Otto had missed Valentine's day thanks to a strange status effect coupled with his long stay in the Infirmary. While he wasn't too beat up about it, it did remind him he kind of had a girlfriend now. As such, maybe he should be spending time with her instead of lounging by himself in his pillow pile reading books and listening to music? Yeah. Maybe. Otto rolled onto his back, staring at his phone and trying to come up with a suitable message to send. He wasn't really sure how to treat her to a date yet. Maybe next time he had leave. He held the phone above his face while he was still laying down, texting a message out to Eva. Text From Otto Text To Eva: Wanna hang out? Hmm.. kind of lame. Otto deleted that and typed another. Doesn't seem urgent at all... maybe....Text From Otto Text To Eva: Hey Eva, Its boring and lonely--- No.Text From Otto Text To Eva: ehfiuowhegoiwrgrwg In the process of typing that text he accidentally dropped the phone on his face. ....and sent it. As is. :I Text From Otto Text To Eva: Sorry about that. I dropped my phone. Are you busy? Wanna hang out with me? I'm in my room. ....better.

It was nice, Eva decided, to be a girl again. While being turned into a guy really hadn't been all that bad (beyond the awkwardness of trying to take a shower without looking at herself), she had missed her female body. When she had visited Otto in the infirmary, it had taken a lot of resistance not to rub her cheek against his or give him a peck on the forehead as she usually would have. The poor blond had (understandably) been extremely weirded out by his girlfriend suddenly becoming...er, well, his boyfriend.
It was a pity they had had to miss Valentine's Day, but then again, it wasn't as if they couldn't do something now, right? Perking up, Eva whipped out her phone, and had just been about to text Otto when her cellphone suddenly buzzed with a message. Speak of the devil! Grinning, she opened it up...
....
...? Looking puzzled, she sent back a quick message.
His next message cleared everything up. She laughed, grinning from ear to ear as her fingers flew over the keys.
Text from Eva Actually, I was just going to text you myself and ask if you wanted to do something! I'll be there soon then--gimme five minutes!

Otto smiled to himself as he got both messages, texting a reply back. Text From Otto Text to Eva: Cool <3 See ya soon Quote: Message Sent! Did I seriosuly send a heart emote!?!?
<>
Gawddammit...
Otto huffed and tossed his phone aside, rolling back onto his stomach and gathering his books. He took a look around his room and to his horror... it was a war zone.
Having a messy room was fine when he was single and no one visited. But this? He couldn't let a girl come in and see his boxers hanging off of furniture...
It was Five minutes of cardio as Otto ran around tidying up. Clothes were bundled and shoved under the bed, candy wrappers were stuffed into a garbage can, his bathroom was... oh no how did it get so messy?
PANIC MODE.
Did he even own any cleaning supplies? Maybe he'd just keep the door closed... But what if Eva needed the bathroom!? ********!

Eva stared blankly at her cellphone screen.
He sent her a heart.
He sent her a heart emote.
She tried not to giggle wildly as she threw on some clothes, simultaneously pleased and amused by the tiny little emote. Had he actually thought about it before putting it in? Or had it been reflexive? The latter seemed a little more probable, but the former--
--Oh, she was going to see him in a few minutes time anyways. No point in dwelling on it now!
Humming cheerfully to herself, the girl made her way down to Otto's room, and had been about to lift a hand to knock when she heard...running? At least, it sounded like someone--Otto, she was sure--was zipping back and forth in the room. What could he possibly be doin--ah. Aaaah.
Eva finally knocked, which was followed by her calling out: "It's okay Puppy, you're a healthy young man! Just shove your magazines under you bed or something if you don't want me to see them!"

The knock nearly scared him witless, whirling around to look at the door. She was already here, and everything was still subpar for having company. Why did he care, anyway? He was pretty sure she'd seen his messy room countless times. She was likely used to it. Yeah.. yeah it would be fine---- . . . H-healthy young man?...Magazines? The... porn mags...? He'd forgotten about them. He wasn't sure if he was more embarrassed that they were out in the open or that Eva seemed okay with it, or that she assumed that's what it was to begin with. Said magazine was tossed behind the head board and Otto calmly made his way to answer the door. "Uh.. Hi. C'mon in." He greeted somewhat bewilderedly, stepping aside and letting Eva enter the room. He made a valid effort to clean. He really did. He.. tried.

Eva waited patiently outside, rocking back and forth on her heels as she tried to imagine just how flustered poor Otto was right now. From all that running around, it sure sounded like he had had a lot of magazines to hide though. One...five...maybe twenty? Maybe he just liked variety, or--
--Oh. Eva perked up when the door opened up to reveal the blond, her eyes visibly lighting up. She cast his room a quick, easy glance before jumping up to hug the boy, squishing her cheek against his in her usual, customary greeting. "Hi Puppy!" More cheek rubbing, and then she leaned back with a grin, looking not unlike an overly-cheerful and enthusiastic puppy herself. "How are you feeling now? It's a relief that they finally let you out of the infirmary."
She leaned forward to kiss him on the cheek, and then laughed. "Glad that I'm not a pretty boy anymore?"

