and stride.

"Hi Trev. I'm Amarilla." she responded, choosing the shorter version of his name. It seemed like by offering a shortened name, he was a kind person, or at least a friendly one.
"Do you run here often?" she smirked at how awfully cliche her question was, and added "I just started running on a track here. Normally I run around town."

Trevor grinned lightly "Pleasure to meet you Miss Amarilla" he responded with a smile. At least he had wonderful company for this run which was good.
"why, yes i do. I don't think i've seen a lady such as yourself actually on the track" he told her playing along. "Normally i run at the park or around the city" he explainedBlue eyed Melloon i'm i very patient person

She felt her smile grow. Miss Amarilla? Someone who has manners? How wonderful! Most of the people that Amarilla met in her classes, and especially as her alter ego lacked all etiquette. She figured it was because she was raised by her grandparents who grew up in a different era focused on being a polite person. But Trevor seemed much better than that, at least for now.
"You mean not many ladies come here to run? How silly! It seems a perfectly good place to do so." Especially if more people like you are running here as well.
"I like the park for running, but really only in the morning. It gets too crowded to run in the afternoon."

Trevor shook his head "no, not really usually they just come to watch but that was about it" he put in thoughtfully. He kept his pace before glancing over at her " finding ladies who are into running let alone who are sports enthusiast is very rare" he told her.
"I don't mind the crowds all that much, since there are always crowds of people watching games or track and field meets" he stated " but once in awhile i do prefer peace and quiet but not today, the company i currently have is good enough" he said.

It was her turn to shake her head. "I have never really played any sports. Just running. I din't think I would be very good at them." It wasn't as if she hadn't tried. She signed up for soccer, volleyball, baseball and even gymnastics when she was younger, and she had found that her coordination was way too low to be of any use on a sports team.
"I will watch sports for sure. I prefer going to games where I know someone. It's more personal." She realized that she was rambling just a bit, and let her voice die down.
When she figured enough time had passed between thoughts, she said "You do track and field? That sounds really great. I can see why you are in good running shape." She slipped the compliment in hopefully without blushing.

" not many do" he told her carefully not trying to sound rude. "Well, at least you tried and learned something new about yourself" he told her.
He nodded his head "yup, i play soccer and i do track and field" he told her, which would explain why he was in good shape. "On top of that i run off campus as well" he said "i have a very active lifestyle, and thank you" he told her with a smile.

Amarilla felt herself starting to tire, and mentally cursed herself for pushing her body so much on her earlier run. She didn't want to stop her conversation, but her legs were beginning to feel like jelly.
"I like being around active people." she said "Many of the students here that I talk to are all about being lazy." she stumbled a bit, and laughed. "Unfortunately I am getting a little tired. If you want to continue your run without me, I won't be offended." she smiled sweetly, allowing him a moment to respond before slowing down from her trot to a walk.

Trevor slowed his pace and glanced over at Amarilla before thinking about it, and then replying "nah, i'll keep you company finding good company is hard especially around the track" he told her as he slowed to a walk.

Amarilla smiled, pleased that he chose to keep her company instead of running off without another word. A gentleman indeed!
"So when you aren't being incredibly active, what do you do? I prefer to cook in my spare time, though I rarely get to use exotic ingredients because my grandparents are far too bland in their tastes." Amarilla giggled lightly, covering her mouth to stifle the sound.
