After checking the orbs location, Kioda had been pleased to discover it hadn't been moved. Nothing had entered the area so the den was completely safe from outside influence and discovery. The location was near perfect, water may not be flowing close by. Though she could still find the streams and lakes easy enough from the sun and stars positions. Eventually she hoped it would become habitual to find the sources location.

Flapping her wings as she soared over the tree line Kioda listened intently to the world below her. Searching out the Ysali dragon from before, she was certain this time, this time! She would attack the dragon and kill it. Her shadow dipped and rose with the height of the tree's. Flapping her wings once again, searching the ground carefully. A small break in the tree's and a glimpse of the dragons tail. Focusing on the dragons body Kioda's tail flicked in the air, changing her course she dove down towards the ground. If she was luck she could easily aim and tear through the dragon.

All she had to do was be silent, attacking from the air seemed to be her best line of attack so far. Landing on a branch above the Dragon as silently as she could, Kioda was betrayed by the rustling leaves. The Ysali roared up at her accusingly.

Tucking her wings in close Kioda snarled back, lunging forward towards the Ysali. This was a fight she wasn't going to loose, no matter what. This would ensure she could claim the area as her home, and home for any other Drakeins she could deem her family. Tearing into the dragons throat with vicious abandon Kioda killed the Ysali dragon. Another Ysali orb pulled from the crumbling remains of the dragons body.

Whistling cheerfully Kioda pranced away with a slight limp. She had procured another precious orb.