What was she looking at? Was there more he didn't see--- oh good. She seemed not to care about the room at all. He was slightly caught off guard as she leaped at him, arms instinctively wrapping around her as she smooshed her cheek against his. Well it was sure hard to stay anxious with affection like that. Tension melted and his posture relaxed, giving Eva a light shrug at her statement.
"M'okay now. No more aches n' pains." Scars though. Lot's of scars. He never thought such things would bother him, since so many other hunters waltzed around with them like seasoned badasses. Really they only served as haunting reminders that he was indeed still mortal.
The kiss on the cheek did it. He couldn't hide the smile that followed if his life depended on it, as bashful as it was. "Uh.. yeah. Very glad. I much prefer you as a pretty girlfriend, not a boyfriend." He smirked lightly.

Her expression was a mixture of both relief and doubt as she leaned back to get a better look at Otto, lifting a hand to very lightly touch one of the scars on his face. "So they don't hurt?" She still hadn't gotten the full story of the attacker from Otto. All she knew was from what others had told her, as she hadn't wanted to focus too much on the attack while Otto was in the infirmary. Her visits then had been filled with terrible-looking homemade goods and teasing.
But now that he was out...
She did need to know who to hunt down, after all. While Eva typically left Halloween creatures to themselves--and actually liked a good number of them--she wasn't so sure she could find it in her heart to forgive someone who had attacked Otto so brutally. ...But maybe she shouldn't ask for the details right this minute. It felt like a good while since she had last had the chance to chill with the blond, after all.
Grinning up at him at his reaction, she gave him a very gentle shove on the shoulder. "Aw, you have to admit that I wasn't a bad looking guy, right? But I'm glad to be a girl again too." Another cheekrub, and then she turned to eye his room. "So...should I avoid looking under the bed?" She couldn't help but tease, her voice light and playful as she turned to raise her brows at the blond.

"No.." Otto affirmed, the scars on his face having little to no feelings of pain in them anymore. Perhaps a little more numb than the rest of his skin, though.
Otto smirked and shook his head. "I ain't gunna say it." He teased back, never going to admit if Eva made a good looking guy or not.
Her light teasing and playful brow raise was met with a cocked brow and poker face. "Not unless yer into that kinda thing." He teased right back.

"Good," She murmured, her shoulders relaxing and a relieved expression replacing her concerned one, "In hindsight, I probably should have asked before greeting you."Cheek squishes were all nice and well, but it wouldn't have been good if the action had only served to hurt the receiver.
...Who knew cheek squishes had the potential to be painful.
Her lips split into a grin, but she was quick to put on a pout as she propped her hands up on her hips and leaned forward. "Aww, come on, Puppy! I was pretty good-looking, wasn't I?" And in fact, she had looked quite a bit like Wilson too...
Without missing a beat, Eva lifted a hand and tapped her chin thoughtfully. "Well, I am curious what kind of things you read..."

......BAM The door swung open full force, smashing against the wall before swinging closed just as loudly. There followed a few seconds of silence, followed by a few seconds of almost frustrated noises, and finally the door opened again, much softer this time.
"AND THIS IS OTTO'S ROOM!" Softer yes, quieter...not so much. Jeremy stood in the doorway, one arm extended as if leading a charge and the other holding the hand of a much paler blonde girl behind him. "Wow it's actually kinda clean. You know. For Otto." It didn't seem to matter to him that the room was occupied. No, his attention was more or less on the poor girl he had been dragging with him.

There was a snort of laughter when the door had slammed closed after being so enthusiastically opened, laughter that got louder as her nameless tour guide showed her yet another person's dorm. "You're like a squirrel on caffeine." Heidi teased, grinning and peering around Jeremy to see...oh..
Oh hey! "Hi Otto! Hi Eva! You're Eva, right? I had a golem during a training course and Marcus told me it was you." He'd said she was nice. She wanted to meet her.
How convenient!

See what he read? His porn mags? Otto almost laughed. "Yeah right. Over my dead bodyyAAH!" Otto yelped at the loud band, instinctively putting an arm in front of Eva to block her from any incoming attack. Was the building exploding again?!
It was silent again, but only for a moment.
Otto's tense shoulders tensed more, eyes narrowing as his raised arm flopped back down to his side. "Dude.. who said ya'll could break m'damn door in?"
"...Hi Harry."

After all these missions and all the training she had had to go through, Eva no longer considered herself easy to startle...but the last thing she had been expecting was for two people to suddenly bust into Otto's room. The girl jumped a foot in the air, her body prickling as she instinctively tried to summon Chara, only to realize that the blond was guarding her and the two intruders were not enemies but vaguely familiar faces.
...G-geez!
Like Otto, she let her arms drop back to her sides, getting back up from her slightly crouched, defensive position. She took a deep breath to calm herself before turning to face their visitors, lifting both of her brows as a weak smile spread over her lips. "You scared the hell out of me," She confessed, before her gaze flickering over towards Heidi. Lips spreading into a wider grin, she waved back cheerfully before chuckling.
"Oh geez, you got me as your golem? I hope I wasn't too much trouble for you." Now that she was over the initial scare, she seemed pretty relaxed considering her chilling time with Otto had just been interrupted. They could chill as a group, right? ...Right?
She glanced over towards Otto, lifting her brows.

"...I'm like a what?" Jeremy turned a very curious stare back at Heidi before Otto said anything, and after that his attention moved, but only for a few seconds. "I did!" He offered cheerfully enough just before leaning backwards, his free hand covering his mouth to whisper rather loudly to Heidi. "He doesn't like me!" Despite his words he sounded cheerful enough, almost as if he really didn't care but thought he'd share anyway.
"...My name isn't Harry..." The Sun Trainee, who didn't know Heidi's last name, gave Otto a really odd look, like maybe he'd blown some fuses. Oh well.
