I'd like to know what video-games/TV shows/movies people are obsessing over, as it's been a while since I actually took the time to join any. Seriously, my biggest fandom is still Harry Potter. Though I did recently fall in love with the Spartacus series on Starz.

But yeah I'm interested in discovering some new fandoms because I'm feeling quite bored lately.

Not many fandoms I am in, but...

TV Series-
Me and some friends are very much into the
Walking Dead series on AMC.

I just got caught up on the show though, so I haven't
been much into the fandom yet.

Game-
I have to friends who are obsessed with Team Fortress 2, even
their dad is really into it! The fandom is huge too!

I'm pretty much out of the loop with current movies/shows/games. However I do have a few fandoms I'll share.

My game of choice is Dance Dance Revolution, I personally like Supernova and X right now. For the more relaxing, sit down games, I break out the ancient NES and Super Mario Bros. 3, Kiwi Kraze, or Kirby's Adventure.

I'm very fond of the anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica right now but also have been watching some Slayers.

My current movie of choice is Labyrinth. David Bowie, what more needs to be said? heart

The Walking Dead is all my co-workers talk about, haha. It seems to have a pretty huge fanbase so maybe I should give it a try. I also feel like it'll be a lot to catch up on. Not that I really mind, but it's been around for a little while, I think?

I Googled Team Fortress 2. First-person-shooters are not my strong point, lol. I should learn since so many newer games are FPSs though. Well I did play FFVII: DOC and did well with it and really enjoyed it. My sister likes Call of Duty a lot and when I've ever played with her lemme tell yah, I was not very succesful.

I love older games. So much more than newer games, to be honest. I really only keep up with Final Fantasy and it's going downhill for me too. Kaper suggested I play Legend of Zelda, which seems really good and like something I would really like. He and Strings kinda guided me to where to start and stuff, lol. NES games just seem all around really fun.

Anime. Yes. Anime is something I want to start watching again. I have such fond memories of being a hardcore anime nerd. I'm more out of the loop with anime than anything. Slayers seems good. And funny. Miera sent me clips of it and I did a lot of laughing.

Catch up is a pain. 29 episodes out right now, each
is an hour long. That's 29 hours of time you have to invest.
I was 12 episodes in, then I spent all of this week doing nothing
but watching TV to catch up. xP
Worth it though! That show gets to my emotions like
no one's business! I've never cried so much. ;A;

I agree with you on FPSs, but they are nice to play
if that's all your friends play. xD
That's the situation I am in, all my friends play them, so
I had to learn.

I have a few but I'm sure I'll be more help to get you back into the anime sort of thing.
-Naruto Shippuden: I have been watching the anime since it started and it is the second arc of the Naruto Series. Naruto and many others are older and stronger. The action really picks up and there's more to do with the Akatsuki.

[This is an old one but I love to watch xD] -Shin Chan: Also called Crayon Shin Chan is such a funny anime. It follows the adventures of the five-year-old Shinnosuke "Shin" Nohara and his parents, baby sister, dog, neighbors, and friends and is set in Kasukabe, Saitama Prefecture. Many of the jokes in the series stem from Shin-chan's occasionally weird, unnatural and inappropriate use of language, as well as from his inappropriate behavior. I find myself watching this on long breaks from school and even late at night so when I laugh I wake up the whole house! haha

-K or K Project: A short anime but great story and great graphics. There's also a manga version called K: Memory of Red but it updates really slow. There's also rumors of a season two!

-Legend of Korra: If anyone watched Avatar: The Last Airbender I'm sure they will like Legend of Korra. The anime follows Korra, the new avatar, and is set sometime in the 1920s area. I watched the whole series two times now even though there's only one season at the moment. There's gong to be a season two and three released. Season two is rumored to be released March of 2013.

-Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan: This is an anime about a half Yokai [Japanese ghost/demon] and his large clan of demons. It has some school episodes in it but it's a pretty great story. The anime is short but there's a long running manga series called Nurarihyon No Mago.

Ok, Video Games:

-Heavy Rain: A very fun game with a great story and graphics. For the PS3. It starts off slow, mostly to learn the controls and feel of the game, but soon gets into the action. You can play as four characters and all characters are trying to solve a series of murders. In some areas you must drive fast down the wrong way on a high way, jump from building to building to stay free and not get arrested, and even a fight at the end if you pick the right ending that is. Right ending you say? Yes, there are 22 endings. So you can play over and over and over again.

