Kioda had spent the past week resting after her first hunting ordeal and her first orb had been discovered. Though she and Grrel hadn't been able to drive the haunting Ysali from Kioda's nesting area it hadn't been much of a bother for the week. Perhaps it too was resting up on energy, nursing it's wounds? Kioda curled up tighter in the ball she currently slept in. Since her discovery of the first Ysali orb, Kioda had been given permission to leave the family unit. She was no longer a child and with the bond released from her mother, Kioda didn't want to stick around to see the new set of eggs hatching.
It had also been a relief to Kioda, she now had a place to call her own after searching. Which granted her an easy way to hide her Orbs. Kioda's head snapped upward in attention as a roar in the distance caught her ears. Shifting her head from right to left as she listened it was the same Ysali roar as the one she had faced off against Grrel with. Her wings, once laying sprawled open, were being pulled tightly against her body. Her muscled tensed ready to spring into action if she needed to fend off the offending Dragon.
Locating the sound Kioda stared in the dragons direction. Watching with a shiver as the creature stepped into Kioda's new nesting grounds. Kioda her lips back in a hissing growl of warning, both Ysali's locked eye's staring defensively at the other. "Leave my home." The dragon had shouted at Kioda.
Taken back by the strange outburst Kioda blinked, turning her head to get a better look at the Ysali. She wasn't about to push herself into a bigger fight that could end in her death. Swallowing her pride, it was moments like this, Kioda had been grateful her orbs were not stored within her sleeping area. There were only two options before her. Relocate her home nest again, or, defeat the Ysali dragon who's home she had encroached upon. She wasn't ready to give up her home. The only option remaining, to fight. She would give the dragon time to relax and think it had won. Then like a coward she would defeat it and claim her home.
