 Oh how exciting life could be! Especially when you took joy in the smallest of things, like... sleeping. Missy did a lot of that but now the sun had set she was up and alert. It was the usual scenario for the cat like mare, wander here and there, rub up against a tree, climb a tree, get stuck in said tree and indignant at having to look incredibly ungraceful when she landed.
That was her life, and thus far it had been rather entertaining her stomach was growling tonight however... perhaps she'd find a mouse?

 Anariya took in a deep breath, she was alone yet again. It wasn't that she couldn't find someone to talk to with the vast number of family she had, but even then she couldn't quite shake the lonely feeling she had, especially on clear starry nights such as this one. So many members of her family were moving on and finding families of her own, but she was still on her own. Most days she didn't mind it, but she was constantly reminded that there was no one there for her when she came home. It was growing on her, and anymore she couldn't shake how it made her feel. She wanted someone to care for her, someone to call her own. Yes, she supposed, she even wanted children, to Ama's dismay.
Moving forward, Anariya made it toward the outer line of trees and stopped. Looking on, did she dare leave Herd Lands? She couldn't say that she ever had before, it was something that had never really been brought to her attention that maybe that was why she hadn't found anyone. Hesitating, she took in a deep breath and slowly moved forward. Well, it was better late than never.

There was a wiggle of a bush and Missy her head front half down quick as a hare with her rear raised, tail swaying jaggedly from here to there. With a grin she shook her rear and started the pounce, dashing out and looking back at her confused was a small mouse. Silly little things hadn't all cottoned onto the more unique tastes of this worlds inhabitance, oh she could eat fruit and berries but a good mouse rarely left her hacking up pips and the sort. No bother to her and as she approached it something must of clocked on as it ran off and the chase began!
What a fun little game to entertain her, she did so love when opportunity presented itself, what a waste it would be to ignore such tempting games. If she caught it huzzah, a little snack for her night, if not then at least she got some amusement out of the cat and mouse game of chase. Either way she wouldn't be paying much attention to where she was going, if she should happen to come near any herd territory or other stars.

Anariya continued to move forward despite the hesitance she was having toward leaving her family's lands. Her eyes and ears were attentive to anything that may move, though it seemed that for the most part the forest was still and quiet. Not that she blamed any little furry creature that happened to be about, her family was mostly predators to other mammals or birds of flight.
Her two tails danced behind her when she suddenly stopped. Staring directly in her face was something just barely bigger than a large butterfly. It stared at her before flitting around, stopping for a moment.
"What are you doing out here Anariya? Its not like you to leave the lands."
Musing at her niece, Anariya sighed slightly. "I just wanted to get out Nessa. I haven't been out on my own before... there is so much out there to explore.
Nessa considered but slowly nodded. "Would you like me to come with you? Or is this something you need to do yourself?" She was afraid for her aunt. Though she was born of Anariya's nephew, Nessa was a bit older and she had been through more than Anariya. She hadn't wanted anything bad to happen to Anariya the way it had her.
"Thank you for the offer... but I think I need to learn how to walk on my own four hooves." She smiled gently at Nessa until she heard a sudden noise. Her ears went down and actually went into a stance to protect her great-niece. However, she was suddenly surprised to see a rather sleek looking black feline.

With a complete lack of direction the feline star kept up the chase, chuckling away to herself as she trotted along after the mouse. It was when the little bugger darted into a shrubbery that she had dived in after it, the bush shaking like an epic battle ensued inside. After a few moments there was a stillness then Missy burst out with a mouse dangling from it's tail in her mouth and a big satisfied Look what I did kinda grin spread all over her face. Without looking to surprised at the company she eyed the small fluttering object and couldn't stop her tail from swishing again, she watched it's every movement and felt herself start to slowly remove herself from the noisy bush towards it.To any other predator it would be obvious she was trying to be very slow, and sneaky and stalk up to it, no doubt she'd drop the mouse and pounce if she got close enough.