-Sleeping Dogs: For the PS3 and xbox this is a sort of Chinese triad game and you play the character of Wei Shen an undercover cop on a mission to take down the triad from the inside. Filled with many missions, fighting, car chases, races, drug busts, and many cars, clothes and items for you apartments to buy this game will keep you playing.

-Catherine: For the PS3 and xbox this game has a deep love triangle. There's also a series of castles made out of movable boxes you must climb. There's one rule, you fall you die. Love is Over. You play as Vincent Brooks, the man torn between his dream girl and his somewhat controlling girlfriend. You can work to please either one because between the stages of castles you must climb you have to answer questions. Pick the right ones and at the end you get your ending. This game also has multiple ending, if I remember right there are four endings. The music is also good to.

I think that's it. Oh wow, I put a lot haha. Anyway, I hope I helped somewhat.

Oooh, so many. Okay, I have seen an episode of Shin-Chan. It was hilarious. I was like, half asleep watching Adult Swim and it came on and I liked it. Don't know why I never went looking for it again. I like the way the characters look too, haha.

As for the rest, I have not seen or played. I really want more video-games to play though. I take ages to beat a game. I think you've showed me a trailer for at least one of those you mentioned. I think Catherine. I like games with multiple endings so I think I should really check that one out. Heavy Rain too. I need a trip to the video-game store sometime.

Well I did watch Naruto while it was on Cartoon Network. I haven't seen Shippuden though. I liked Naruto so much at the time, maybe I should finish watching it first and then watch it.

Thanks for the bunch of suggestions. It's a big help.

I practically grew up with an N64 so everything from Zelda, Star Fox, Mario, etc. I played. Even some weird obscure games too.

I can not wait until October when the newest Pokemon game comes out. If you couldn't tell by my sig pic.

I played all Assasssin's Creed games and loved each in its own way. I can say Ezio Auditore de Firenze quite perfectly, but I'm still learning how to say Connor's real name. Don't ask me to spell it.

My panties are currently wet with anticipation over ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE. You take all the fun, exploration times of Elder Scrolls and all the good bits of MMOs and you have this game. I played about 440 hours and counting of Skyrim and I plan to play the s**t outta ESO when it comes out. Some of my friends on Gaia are playing it too. We're all gonna group up when and if we get into the beta and wreck the place.

I am also quite the fan of many Let's Players on Youtubs. To name a few: Two Best Friends, Rooster Teeth, and Game Grumps are my favorites. Funny times.

I HAVE SO MANY FEELS FOR SO MANY THINGS IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY.
crying

I'm into comics, and I have to say Batman has been my favourite since I was like, 3.

Avatar the Last Airbender followed by Legend of Korra have a lot of my feels.
ijustdon'tknowwhattodowithmyself.

Video games I obsess over?
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
That's been my favourite video game since I was a little kid and first got to try playing it on my N64.
There's also a game called Vindictus online that's free to play and somewhat addicting.
I have a friend that I play that with a lot.
Actually met him on Gaia, and got him hooked on Vindictus as well.
xD;

Edit: OH GOOD LORD I FORGOT MY OTHER FAVOURITE N64 GAME.
HOW COULD I?
Space Station: Silicon Valley.
Weirdest game ever, but I loved it so much.
I need a new N64. And to get that game.
Because so many childhood feels.

Space Station Silicon Valley is totally one of my favorite N64 games, and for some reason when I was much younger and more into selling games I sold JUST THAT GAME.

I need to get a copy, myself... I really miss playing that game. It's nice to know that there are still people that loved it.

Pretty sure you're the only other person I know of that's ever played that game. xD

You actually owned that game!? So jealous.
I always rented it from a movie place not far from where I lived when I was little.
Sadly, my N64 and all my games melted in a fire that happened at my old house, which is why I need to get a new one.

But it's SO GOOD. Hey, that's the reason I ended up getting it, because I had rented it SO MUCH. I wish that I hadn't sold it, but I've been like that with a lot of games recently that I once sold. The weird thing about the N64 is that I kept ALL my other games EXCEPT that one, which is kind of nuts.

That's so sad! D: I do wish that they'd re-release it on the Virtual Console or something.
