Grrel was lounging around on the beach looking out at the waves crashing into Serenia's shore. As she lounged she thought back to her clan and how much more noisy and eventful it was. There was always someone talking, or doing something and being around everyone was so nice.. thought he peace and quiet here in her own little cave was nice, she missed being surrounded by her clan some days. Like today. Today the sounds of the forest made Grrel homesick for the quiet of the desert. where only the faint sounds of far off dragons and the rustle of wind blown sand could be heard. The cheerful chirping of the birds and rustling of the leaves were nothing like her home's sounds. The heat that Grrel was used to and the dryness were gone, only the gentle warmth of a forest sun and the humidity of incoming rain dwelled on Serenia. Grumbling under her breath Grrel rolled in the sand. Normally she never did anything as undignified as this, but she felt the need to have sand in her scales, like she used to always have when on Eowyn.
Standing up and shaking herself, Grrel decided to leave for Eowyn, it was late and she'd arrive probably around midnight, but she just couldn't help wantign to go home. As she flapped her wings in preparation for taking off, vines suddenly burst form beneath her feet. A deep hissing chuckle emerged fromt he Ysali dragon that stalked out of the forest behind Grrel unto the beach. Grrel cursed her inattention and growled in anger. Sparks flew across her scales as she loosed a lightning bolt at the ambush-er. She then quickly ripped apart the vines holding her down and bolted into the sky. She hated Ysali's, their control of the plantlife made staying on the ground dangerous... she couldn't even relax with them around! Deciding to go home, Grrel flew swiftly away from the lumbering Ysali. She paused only for a moment to mock it for its slow ungainly flight before speeding away, knowing that only another Kiandri or Ayrala could catch her in the air.
